A few thoughts about this post in no particular order. 1. Many fans, not only Bills fans will be triggered by all the attention the media is pouring on Mac Jones and the Patriots. 2. Outside of maybe the KC game the Bills have yet to put together a solid offensive performance against a quality opponent. It's time for Josh to shine under the bright lights of Primetime TV. 3. The Bills have not yet been accepted by many as a perennial powerhouse and is viewed as such by the media and other fan bases. Many have jumped off the wagon a little early. No need to be offended. 4. Oh Lord, why has thou forsaken my favorite of all sports teams. Please forgive my hateful thoughts for PFT and that 2 faced Chris Simms. 5. Think of all the joy that will flow over this message board when the Bills show the football world what paper champions the Patriots are. It will be beyond euphoric if Buffalo wins by 14 or more. 6. Take comfort in knowing no rookie QB has ever won a Super Bowl, and it won't happen this year either. 7. Relevance in the NFL is fleeting so let them enjoy a little sunshine before the narrative becomes, "we'll be better next year". Deep breaths Virgil π

Bills have the highest pressure/hurry rate in the NFL??

Or if you went home with the drunk unattractive mother of 3 after last call. Not that I know anything about that, but I have friends.π -

Would rather be in the Top 10 in Sacks and TFL' s. Pressure is great but like mentioned above, if it doesn't result in a negative outcome it's kinda moot. -
Innocent enough, right? π

I know exactly what it is. Men making millions to play a kids game we all love and wish we could do at the highest level. Some of us, myself included because of our work environment (Healthcare) have to get vaccinated or lose our jobs. And we don't make millions. It's frustrating because these are key players at an important point in the season. If you're not getting vaxed at least take the precautions.

Whatever. I know McD says he respects the players decisions but you know very well his stance on this. Take every measure and precaution to make yourself available for the games and your team mates. That's what I know.

Obviously they won't give up on Brown because he's a promising rookie but if Star doesn't play this Monday night I sure as hell hope they get rid of his over paid arse this off season.

Bill B's defensive game plan vs the Bills
billsbackto81 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's the same head shake Dane usually sees on a double move before the receiver blows right by him.π In all seriousness they're gonna go hard after Jackson and will probably draw a PI or two. Hope the young man is up for the challenge. This is all about the O line protection. If they can give Josh enough time to get past his first read they should be ok providing the D does their part. -
Christian McCaffrey out for the season

How does an former MVP fall from grace that fast and far? Has the game evolved so much that it's past him by? I never cared for his antics but he did have talent. -
What teams do you fear playing in the PLAYOFFS the most?
billsbackto81 replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any team with a strong O line that compliments a competent running game will be a problem. Any team that plays a competent passing defense will be a problem. Any team that doesn't commit a lot of bone head penalties will be a problem. Any team that's well coached and always on the beneficial side of the referee's whistle will be a problem. In other words, I want no part of the New England Patriots. -
Bills vs Pats: βpound for poundβ teams analysis

Bills D line rotates better. π -
It's this type of crap that gets old. When the Bills were wiping the floor with the Texans, Miami X2, Jets, Washington, and KC for that matter all the excuses about level of competition wouldn't stop. Now NE beats up the Panthers, Browns, Falcons and Jets. Barely beat the Texans and beat up Titans without Henry, Brown and Jones and the talk of Super Bowl doesn't stop. OY!

Tell me who they're playing and I'll give you my answer.

Sound plan. Unfortunately our Blitz packages rarely get home most times. Leaving Jones on 1-1 situations with our current DBs will present a problem. He maybe a rookie but he's accurate and poised enough to find the hot receivers. Better to keep him dinking and dunking and hope we can get to him with our front 4.

He's definitely shown much improvement this season. Noticible burst through the middle and effectively shedding blocks. Wish he had more help from our edge guys. Offense sustained drives against Tennessee, scored 31 and the D still couldn't stop them. Their just not good against power running offenses. The saddest words I heard tonight were from Mike Tirico when he mentioned, ..and that's Addison's team leading 4th sack of the season. 11 games in and your team sack leader has 4.. ππππ

Seriously? Losing your All Pro CB a blessing? Now your #1 CB is an undrafted FA that gets abused by the more physical WRs in the league. I like Wallace, but not as my #1. This is where the lack of acquiring a decent CB before the season really hurts. After watching Dane Jackson get roasted on a double move in Jax on what would've been an ez walk in TD if Lawrence didn't over throw it, I shudder to think what our passing D on the edges will look like. Fingers crossed Tre is ok.

Where did I read this before? Oh I remember now! Posted this last Friday and got flamed a little. billsbackto81 Posted Friday at 05:31 PM I've pretty much gone through these last 2 seasons under the impression that this Defense is more finesse than physical. Playing an "opportunistic" style that hopes and succeeds in creating turnovers. Whether it's mentality or scheme to me is unknown..... Glad somebody else sees it. Gotta work on my rep points I guess. Anyway I'm billsbackto81 and I approve this messageπ

What players are true draft busts under Beane?
billsbackto81 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oliver has been coming on strong as of late and would probably be more productive with a capable pass rusher helping out. -

Taylor is a great back no doubt but you have to think Moss and Motor would have to be more productive with that O line. Ours just blows. -
That's BS! They can generate pressure at times but not enough to disrupt a good offense. Can't stand it when I read posters say," I'd rather have pressure than sacks, pressure causes turnovers". You know what else can cause turnovers? SACKS! Sacks intimidate the QB. Sacks causes the QB pain! Sacks can set up 3rd and long passing situations that can lead to? You guessed it, interceptions. Sacks take teams out of FG range. Sacks keep O lineman on their heels and cause false starts. As good as this D can be at times it does not generate sacks. Give me sacks over pressure any day. And BTW, do you know what the highest degree of QB pressure is? That's right! A SACK!!

I think we can all do with a lot less Addison. He's absolutely a waste of roster space and nothing good ever transpires when he's on the field. I want to see more AJ and Boogie at this point.
