Which class of 2018 QB gets the highest extension
billsbackto81 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't care, I'm not writing the check. But if I had to guess they'll all use each other as leverage. It will be based on D. Watson's current contract and once the first one signs they'll go from there in negotiations. Josh will likely be first as he has shown incremental improvement every year and has displayed all the things you want in a long term franchise QB. Also I think Josh genuinely wants to be here and might go " contract friendly" ala Mahomes to retain as much talent as possible. JMO. -
Never been the biggest fan of Kiper but man did he nail his evaluation on Josh and never backed off it. Made McShay and his haters look like total idiots. Watching that "know it all" smirk on McShay and knowing what we know now is pure gold.

Colts OT signs with packers...what?!?

What do mopeds and Offensive Lineman have in common? 😂 -
Why are we so bad covering the TE?
billsbackto81 replied to Ramza86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Plus the fact that it takes time for a TE to find the soft spot. Without getting to the QB quickly just increases his chances to get open. Receiving TEs usually chip a rusher before falling into coverage to find open space. Rivers had the cleanest jersey in the stadium Saturday. -
Zack Moss- injury updates- McDermott confirms Out
billsbackto81 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never said Williams was the answer. I know our options are limited and his sample size isn't enough to instill confidence. Just stating we need a stronger RB for the tough yards. Not going to put it all on Zach and Motor though. Our Run blocking is pretty darn bad. -
Gabriel Davis sideline catch

For a rookie he's shown amazing poise and concentration especially in his foot placement. -
Gabriel Davis sideline catch

2nd throw I thought was more impressive. Rolling to his left and throwing cross body while being chased. We've seen it several times this year. I can honestly say from what I've seen this year that no QB tosses a better cross body throw with velocity and accuracy than our boy Josh. That's not homerism, it's reality. -
Zack Moss- injury updates- McDermott confirms Out

We don't need another pass catcher. We need a back that can hit the hole and get 3-5 yards consistently. Another example of why Josh should be MVP. He has no running game to take pressure off a pass rush whatsoever and still puts up big numbers as he carries this team. -

Milano should have been benched

All our LBs were brutal yesterday, not just Milano. Colts have an exceptional OLine and they showed it. -
How Good or Bad was our Defense,Really?
billsbackto81 replied to Buffaloflash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rivers played well. He made big time throws and conversions the entire game. Reich and his decisions is what cost them. He may not have a ring but I do believe this was his first wildcard loss in his career. -
Bills have banged up receivers now
billsbackto81 replied to wjag's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of promising receivers come in the league every year, doesn't mean you'll find one. 1 rounders bust and 4th rounders prosper. Brown is a proven and versatile vet that isn't a one trick pony. 9 mil, is that right? It is a lot for a team that has a lot of other players to retain against a restricted cap. He may be gone but I personally would keep him if possible. -

They'll keep Smoke if all possible. He may have to restructure his contract if he wishes to stay. When healthy he's an exceptional #2 and even borderline #1. 1000k WRs are not a rarity, but they don't grow on trees either. Davis has played the part and has a bright future. -
Credit to Leslie Frazier on that final possession

That's awesome! My question is where was this great play calling the rest of the game. D got absolutely gashed, owned and embarrassed. They should be signing over their playoff checks to one: Joshua Patrick Allen.. -
Bucs/WFTeam Playoff Game- 8:15 EST

This is why I want no part of TB if we make it to the SB. It's really pathetic how the league and refs slobber over this guy.
