  1. Man that's rough. If you have to fine a player why can't it be a certain percentage of their game check instead of a fixed rate for the infraction. 5k plus on Levi Wallace is painful for someone making 1 mil per. If you'd fine Jalen Ramsey 5k he'd probably laugh it off. Seems like the right call by rule.
  2. When he's healthy his game is tailor made for this defensive scheme. Fits his skill set to a Tee.
  3. No, cant see it. Only 2 great seasons and only yielded 5 TD's in each. Only 10 games played the last 2 seasons. You want to say "one of the best" in the game today, OK. But All Time Great? Nah! The body of work just isn't there. Great player though when healthy. JMHO of course. To me in no particular order it's: Gonzalez Gronk Kelce Sharpe Gates Witten
  4. Lets not forget also that this will be Heinieke's first road game in front of what should be a loud and hostile fan base. Hopefully the 12th man becomes a major factor.
  5. It'll be a rainy day when someone questions your references again.πŸ˜‚
  6. And one of the prettiest and tightest spirals anybody ever put on a footaball.
  7. I've always like Darnold and thought he'd be a solid NFL starter. Being drafted by an inept franchise with no help didn't help his development. I don't think he'll ever be elite but with talent around him I feel he's every bit as good as guys like Tannehill, Bridgewater, Winston, Wentz and Cousins.
  8. You don't put a season like 2020 together and then all of a sudden forget how to play QB. Josh hasn't been awful but when compared to last season he is coming up short. I'd sooner give credit to the defensive adjustments teams have made to make his play less effective. Remember, they're pros and get paid as well. I have no doubt once he gets his anxiousness under control and stops trying to justify his contract on every throw he'll be fine. Their others to blame as well on offense, not just Josh. Daboll's playcalling has been a little head scratching and the O Line play has been less than stellar.
  9. With all their talent on the field Pitt only scored 16 offensive points but WFT is gonna score 20 with Heinke and one legitimate WR? They might score 14 if their lucky. This will most likely be Josh's breakout game.
  10. He will cost us victories if this continues. He holds the ball very low to the ground when he winds up. Kinda like a pitcher who brings his arms up over his head when delivering a pitch. Fine for baseball not so much for punting. Too much time wasted especially if kicking deep on your side of the field.
  11. Dawson Knox: Yeah I said it! 6 catches on 7 targets. Big 3rd down catches and a TD Motor: Yeah I said that too!! On pace for over 1200 yards, 6.4 ypc , 5 first down runs and a TD Taron Johnson: The kid can rush the passer, stick the rusher and cover the slot. Thumper who plays with no regard for his health. I can dig it! Milano: Probably the most versatile defensive player we have playing at a Pro Bowl level. Remember when people thought 11 Mil per was too much for him? 🀣 Diggs: Gonna be hard to match last season but he's still the best WR we have and has to be accounted for at all times.
  12. I think the league should pay him to conduct tutorials on how to properly put a clean yet impactful hit on a QB. Textbook hit and a thing of beauty.
  13. I salute all the posters who were adamant in their belief that the secondary (in particular Levi Wallace) would be significantly better in coverage once the D line got consistent pressure on the QB. The results so far have been obvious and impressive. Take a bow!
  14. If I were Lamar right now if the Ravens offered 5 years 75mil w/ 20 guaranteed you run (which is his specialty BTW) and sign it. He's a great athlete but he's not a franchise QB.
  15. Tannehill would be unemployed without Henry.
  16. Milano has been amazing in coverage, run support and pass rush. Motor is on pace for over 1200 yards Hyde and Poyer are money together. Rousseau and AJ look solid and bring constant pressure. Defense as a whole look quite impressive so far.
  17. Taunting has been a penalty for quite a while now. It's a judgment call by the refs now which I'm not crazy about because some players get away with it more than others. Wasn't crazy about the call on Levi but it was correct. You can't flex standing directly over a player on the ground. He should've known better. I must admit he played well today and I'm one of his biggest detractors.
  18. He's a good player. I stopped counting after 23x.πŸ˜‚ Just beat me to itπŸ‘
  19. And IIRC our last lost to Miami came on a dropped TD by Charles Clay that would've won it. πŸ˜‚
  20. Damn it! I should've carried Ο€ to the highest power and divided it with the Pythagorean theorem. πŸ˜‚ My bad! I'll get my calculator out and correct it.
  21. Spot on. A lot like Wallace. I wouldn't rush into a contract though. Like many players he plays better with a lead and teams are forced to pass. He's physical but does get toasted quite often.
  22. Well said. You're not always gonna have your A game. Pitt lost to the Raiders at home today. We could easily be 2-0.
  23. 91-26 That's the point differential between Buffalo and Miami the last 2 games they've played. 65 freaking points!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  24. Can't remember the last time I was disappointed in our offense after such a dominating shut out. BTW: That was the " business decision" Moss we want to keep seeing.
