This is the only plus I can take away as far as signing Sanders is in the event of injury to other receivers. He's a nice compliment to have out there. I still would've preferred using that money on a CB2 though.😒

I really think the Bills are really going to struggle in this one. Miami now has a blueprint from last week albeit not the type of defense they like to run. I'm sure they'll take bits and pieces of what the Steelers did and try to use it to their advantage. They have to be relishing the thought of going 2-0 in the division 2 games into the season. BIG INCENTIVE! Going to be the usual 100 degree muggy Miami day as well. Plus handing them their arse last game of the year destroying their "feel good" season and playoff berth. Ouch!! Still, Josh has owned them in their house so I'll go 27-21 Bills.

This is what I wonder. I've thought about posting a dedicated thread but this topic is as good as any to address my curiosity. I'm all in on what McD and Beane have assembled the last 3 seasons. The Bills have proven to be a team on the up. So why is it still they don't get as I say, " the benefit of the call or no call " as frequently as other top teams? The game Sunday was very frustrating to watch as our O line was constantly called for Holding (and rightfully so) and Pitt got away with multiple obvious hold calls, especially a awful phantom call on Tre (ticky tak hand fighting) that would've really stuck it to Pitt. As good as they are now, when are they going to get the calls that other top teams get? You would've thought Big Ben was playing in Pittsburgh the way that game was going.

No. But I do avoid post game replays, commentary, videos and YouTube clips.

I'll take it! One year Vet minimum. He can't play man like he use to but is still a very good zone CB with good instincts.

In 1996 the Jaguars got a playoff berth on the final game of the regular season against the Falcons. It happened when HOF kicker Morton Andersen missed a 30 yd. FG as time expired that would have won it sending the Jags home. But he missed the chip shot! The Jags went on a run first beating our beloved Bills in what I believe was Jim Kelly's final NFL game (not sure, but I believe so). Their run went all the way to the AFCCG where they lost to NE. They made it that far because a usually money player missed a chip shot. In other words, it doesn't matter how you get in. Get in and anything is possible, even a championship. I can't believe I wrote all that just to say, I WOULDN'T CARE HOW THEY WON THE SB, JUST WIN IT!!!!

It's only one game. The combination of Josh "jitters" Allen feeling so amped up needing to justify his contract and Daboll knowing he's the smartest guy in the room created the perfect storm. S#÷t Storm that is. Josh will be fine. His performance as underwhelming as it was would have still been good enough for a victory. Unfortunately some bone headed playcalling, untimely head scratching penalties, a blocked punt for TD and Levi Wallace at CB2 turned it to a loss. Josh and Daboll aren't going to see this type of formidable defense every week and maybe when they do next time they'll be better prepared.

Steelers D coordinator was ready with a great game plan. Daboll had no answers and had some mind numbing play calls, especially on 4th down.

Dawkins looked really bad today. I thought he was hurt. Franchise LTs don't allow that type of pressure. Been saying for 2 years now Wallace is a big liability. He's not a starting caliber CB and opposing teams know this. Spending money on Sanders instead of a quality CB is gonna hurt us.
