  1. Remember the good ol' days when Ralph Wilson and Mike Brown (Bengals) would do battle as to see who can field a team with the most cap space available😂 I'm not expecting much as far as "splash" acquisition. I expect Beane and McD to again sign competent vet players to fill positions of need while hoping they nail the draft.
  2. Not a bad joke. 😋
  3. Meh.... He's had very good QBs in Carr and Prescott. They may not be on Josh's level but are good nonetheless. To me it appears to be motivation or lack thereof. Like many in pro sports, once he got paid the fire and heart greatly diminished.
  4. Me too. It's what he doesn't do that ruffles my feathers.
  5. That AFCW is gonna be blood soaked come playoff time.
  6. I know there have been a handful but how often do you hear the term "generational player" when it comes to punters.😂
  7. Then cut the following year.
  8. I'm a datil creamed corn man myself.☺
  9. Kinda agree with this. You never know with WR's. 18 WR's were taken before Diggs in 2015 and many of those are history now. This is a very deep draft for receivers, let someone else take the chance.
  10. That's good stuff Hap. I actually appreciate the clarity. Most fans including myself will only go by the face value of a contract. Not many like yourself will do a deep dive into the logistics like amortization and length. If he had played to the level that earned him that deal instead of pooping the bed it would've been digestible. But alas, its time for Mongo to ride off into the sunset. Happy Trails!!
  11. 3 years for 14.4 mil Apparently someone other than Bills fans thought he was a tough, starter quality guard. You're right as far as good riddance. Just because he was better than the trash that was in place doesn't make him a starting caliber player.
  12. Why is it everytime FA is about to start I feel like Beane is at Wal-Mart standing over the DVD clearance bin rummaging through jewel cases trying to find a bargain. Our team is really close and windows don't stay open very long. Take a chance like the Rams and acquire difference makers to get us over the top. 10-15 years from now nobody's gonna remember how well you managed the cap. What we will remember and cherish is that year we finally got that Lombardi in the trophy case.
  13. He also said to Jerry.... Remember, it's not a lie if you believe it's true.
  14. This is proof positive that today's drugs are much stronger than they were 30 years ago.
  15. Meh..... Take that money and put it towards Chandler Jones. We need proven players that are difference makers. We have enough jags.
  16. I don't know, they seem pretty even to me but I'd give the edge to Trubisky on experience and familiarity with Daboll albeit just a year.
  17. I would think that's exactly the type of player they'd be interested in. We seem to have plenty of them as it is. ☺
  18. Are they picking up half his contract? Uh,... That's a no for me dawg.
  19. Engram>Rudolph That being said, Rudolph is probably the better fit and more affordable option.
  20. Don't even whisper the name.
  21. I wouldn't mind it personally. Loved Fitz as a player and he's a more than a capable back up/ spot starter. This is one situation Fitz can't come in and outplay a player of Josh's caliber and I'm not one for curses. Fan favorite, solid back up, locker room presence and an overall hilarious dude. Plus he's one of those players you cheer for to win a ring. Wouldn't mind at all
  22. Classic "Napoleon" Complex
