Ok. I'll breathe in some of your air, but something tells me you live in Colorado😆 -

I guess your opinion of a "bust" differs from mine. When I think bust I think, Manziel Ja. Russell T. Mandarich Ki-jana Carter Charles Rogers Akili Smith V. Gholston Ryan Leaf, etc.... Not one productive season among them. There was a time, though short, CJ looked like he belonged in the NFL. -

In 2012 he rushed for 1244 at a 6.0 yard per carry average, 1703 scrimmage yards and made the PB. In 2013 he rushed for 933 in 15 games at 4.6 a carry. Did he pan out? No, but he was not exactly a bust. -

Whitner and Spiller were decent NFL players, they were just over drafted. Not their fault there. Maybin and Graham had no business in the NFL and were horrible decisions. -
Maybe, but they do have a good team when everyone is healthy. I don't think they beat Baltimore for the division but will likely be a WC contender. Last year can definitely serve as motivation for a young team with talent. Nah. Don't see it. KC/ Bills are the top tier Bal, Cle, Tenn, Miami, Colts are 2nd tier Cinderella hopefuls.

Bills players you disliked

Leodis. Too many memorable gaffes. Poz. Always seemed injured and never became the impact player we would've like. Gilmore. Nuff said. Tyrod. He was not good yet had so much advocacy from players as being mistreated because he was, well, you know.... He got so much misdirected credit for the playoff berth when it was the D that carried that team along with Dalton and Boyd.😆 Any decent QB would have won that game against Jax. He was pathetic. -
Darnold to the Panthers
billsbackto81 replied to 17islongenough's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not up to me to prove it. Easy to play Monday morning analyst knowing what we see now. Most had him ranked over Josh and some even over Baker. His draft profile was considered "Starter ready with Pro Bowl potential. Do you really think Josh would be the stud he is if drafted by the Jests with that coaching and front office? -

Darnold would've done fairly well if he were drafted by a competent franchise with an idea on how to build a team. He's not without skill. -
😆 How do you fully guarantee 80% of a contracts worth for a guy with his injury history? Kudos on his agent's part in the deal.
-
He's fast and runs hard which is probably the reason his injury history is what it is. But when healthy he's the homerun hitter we need. He should be excellent in rotation with Moss. I think Singletary may be done for. Shame cause I like the kid and he's shown flashes but has faltered in key situations.

Claypool Caught Kicking A Guy Outside A Bar
billsbackto81 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, just venting on some of my personal experiences since moving here 10 years ago. That was one of the craziest moments in my life I've ever witnessed on video. I actually thought it was staged at first because I found it completely unfathomable. -

If a fight was to settle things one on one, so be it. You lose, you tip your cap and move on. I live in Florida now where too many hot headed people have more guns in their truck than teeth in their mouth. Best to walk away if you can for you and your family's sake. -

Jests signed DT Sheldon Rankins
billsbackto81 replied to IgotBILLStopay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think many are gonna have to accept the fact that Beane is not going to make the splash on a "prime" player who can contribute immediately this season with the current cap budget. Not that Rankins is that type of player but he is pretty good. Hope the draft bears some quality fruit. -
Is Beane all but done with FA?
billsbackto81 replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was really hoping to add a difference maker on defense like a pass rusher. Upgrading CB2 would've been nice as well. But it seems most of the focus in FA was to retain our own guys which I don't have a problem with since they're the group that got us to the AFCCG. Cap space is really hurting us, especially with Josh and Tremaine coming up. -

LOL!!! 48 career games in 4 seasons. 6 total sacks, all in 2011 with the Jets. -

Jairus Byrd when healthy was a very good Safety and 3X Pro Bowler. You don't acquire the contract he got from NO being a one hit wonder. Maybin was never good enough to be considered a "one hitter". The only wonder he accomplished was being drafted in Rd 1 and being in the NFL as long as he was. -

I'd say Ickey Woods. -

Or anywhere else,..... So far. -
Nonsense! Haven't you heard, we re-signed Levi Wallace. CB2 is the least of our concerns. Well, at least that's how many posters here feel😒 It's tiring reading how many here are content with mediocrity. Always reading the old adage, " well you can't have an All Pro at every position". Duh! We can do better than Levi and not break the bank. I don't hate him I just feel he's nothing more than good depth. Just because he beats out the dead weight brought in to compete against doesn't make him starting caliber. JMHO.
-
Nah.... He's a similar skill set to Josh that will serve as a quality back up, nothing more. Josh has shown last season that he's still that physical and at times reckless player that can unfortunately get injured. Mitch is nice insurance.
-
I have, and it tastes like dirt. The fact that the "meh" guy wins the position every year should tell you something other than your perception that he's a starting caliber CB. I don't hate the guy, but we need better at #2.
-
Meh..... Depth, nothing more. Need an upgrade at CB2
