I salute all the posters who were adamant in their belief that the secondary (in particular Levi Wallace) would be significantly better in coverage once the D line got consistent pressure on the QB.
The results so far have been obvious and impressive. Take a bow!
If I were Lamar right now if the Ravens offered 5 years 75mil w/ 20 guaranteed you run (which is his specialty BTW) and sign it. He's a great athlete but he's not a franchise QB.
Milano has been amazing in coverage, run support and pass rush.
Motor is on pace for over 1200 yards
Hyde and Poyer are money together.
Rousseau and AJ look solid and bring constant pressure.
Defense as a whole look quite impressive so far.
Taunting has been a penalty for quite a while now. It's a judgment call by the refs now which I'm not crazy about because some players get away with it more than others. Wasn't crazy about the call on Levi but it was correct. You can't flex standing directly over a player on the ground. He should've known better. I must admit he played well today and I'm one of his biggest detractors.
Spot on. A lot like Wallace. I wouldn't rush into a contract though. Like many players he plays better with a lead and teams are forced to pass. He's physical but does get toasted quite often.
Can't remember the last time I was disappointed in our offense after such a dominating shut out.
BTW: That was the " business decision" Moss we want to keep seeing.
This is the only plus I can take away as far as signing Sanders is in the event of injury to other receivers. He's a nice compliment to have out there.
I still would've preferred using that money on a CB2 though.😒
