  1. ZEROVOLTZ DEEEEEEEP SLEEPERS.... Demarcus Acy - CB - Missouri .....he was on alot of radars headed into 2019 season...and did not have a good year...competely dissappeared of alot of draft lists.....he's stil 6'1 with 4.5 speed....reminds me ALOT of Charvarious Ward Michael Divinity - LB - LSU .....was productive when he played..didn't see the field much this past year due to suspension and injury....overshadowed by so many other LSU players....has red flags..but there is talent there....and super long arms. Kevin Dotson - OL - Louisiana .....didn't get invited to the combine and should have....going to make some team very happy....immense strength. AJ Green - CB - Oklahoma State.....another 6--2 guy that has ball skills and enough speed to play outside.... Akeem Davis Gaither - LB - Appalachian State....an Isiah Simmons type skill set that you can get 3 rounds later. McTelvin AGim - DL - Arkansas ......kid was fairly productive for some BAD Arkansas Squads.....
  2. MODS - Move or delete if this isn't something worthwhile here. I have been a memeber of a Broncos message board called orangemane for a while now, and they do an annual mock draft where each NFL team has a designated board memeber make selections. I am sure there is probalby something similar here and in alot of other places...Thought I would post the results here if anyone is interested to see yet another of what must be 100's of mock drafts. You can get an idea of what other folks think the Bills might have in mind who aren't hard core Bills fans. I can tell you that the drafter for the Bills in this draft is from Western New York but is a Broncos fan..so he may at least hear some of the chatter in the area about the Bills. Anyhow....here it is through 200 selections. I've highlighted the Bills selections as well as listed them at the top here. 2-22(54) Terrell Lewis LB Alabama 3-22(86) Zach Moss RB Utah 4-22(128): Tanner Muse S Clemson 5-21(167): Jauan Jennings, WR, Tennessee 6-09(188): Buffalo - Jack Driscoll, OL, Auburn Round 1 1-01(01): Cincinnati (Agamemnon) - Joe Burrow, QB, LSU 1-02(02): Washington (Big Cheeze) - Chase Young, DE, ohio 1-03(03): Detroit (Conklin) - Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson 1-04(04a): Miami (Carmelo15) - Jeffrey Okudah CB, ohio 1-05(05): Miami (Carmelo15) - Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama 1-06(06): LA Chargers (PRBronco) - Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa 1-07(07): Carolina (bpc) - Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville 1-08(08): Arizona (ludo21) - Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama 1-09(09): Jacksonville (-Rod-) - Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn 1-10(10): Cleveland (phibacka31) - Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia 1-11(11): NY Jets (jebures) - Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama 1-12(12): Las Vegas (balero) - CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma 1-13(13): San Francisco (NickstiXXX) - Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina 1-14(14): Tampa Bay (socalorado) - Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama 1-15(15): Denver (JCMElway/DBroncos4life) - Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama 1-16(16): Atlanta (Arkie) - K’Lavon Chaisson, LB, LSU 1-17(17): Dallas (lukeb5533) - CJ Henderson, CB, Florida 1-18(18a): NY Giants (Shananahan) - A.J. 3. ......KC will have to pay Mahomes soon......but it's not a pending disaster. Most of the core is under contract throught 2021, and there is PLENTY of cap space ahead....just not this year.... Regarding Watkins..... before he re-signed, he was on the third year of his 3 year deal here (in KC) and had a cap hit of 21 Million for 2020. If he were cut, we would have saved 14 million against the cap and carried 7 million dead money. Here is what happend. There was a mutual interest for Sammy to be in KC for 2020, but not at a 21 million cap hit. Essentially what happend was, he was cut, and then re-signed. KC is still carrying the 7 million cap hit, and his new deal has a base salary of 9 million. Instead of counting 21 Million against the cap now, Sammy is for all intents and purposes, a 16 Million dollar cap hit now. ....Saving the team 5 million while retaining Watkins services for the 2020 season. Another way to think of it from KC perspective is...cutting Watkins and having 7 million in dead cap...PLUS signing a veteran WR would have cost X. What would that have been? Maybe X+7 million would have equaled 13 Million or 14 Million....and maybe the guy you sign isn't quite as good as Watkins....so ultimately, X+9 Million = 16 Million and you have Watkins for another year. KC will now have the entire starting offense back from 2019. That in and of itself isn't that big a deal, but when you consider that teams can't do OTA's, etc....you have the entire offense, with Ried and Mahomes...that all know the playbook...have all played together for years now, and they are all back again after winning the SB. That is a significant advantage. ....and a few other Chiefs notes....they are a Bashaud Breeland signing away from having everyone back on D that took 50% or more of the snaps at each position. Last note on Watkins, I dont think he's elite etc...but he DOES matter...KC's offense has better numbers with him as opposed to without him....I think if I am correct, KC has only lost 4 games Watkins started.
  4. Watson is a good QB. .....Might not be a popular take...but he just dropped several spots in my mind for sending out a cryptic rhyme. Either come and and clearly state publicly that you think the direction of the team is BS....or do it privately....don't be a passive agressive baby and do it this way. Same with Cam Newton. Are these guys in Jr. High still? Approach this like a man!
  5. ....Josh Allen and the playoff Bills are pretty compelling....I wouldn't rule it out.
  6. It looks like one of those logos that Nintendo football would use because they couldn't get the actual NFL licensing rights to the real rams logo. UGH.
  7. 610 Sports Radio in Kansas City is reporting KC @ Miami will be in London.
  8. Bills trade a 3rd to Washington for Trent Williams.....and select RB from Wisconsin with first round pick. (agian, not what I would do, but this would be BOLD)
  9. Something to think about here...... It's a deep draft. It stands to reason A LOT of teams will want to trade back for more picks etc...but in a market where so many teams are looking to trade back, and so few looking to trade up.....there could be value in moving up instead. Follow me for a moment here. Let's say you are.....Green Bay at 30 (just a random team) and you feel that there are a ton of guys at 35-50 who are all about the same and you'd like to move back. ......You need a partner or 2 who'd want to move up. If you can't find that market, then you aren't moving down.....So, the Packers, if they are intent on moving down in this case, would probably be willing to trade back for less than the chart value etc....because all the teams want to move back for picks and no on wants to move up. Hopefully I am making my point with the example, wich is.....in a year like this, there is value in MOVING UP. It may well be a bargain if you want to go up, instead of back. If you believe in the value of picks and you believe in targeting your guy.....this is a great year to be on the hunt to move up.....because it shouldn't be that costly.
  10. I think the point here isn't really about the coach or GM, but because ownership has given the staff a "Win NOW" ultimatum, the Lions have removed the possibility of taking Tua, from the equation.....because the GM and coach, acting in their own interests, aren't taking a QB at 3 who they'll never benefit from. The fans and owners COULD though. Good ownership would recognize that there is an oppertunity here to try and break the cycle of losing by possibly obtaining a franchise altering QB (I'm not saying TUA is or isn't) Bad ownership limits the best TEAM options by doing things like this. ........not saying Pegulas are bad owners.....but their wonky handling of changing out the coach and front office in 2017 created a situation where the option to draft a QB in round 1, was off the table by the time draft day came around.
  11. I think it's important to note here the both the coach and GM in Detroit were given THIS YEAR to win or they're out. They aren't taking Tua. Maybe all a smoke screen to entice someone to move up to 3...but if Detroit is at three it won't be Tua. GM and Coach need help now, not later.
  12. @Aussie Joe hit on it already....the Patriots have played ALOT of extra games over the last 2 decades...they are fine. I want to touch on "player safety" .....I call BS on that. If the concern here was for the safety of players, then you have them play ZERO games of pro football. It's a rough, dangerous, phyiscaly game that exacts a toll on the player. Everyone knows that going into the deal. No one is forcing anyone to play football, and if you agree to go out and play the game, there is X number of dollars that you'll be paid. Just about everyone who is capable of playing pro football, make the choice to accept the possible consequences. That's not to say effort shouldn't be made to find better helmets or consider different ways to do things....but "player safety" is just a negotiating term. Football by it's nature is unsafe...they are negotiating to play an unsafe game. It's really.....the NFL wants to add a 17th game, wich will make them more money...and in excahnge for the players agreeing to it...we'll ease up marijana testing, and share more of the pie. That's what it comes down to......player safety? whatever. Third....I mentioned here a long time ago when it came up....and the media has said so...and it's been said in this thread as well.....the 17th Game would be a non division game at a nuetral site. Most correctly point out that it really allows for more international games....but I think the idea of nuetral site is brilliant on the part of the NFL. As it has gotten more difficult to get people to pay for expensive tickets at stadiums when you can stay home.....especially if your team sucks.....then have a game at a big college stadium....it would sell out due to the novelty of it....and in alot of places, fans that have a hard time making the trek, might go if it's closer to home.... Examples....and you could do a ton of these before you ran out combos and places to play Denver VS Seattle, Boise Idaho. Cleveland VS Detroit, Ann Arbor Michigan. Chicago VS Indianapolis from South Bend. Kansas City VS. Minneapolis from Lincoln, NE Dallas VS Chargers from Albequeque New Orleans VS Miami from Tuscaloosa Buffalo VS NY Giants ....(you guys tell me...Carrier Dome, West Point...Yankee Stadium....IDK!) Philly VS Pitt from Happy Valley Redskins VS Baltimore from Blacksburg, VA Tampa VS Tennesee from Athens, GA San Francisco VS Cincy from Tokyo Houston VS LA Rams from Salt Lake City Or, as a KC fan....just these possibilities alone are interesting KC Vs Chicago in St. Louis KC Vs Dallas from Fayetteville, AR KC Vs Minnesota in Iowa City, IA And so many others. You rotate these around all over the place.....you tell me that a game between KC and Dallas in Fayettevill wouldn't sell out or be a big draw in TV? It's like printing money.....and staying engaged with out of town fans. And...Buffalo...I don't know the area....but as far as regional fan engagement....what would you do? Toronto? Montreal? Syracuse? Erie? I am sure there are places Bills fans would travel to or who live in the area and would go to a game every other year or 2 or 3.
  13. That was fast. Harris makes the routine catch look incredibly difficult, but then will snag something you think no one can catch. He's also plays special teams....not surprised the Bears snatched him up as fast as they could....they didn't have a TE break 100 yards for the season last year. (yes, I typed that right.)
  14. KC has the following players under contract THROUGH 2021 (2 more seasons) Hill Kelce Mathieu Clark Fisher Schwartz Hitchens Hardman Butker Okafor Thornhill Nhadi Saunders D Thompson ....Mahomes. That's most of the core. Starting QB, WR, WR, OT, OT, TE, MLB, S, S, DT, DT, K...and possibly RB. Chris Jones is the one long term guy we don't have done at this time (and maybe they'd like Charvarious Ward to sign long term, but he's under contract through 2020) That's ALOT of star power already accounted for, no matter what they do with Mahomes.
  15. 1. I agree KC will almost certainly be taking a CB. 2. I have only one issue with this draft. Miami, with a ton of draft capital, and needing a QB, aren't going to be cut in line by the Chargers. Miami is going to come away from this with their guy, probably trading up to 3 to make sure they get him. The Raiders, also, have all but kicked Derek Carr to the curb...have a tone of draft capital, and I can see them moving up to 4, ahead of the Chargers, to take Herbert...
  16. My first Mock...pre fre agency...pre good rumors...pre alot. This includes trades. Green is a trad up. Red is trade down/extra pick gained from trade down. 1. Bengals QB Joe Burrow Ultimately, the best QB available goes 1. 2. Redskins EDGE Chase Young Turn down calls and take can't miss edge. 3. DOLPHINS QB Tua Tagavioloa Miami trades up to ensure they get Tua here. They have the capital to make it happen. 4. RAIDERS QB Justin Herbert The Radiers also have alot of draft captial and swoop in ahead of the Chargers for Herbert 5. LIONS CB Jeff Okudah Detroit reaps the benefit of a trade down and still land their guy 6. Chargers OT Jedrick Wills Chargers miss out on the early QB derby, get OT they need instead. 7. Panthers DT Derrick Brown Ultimately Cam Newton is back in the fold and the Panthers add to the D. 8. Cardinals WR CeeDee Lamb Cardinals get WR1 of the present and future. Pass up OT to do so. 9. Jaguars DT Javon Kinlaw Replaces departing talent on the line that the Jags don't have cap room to keep. 10. Browns OT Andrew Thomas Browns get the replacement at LT for Joe Thomas they’ve been missing 11. Jets WR Henry Ruggs In a bit of surprise, Ruggs is first WR off the board. Combo of speed, effort, good combine land him here. 12. GIANTS WR Jerry Juedy Giants trade down, still land big time WR they need for Jones. 13. Colts EDGE K 'Lavon Chaisson Colts miss out on QB derby, don't like Love...take edge rusher they are missing on D. 14. Buccaneers S Xavier McKinney Buccs need help in the secondary, especially at S. This fills a hole. 15. Broncos ILB Isiah Simmons Denver lucks out and Simmons falls into their lap at 15. Fangio gets the ILB he needs to QB his defense. 16. EAGLES WR Jalon Reagor Eagles, needing WR perhaps more than any team in this draft, move up ahead of Dallas for Reagor. 17. Cowboys CB CJ Henderson Dallas wanted Reagor, but opt for Byron Murphy's replacement here instead 18. Dolphins OL Mehki Becton This pick wasn't part of the deal with Detroit. Miami gets a replacement for Tunsil here 19. GIANTS OL Tristan Wirfs Giants trade out nets them Juedy AND new starting LT. 20. Jaguars CB Trevon Diggs Jags take Jalen Ramsey's replacment here. 21. FALCONS EDGE AJ Epenesa Falcons need help with the pass rush. 22. BILLS WR Tee Higgins Big target for Josh Allen and his cast of smurfs. 23. CHARGERS QB Jordan Love Pats find a partner to trade out with. Chargers get their QB of the future…and local kid to boot. 24. Saints LB Patrick Queen Local guy, fills void of cap cuts at LB. 25. Vikings CB CJ Hendrson Vikings move on from Xavier Rhodes and this guy helps fill the void. 26. LIONS EDGE Zack Baun Detroit adding major pieces to the D with their trade out…get CB and Edge rusher in round 1. 27. Seahawks EDGE Curtis Weaver A bit of a surprise here, but Seattle doesn’t re-sign Clowney, and finds his replacement here. 28. Ravens S Grant Delpit Having let their starter at safety go due to cap, they draft a replacement here. 29. Titans RB D’Andre Swift Having prudently moved on from king Henry, the titans draft his young, cheap replacement. 30. Packers WR Laviska Shenault After Dvonte Adams, the Packers WR corps is crap. 31. 49ers CB Kristian Fulton 49ers secondary was exposed by KC, New Orleans..they attempt to address that here. 32. CHIEFS CB Bryce Hall KC will lose all but 2 Corners in FA and will need to replenish that with draft picks starting with this one.
  17. If the price is right, KC will want Harris back.
  18. While Jones would help any team....I really do think you've got a Chris Jones/Aaron Donald on the roster with Ed Oliver. Seems like you guys could use an edge rusher
  19. Just some info for this topic. Jones is a FA, but KC isn't going to just let him walk. Both sides would like to get a deal done, but the cap may make that possibility remote at best. In the event they can't work something out, KC isn't just letting Jones walk. They will tag and trade....and probably to an NFC team in that case. Tampa Bay would right up at the top of the list in that case.
  20. It would still be Miami in the east...you can get direct flights from Miami, New York and Boston to London......not Baltimore.
  21. Alot here to get to. but first. The Chargers aren't leaving LA....their deal there is too damn sweet....even if they don't sell any tickets, they'll make money. Shad Khan, as you suggest with his investments in JAX, may well never officially relocate to London.....there are logistics, as well as legal and tax implications that complicate things...and it's a possibility that maybe they play some games in JAX and some in LONDON. Or....of course they may well stay in Jax after all said and done. Regarding the 17th game........IF they get that concession there is a TON....a staggering payload of revenue to be made by the NFL...and here is how they'd do it. ALL teams would have to play at least 1 neutral site game every year so their home/away advantage would remain equal. ......and those neutral sites would be places like Birminham, AL or Lincoln, NE....Boise, Idaho....Albequerque........so for example...Seattle VS Denver in Boise Idaho. That game sells out...at a premium price...Atlanta VS Baltimore, from Birmingham, or whereever.....again, the game will sell out...premium ticket price.....and the 17th game on the schedul is jsut that much more they can ask for in a TV deal. ....probably they'd throw in a 2nd Bye ....so that extends the season..(and TV schedule) another week....so 18 weeks of regular season TV....that's mizzzillions more in TV revenue.....and millions in extra ticket sales for regular season NFL games at neutral sites.....and of course those neutrals could also be internationals...London, Berlin, Mex City, Brazil......etc etc. China is too far....my wife is from 'nam. That trip is long and once you get into nam, getting anywehre beyond Saigon is rough. I understand what you mean about travel there.
  22. ....so the Jags are playing 2 home games in London this year. It's just the next step in them becoming the "London" Jags permanently. The reason why I posted it has more to do with Buffalo than London. I saw somewhere on the internet that when/if the Jags do make the move permanently, there will be some realignment. The NFL won't want the London Jags in the AFC south. They will want them in the AFC east with flights to/from London out of Boston, New York and Miami. The alignment I saw suggested that the AFC EAST would be : London New York New England Miami AFC SOUTH Tennessee Houston Indy Cincinnatti AFC NORTH Pittsburg Cleveland Baltimor BUFFALO. Would Bills fans accept it? Would your new and closer division rivals be compelling, or would it be crap that you lose the Patirots/Jets/Dolphins as division rivals? I can't help but think IF (I said IF...the word IF) IF it came to it....the owners would probably be able to make this happen. I don't think Mike Brown has any kind of clout to stop it....and would think the if the Pegulas protested, they might not have any allies to prevent this. Your thoughts?
  23. ......the first thing you have to do is decide if Joe Burrow is a "franchise" QB. ....IF the Bengals think that's who he is, there should not be any amount of draft capital that could be offered that you'd ever accept in exchange for that. QB is the hardest position in team sports to fill. If you can get the rare guy that lifts up everyone around him and makes you a contender year in and year out for 15 years, you don't trade that guy or his draft rights. ONLY if the Bengals evaluate Burrow and determine that he isn't that guy....then the bounty they get for that pick, plus the potential to take one of the other QB still as an option, would be smart. .....either way, the Bengals really need to be right about this pick. Think of it like this.....the Sh*t show that is the Bengals, was a winning team and was a contender when they had Carson Palmer. The right QB does that. Then look at teams that got bounties of picks they took when another team traded up for a QB.....history shows you take the QB.
  24. ....not trying to say the crowd was as good or better for this over what we had for the Royals...but in 2015 for the Royals...the estimated crowd was larger than the actual population of the city. If you haven't been to KC, the area where both of these are, can contain a very large number of people on the ground.....if all anyone, me included, had ever seen was just the Chiefs crowd.....it's a very large crowd for a city as small as KC is.....Parade estimated attendence was 800K. KC population is 455 K......and KC has the biggest sq mile city limits in the US (or is 2nd behind Jacksonville) ....I'm sure more would turn out for a Bills title.....I hope you all get a chance to attend a parade like this.
  25. Parade route for this was twice as long so a lot more people spread out....and bad weather.
