  1. You present an interesting point, especially since the kick return aspects of ST's have been neutered over the past 5 years or so. I just thought it may be an option considering McKenzie's injury and skepticism over our other options. Really? Are you telling me you wouldn't have struck while the iron was hot? C'mon man. Buffalo wasn't coming anywhere near 10 mil per. Don't blame him or Phillips at all. NFL life is short.
  2. Question? If Allen posted last seasons stats during the 2019 season does Lamar still win the MVP? Lamar: 15 games, 13-2, 66 comp %, 3127 yds passing, 36 TDs, 83 QBR, 1206 yds rushing, 7 TDs, 4333 total yds, 43 total TDs Josh: 16 games, 13-3. 69.2 comp %, 4544 yds passing, 37 TDs, 81.7 QBR, 421 yds rushing, 8 TDs, 1 rec TD, 4965 total yds, 46 total TDs I don't think so. I understand he won the MVP and he's a generational talent but after seeing what Josh can do last season if you think Lamar is the better QB than I have no words.
  3. Never in the NFL has someone done so much with so little expected. Ranked currently 30th all time in passing yards! Good on you Fitz👍 Fitz always bets on himself and more times than not comes out smelling like a rose. Which I'm sure btw isn't easy with all that body hair. 😅
  4. Something tells me Covid is going to bring new meaning to the term "healthy scratch" this season.
  5. There are a few of us. After retiring from state service I found it not so economical to stay. So here I am in St. John's Florida amongst all the JAG offs😅. Really miss Ct and all the seasons.
  6. Love McKenzie but we'll be fine. Most kick offs are touchbacks anyway and Micah can field and fair catch punts until Isaiah gets back. He will definitely be missed on jet sweeps and trick plays.
  7. Why don't these guys ever claim CBs? The fact that Frazier is on record saying the CB2 position is neck and neck doesn't give me the warm fuzzies.
  8. A 4th would require some serious sorcery on Beane's part. Might have to break out the wand and hat for that one.😂
  9. That's the main issue for me too. Blue on top of blue? 😕 I don't think it's bad though. Some people just don't like change.
  10. Judging by all the Disagree, Thumbs Down, Ha Ha's and Vomit emojis on your post I would assume you have your answer. I don't want to see Daboll leave either. He's by far the best OC this team has seen since Marchibroda. He's earned the opportunity to have his own team and he's gonna have plenty of suitors at seasons end. You think the Pats ever thought, hmmm. Belicheck or Weis?
  11. This list was obviously comprised by receivers he shut down last season😅
  12. JC Jackson is 49 but Tre is 95? Yeah, that sounds right.🤭 Especially after Diggs took Jackson behind the woodshed last season.
  13. Wish they gave him as much time to develop as Phillips. Oh well, Brownies got a good one.
  14. I'm just curious. It appears a few disagree with my opinion on releasing him. First let me say I respect your opinion as you are of course entitled. But honestly what has he shown in the 3 seasons he's been here? We were all hoping he'd become the second coming of our beloved Meatball. In 3 seasons he's been active 31 games and started 3. He has a grand total of 0.5 sacks in that time. He's only played 33% of defensive plays on average even when healthy and a lot of times appeared over matched. I get that he's a good dude with high character and is community active but that doesn't win games. Please, give me some type of reason as to why he should be kept? Jordan Phillips was much more productive and he wasn't retained although I understand not wanting to pay 10 mil. per like Arizona did. Meh, maybe I'm wrong and it wouldn't be the first time. JMO..
  15. Time to cut bait. He seems like a good dude but can't stay healthy.
  16. I share this opinion as well. If they look this good with Mitch I can't wait when Josh starts slinging it.
  17. I know Webb and Fromm aren't world beaters but playing behind that 3rd string O line is a suicide mission. Hart and Devey are getting cut this week.
  18. Perhaps, but Mitch could very well be the second coming of Fitzpatrick. Career back up that gets a starting opportunity every blue moon. You had to go there?😤
  19. You don't know what his development would've been like with another team. Chicago just like the Jets had idiots running the show. Better coaching and acquisitions might've made a big difference for Trubisky and Darnold for that matter. I think many take for granted just how fortunate Josh was to land on a team with a staff that has competence and vision.
