  1. This is where I am as well. If Edmunds was to break out it would've happened by now. Oliver needs to be that interior wrecking ball we need in the trenches and perhaps that will improve Edmunds and Wallace for that matter.
  2. Funny you bring this up. I've watched that game a few times and noticed that on pass plays where TJ would rush, Darryl would begin to come out of his stance simultaneously with the hike of the football putting him in perfect position to fend off TJ away from Josh. Advantage Williams because he obviously knows when the ball gets snapped and Watt doesn't. The game being in Buffalo will allow him to do the same because there's no opposing crowd noise. Hope the refs don't decide to start calling offside.
  3. Got to admit I haven't felt this much positive feedback from media analysts in a very long time and I'm a 40 year fan. Many picking Bills for the SB, Allen as MVP and McD for COTY. I got so used to embrassing the underdog role and relishing unexpected victories. This feels kinda strange.
  4. Why? 17/37 for 134, 0 TD's and 1 INT. That was his best effort against the Jags. That was his stat line when the Bills finally returned to the playoffs after over a decade and a half of ineptitude. As much as he wanted to think he was a pivotal figure it was the defense that year that carried the Bills into the postseason along with a little help from Cincy, not Tyrod who was benched because he was limited as a QB. Not because of race. 17 for freakin 37! No TDs! Way to represent Tuh-rod!
  5. What made it worse was that was the 3rd consecutive 4th down conversion on that last drive by the Jags. One of them being 4th and 23!!!
  6. Great QB. Hall of Fame caliber. That being said I wished for one Sunday a year he could've been better than: Jeff Hostedler Mark Rypien Troy Aikman
  7. Maybe the best DT, but player? No! LT revolutionized the LB position. Ray Lewis is in the conversation. Bruce has the sack record no one is touching and along with Reggie White are the best DEs in history IMO. Donald is an incredible talent, but best ever? I'd say no.
  8. I just watch the Bills and occasionally sneak a peek on division rivals when they play each other. Other than that weekends are reserved for family.
  9. Same here. I did own a modified SRT8 Challenger years back but muscle cars are a different animal entirely. You don't go into that world with reliability in mind. I now own a Tacoma TRD Sport and love that freaking truck. 6 years now and still rock steady reliable.
  10. Not when he's on the sideline and the other 11 are out there. 😅
  11. I would assume Sanders has more catches while Davis has more yards.
  12. Maybe. Saleh runs a similar 4-3 base as the Bills do and maybe feels Austin isn't suited as well as what Greg Williams was running last year. I do feel CB is a position of need though.
  13. Surprised the Jets cut Bless Austin. He seemed to play pretty well the 2x we saw him last season. Maybe worth a claim at a position of need.
  14. Well, consider this, They can't say. 1. Their QBs look like 💩 2. Teams are scoring a ton of points against them. 3. They've gotten worse in the off season. 4. They don't have team depth. 5. Their draft picks look terrible. 6. Nobody's expecting much from them. So I guess the narrative has to be BILLS DISHEVELED BY COVID! News at 11. 😅😅😅😅😅
  15. You mean some teams don't have an UDFA and 2nd year 6th round pick backing up their CB1? Interesting😋 Lost hope after all the good ones signed during Free Agency.
  16. Agree. Players like Shaq once paid play to the level of their surroundings. Being on a winning team during a contract year brought out his best. I don't expect the Jets to do much of anything as far as winning and team moral. Therefore I expect the same for Shaq's level of play.
  17. That goes without saying considering Love got his offense within the Bills 25 yard line 3x before he ran into bad luck. That doesn't happen with ARod. I think many expecting a big jump in defensive performance are going to be disappointed. They've gotten younger but not necessarily better. The pass rush is still inconsistent and they continue to run the same "bend not break" scheme. I don't see this unit keeping us in games on days the offense isn't clicking.
  18. Every Batman needs a Robin. I think Davis will be a solid WR in the league for years to come and I thought he showed enough to take the next step which was taking over for Brown. I like Sanders but didn't think he was needed and felt that money was better spent on a CB2.
  19. Was nice to see his chemistry with Sanders on full display. Their short yardage connections were money. With Diggs and Davis out wide Sanders and Beasley will feast underneath. If we get anything out of Knox and Hollister defenses will be for lack of a better word, defenseless😅
  20. He's a good player, unfortunately not an impactful one. Definitely not the elite MLB the Bills thought they were getting when they traded up. Doesn't help knowing Leonard and Warner could've been had later. He's a freak athlete with speed, length and thump, when he's where he's supposed to be. It's a shame he can't put it all together. Seems to be a likeable kid. Hope they coached him up cause this really is his shot to prove his worth.
  21. Damn! Beat me to it😅 I was gonna post, " Somewhere Darryl Williams is laughing uncontrollably"!
  22. I hope the D was playing vanilla and trying not to tip their hand prior to Game 1. They were fortunate it was Love out there instead of Rodgers. And honestly Love didn't have too much trouble moving the ball on our D either, just some bad luck.
  23. That same team won 10 games with a Fitz/Tua combo and were competitive in others. They've added good pieces and Watson could be a major get if acquired. Yes we beat the brakes off them, especially week 17 which I watch over and over on YouTube😝 but they will be needed to take seriously.
