Man it's hard to watch this defense or lack thereof.

He's not the thumper that's needed at the MLB position. As mentioned, he'd get washed out of plays. Plus you think he's injury prone now? What til he's asked to absorb MORE contact attacking the LOS. Personally I don't think he gets retained, at least not to a lucrative contract. He just can't stay healthy.

He's not inactive.

If Brady wins another SB with the Bucs it will be gross. I have nothing against "process" and "culture" but darn it when will that train of thought supersede the accumulation of known talent and a willingness to take chances to win a championship. Take the Eagles for example. They're a mess right now but 3 years ago they pushed all their chips in and now they have a Lombardi. A trade off all of us would make. It's frustrating because we all want to win the supposed right way with coaching, cap management, high character players and an ethical approach. It's just not working, at least not yet.

Wait! I thought Harrison Phillips was the answer? From what I read here he was out playing and taking reps from Star before he got injured last season. Personally I wasn't crazy about the Star signing but only because I felt it was way too much but this D certainly misses his presence.

Perhaps, but he would instantly become the teams best pass rusher by a country mile. Plus I think most have already given up on resigning an often injured Matt Milano and an often lost Tremaine Edmunds. So they can save money there I guess.

Never thought a 300 lb. man could be moved so easily when he's supposedly resisting against it.

Do you really think the reason Spain was released was so we can promote Zimmer to the active roster? You don't think maybe there were some underlying issues involved with Spain?

They're doing it with their eye on the future. They know they will not compete for the post season, don't let their recent minor success fool you. This way they improve their own draft position while getting two of Houston's picks as well. They could very well have 3 picks in the Top 10-15 range. Can you imagine what they can do with that capital along with a aggressive free agency? Woof!!!

I've been saying it all night. This offensive line is terrible. Blame Josh all you want, yes he's been bad tonight but c'mon. If you can't run on a night like this you have no business playing football. Their Defense doesn't respect our run game, why would they? Josh needs a little help don't you think?

Even the Jets aren't a guarantee next week.

Josh is struggling, this is true. But the O line is doing him no favors. Usually pretty decent in pass protection but not tonight.

This offensive line is putrid!!! Can't run block to save their life.
