  1. This D has no identity. No answers against any competent offense.
  2. I don't know whether to compliment KC's pass rush or blast our O line play.
  3. Might be time to cut bait. No way should they offer a 10+ Mil a year contract on Milano. Play out the season and offer a prove it deal. If he goes elsewhere, so be it.
  4. I'm less disappointed in Oliver as I am Hughes and Murphy. Oliver is playing hurt and getting double teamed often. Hughes seems like he's still trying to perfect his spin move as he keeps getting pushed away from the play. And Murphy's great at clean up duty when the oppositions play breaks down. Two guys just collecting a check at this point.
  5. I have little doubt that if we play Tennessee again with Tre, Smoke and Milano in the line up we will win fairly easy.
  6. It's the front 4 that's killing this D. The LBs are being exposed because our D linemen and lack of pass rush. These guys just can't get to the QB and Hughes has been non existent all season.
  7. Crazy stat! Lamar 5 games into his 4th year is 2nd in Ravens history in passing TDs. How uninspiring has their QB history been that a Running QB is 2nd in passing in his 4th year?
  8. Really is a shame this D couldn't get any pressure on Tannehill. He's folds like a house of cards when you can get pressure on him. Watt with the strip sack and now Texans have the lead.
  9. I'll say this. I really enjoy and envy an Offensive line that run blocks extremely well. And Pitt does it well.
  10. I happen to like Barkley. Lets face it, if Josh goes down nobody on this current roster or Bortles for that matter is saving the season. Every once in a while I'll remember the Jets game 2 years ago when Barkley dismantled the Jets on their home field and it makes me smile.
  11. You're either a relative of his or his press agent. 1st ballot? LOL! Comparing him to Watt. Watt is a 5X All Pro Kerrigan has never been an All Pro. Kerrigan has never been a DPOY Ok, maybe I undersold his status as a player saying he's slightly better than Murphy. He's much better than Murphy, but 1st ballot HOFer? Another example of people pushing players in the HOF when they belong in the Hall of Very Good.
  12. Isn't he just a slightly better version of Trent Murphy, if that?
  13. The Pats run a Running Back by Commitee style of offense. Bell is a feature back who needs touches. I do think he'd go to NE or any other contender if the opportunity presents itself. I will say this, if any back can make the most of this O line it's probably Bell, if he's healthy.
  14. Any back will be mediocre behind this O Line and their inability to push and create lanes. We need "The Hogs" of the 80s and early 90s, not Bell. But,....... I wouldn't be against it.
  15. Vrabel's game plan was very good. He knew the Bills run game was lacking and with Smoke being out played deep zone and forced Josh to sustain long drives without making mistakes. Buffalos TDs drives consisted of 15 plus plays each. Also they played field position flawlessly working with short fields the entire game.
  16. True. I've can't recall ever seeing a line so one dimensional. They're just not physical enough to open running lanes. They are all finesse and pass block very well because they move well backwards and laterally. They don't have the chops to put D linemen on their backs.
  17. Wow, all of this after 1 loss? Yes the D has not looked championship caliber but neither has any other. News Flash! There is an Offensive Explosion going on in the NFL right now. They seemed to start clicking last week in Vegas. They go into this game down 3 main contributors on D and things don't go well. Surprised? You shouldn't be. That's a pretty tall order for any DC going up against a good team.
  18. Allen probably could've gone toe to toe if the Defense had made a stop or two before it got out of hand and his receivers didn't drop so many passes. Countless penalties, ZERO sacks, no pressure to speak of, horrible tackling and an overall lack of discipline. Also, this had to be Dabolls worse called game this season. Beasley not catching a pass until the 3rd quarter with Brown out is mind boggling. At full strength this defense is average, but depleted? Well you saw for yourself. There is no quality depth behind our starters. Plus defenses are starting to realize, HEY? They can't run the ball! Let's play deep zone and make Allen dink and dunk because we can stop their rush with just 4 linemen.
  19. At full strength I feel they're very good on the back 7. But the front 4 is not good and generate no kind of pressure at all.
