  1. Never healthy....and for what you pay the guy....it's not worth the money...he just misses to much time....he's a better fit on an up and coming team with a young QB who needs target to rely on to run precise routes etc....not so much on a team aleady loaded.....money would have been better spent....on.....O line.
  2. 1st Blythe....If KC carries 9 O lineman...he'd be the 9th one...I suppose that's probalby likely as I thikn they'd rather not ever have to move Thuney to C. I should have included him in my write up. 2nd...that JAGS and their replacements... Lets start with Kpassonagno. I was pretty exicted when they drafted him (same class as Mahomes) I thought they'd coach him up into something really great...he's a beast of man, that just is not and is never gong to be an instinctual football player. This is problaby still the biggest hole on the roster as it now sits...KC drafted Josh Kaindoh in the 4th round....that is NOT a day 1 starter/answer to replace Kpass....Kaindoh is a project type in his own right. KC has Mike Danna (a 5th round pick last year) who is more or less a JAG...and they have some guys who are undersized Defensive tackle types that are miscast as ends, but can play out there in Khalen Saunders and Tershawn Wharton. If the season started today......Chris Jones would play DE on one side, and Clark on the other....the Jaron Reed signing allows for that to happen. Basically, Kpass left and will be replaced by another JAG or JAGS, and/or Chris Jones on the outside quite a bit. Something to watch for...Jones is an effective end when he's been used there. Baushaud Breeland....started the season with a 4 game suspension....he has a reputation as a guy who enjoys his weed (I don't care) ....so maybe that's why he's not signed...perhaps there is another suspension coming we dont' know about yet....KC has been reported to be interested in having him back. He remains an effective outside cover corner when on the field and fits what KC likes to do...I'd love to have him back if he's not going to be suspended etc. That said...as of now he isn't on the roster. KC did NOT draft a CB in this draft....they LOVE La'Jarious Sneed...led all rookie DB in alot of stuff....and was very effective all over the field and showed he could blitz....if you haven't heard of him yet...you will...he's LEGIT. ...so Sneed, Charvarious Ward on the other side again...Rashad Fenton, who has been pretty good so far...plus Honey Badger, Thornhill and Sorenson all back again at Safety. One of the deepest groups on the team, we can handle losing Breeland. Damien Wilson. A Jag when he was signed....played like a Jag....unspectacular player....never really could say he was mistake prone or anything...just never made any big plays....and was not good in coverage. a JAG if there ever was one. They drafted Willie Gay Jr in round 2 last year....started workign him onto the field more and more as the season went along..he DID show playmaking and coverage ability....and he will start there this year....almost certainly an upgrade. And then there is Watkins. I have never understood why KC poured the resources they did into this guy...Mahomes makes your 3rd, 45h and 5th targets look great as is...Watkins didn't bring anything to the group we didn't already have....and the 1st and 2nd guys in the pecking order Hill and Kelce are already bonafide stars. The RB group is supposed to eat up a good share of targets...and then you have the otehr WR's. KC won't notice Watkins is gone...and the guy they did draft....won't start, and won't make an impact this year..but he's in the pipeline.....for this year...Look for Byron Pringle to be the "Sammy Watkins" role player in this years offense...similar size and speed....but contract way way different....same result. Hope this was helpful.
  3. This is a KC Chiefs tradition....we have played some games WAY WAY too close against teams like Detroit (a game we frankly should have lots) and Carolina...a game that Carolina attempted a 69 yard FG to win the game on the last play.....that was long enough.....but just wide right.... it's a decades long tradition....and KC also tends to play up to competition as well....like when 0-12 KC beat 12-0 GB a good while back... Just to clarify a bit more. KC's line for super bowl LT - Mike Remmers LG - Nick Allegretti C - Autin Reiter RG - Steve Wisneiski RT - Andrew Wylie Remmers was supposed to be the 2nd string RT Allegrettis was the backup C, and 3rd string OG Rieter was the no.1 C Wisnieski was a street FA brought in for the playoffs as depth Wylie was the starting RG, moved to RT. Even with the line healhty, KC was ranked 31st in RUN win rate in the NFL....they've sucked since Morse left to go to the Bills. Projected Line for 2021 LT - Orlando Brown LG - Thuney C - Humphrey RG - One of Trey Smith, Kyle Long or LDT RT - One of Lucas Niang, Kyle Long or Mike Remmers If KC carries 8 or 9 O line men...that will probably be....Brown, Thuney, Humphry, Smith, Niang, (my projected starters.) Then Long, versatile backup, LDT, his cap hit is high..and Remmers...backup OT. If Humphrey got hurt, Thuney would slide to Center, and Long would play guard. If Niang was hurt, that would be Remmers...if Brown hurt, Long or Remmers. and if Long was being used elsewhere and anotehr inury occured, LDT woudl be OG. LDT would be cut, but his cap hit is too much..so he survies. Anyhow....ONLY Remmer looks to even be around from the line that started in the SB...and he's going to end up being the backup RT again, where he belongs. We wont know until we see it on the field...but htis line is the best line KC has probably had in a long time...and almost certainly will be far and away the best line Mahomes had ever had. KC has also been a horrible short yardage and goal line team due to inability to be a threat to run....this should open the playbook back up some. Kpass was very much a JAG. Okafor was very much a JAG. KC had ok pass rush numbers, but it was because we blitzed quite a bit....not because of pressure from ends. Breeland was let go...hasn't signed....and rumors are, KC and he might hook up once again on one year deal. KC loosly rumored to possibly sign Justin Houston as well. Wilson at LB.....very much a JAG. Willie Gay, made quite a few flash plays in limited snaps last year in his place..he will start (last years 2nd round pick) It will be un upgrade for less money. KC's defensive playmakers remain on the roster.... Chris Jones, Honey Badger, La Jarious Sneed. KC was 7-0 and scored 33.0 pts per game when Sammy Watkins didn't play. He was not a key part of the offense.
  4. I think that the Bills should have tried to get one of the 3 down type dynamic RB that were at the top of this draft. I know it was rumored they liked Ettienne...but I think Williams would have been really good in Buffalo. Either way...YES...I do think the Bills should have actively pursued Ettienne, Najee Harris or Williams. .....and your memory is serving you mostly well...I don't think my comments here about Allen would be considered "ridicule"....but if you mean that I was critical of that pick and that I thought Allen would fail, then yes...you would be correct.
  5. I used to really enjoy draft "grades" right after a draft was completed....but I've come to understand that grading these right after they happen is a fools errand. That said....from the outside looking in....looking at the Bills as team that will compete with mine for the AFC title.....I don't think this draft went that well for the Bills. Again...this is all just my own opinion....I don't know your team as well as you all do so I am sure I am missing some information about your roster etc ...but I thought that the Bills would go into this draft looking for opertunities to upgrade the pass rush, the TE position, and the RB position. I also thought Interior D line might come into play as well, but not the most pressing need. It seemed like the RB's that the Bills might have wanted, just kept getting picked a few spots in front of Buffalo. I am almost positive the Broncos moved up in round 2 to get in front of you guys for Williams. Some of you folks here liked Michael Carter of NC, better than Williams, and the Jets ended up with him. It's not to say Singletary and Moss aren't good backs....but they aren't home run hitters. I thought maybe the Bills might take a shot at Friermuth when the time came..or maybe one of the later guys like Breven....but no TE taken. I am not familiar with your O line situation, but clearly you all added some guys there. I have no idea how this will turn out...the two DE's may be awesome....or maybe one of this....maybe this turns you all into a fearsome pass rushing machine and Beane got it right.....He's been right quite a bit since he's beein there...so certainly I'd defer to whatever he did and trust it......all I am saying is I'm not sure these picks move the needle that much....or enough to take the next step.
  6. Allow me to shed some light on this situation. first....Elways is NOT the GM now. He is still in the front office, but he announced he will be moving on after this year. Ok.....context is very much needed here. At the end of the season.....Elway, still GM at that point....announced that the entire coaching staff would be RETAINED. After a while, Elway then announced he was stepping down as GM, and would stay in the front office for just one more year..and that he was hiring a GM. After a search and interview, the Broncos hired George Paton...former Vikings assistant GM...to be the new Broncos GM.....Paton was informed that he must retain the staff for 2021. Paton was also given a SIX year contract...not 5....but 6. Paton, being unable to change the coaching staff....and having inherited a staff with a "win now or else" ultimatum....Denver was NEVER going to be in the QB market this draft year. Paton is NOT taking a QB high, and then turning that player over to a coaching staff that won't want anything to do with him. Furthermore, I am sure Paton would like the input, and solidarity with his HC about drafting a new QB...you don't do that with Vic Fangio...a D minded HC, who is in a win now year. Paton will wait to see how this year plays out, and most likely, after firing Fangio..and moving on from Lock and Bridgewater next year...Paton will hire a coach, they will evaluate the QB's and THEN Denver will be in the QB market.... The moment Elway gave the staff a win now year....that was all you needed to know about Denver being in this QB market this draft... SAME AS IN 2018.....Elway gave Vance Joseph and his staff an ultimatum to "win or else". They drafted Bradley Chubb...a very Win now type player....instead of Josh Allen. Elway wasn't drafting Allen and then giving that kid to a staff that wouldn't want anything to do with him. And though not exactly the same...but similar to 2017 Buffalo, where the Pegulas hired McD...but hadn't hired McBeane yet...McD wasn't comfortable going QB in that draft in large part becasue he wanted input from whoever the GM would be and wanted to have complete and full evaluations, and everyone on the same page....wich Buffalo HAD in 2018 when they took Allen.
  7. https://twitter.com/hamilton2r/status/1342939358312198145?s=21 https://twitter.com/hamilton2r/status/1387357258510651398?s=21 i called it at Christmas time and I called again at 6 am
  8. In no particular order Lawrence - will be good, Baker Mayfield like where he is your QB but not elite. Wilson - will struggle early. Will learn some hard lessons about too much hero ball. Eventually becomes serviceable. Lance - I believe he is going to SF and will be a star there. They will max out his ability. Fields. Put me in the camp that thinks he’s a great athlete that can’t read defenses. Ultimately he will bust Jones. I’m not that impressed. He’d do well on a team that had a strong run game to support him, but I think he ends up as something of a journeyman.
  9. Truly...I am in the camp that believe 1st round RB is too high, and trading up for anything that isn't a QB is problaby a bad idea. Not, the whole Mock...wich is almost entirely my own analysis and thought....but in the Bills trade IS a product of the trade up rumors from today...I wanted to Mock it and see what it might look like. I do realize that 1 and 3 to go from 30 to 19 is bit on the cheap side...but I don't think later round pick in ***This*** draft are worth quite as much since it's covid mania. I could be totally wrong. as you say...it's just a mock. If I were running the Bills myself...I'd try and trade out of 30 and pick up a RB with the extra pick(s) I am not sold that Ettienne is an elite/special type back...though I do like him....just not as much as this mock would indicate. I would only add that given the difficulty evaluating players this year....including getting good medical information on them...Etienne is more of sure thing than most. You'd be paying for a bit of certainty by trading up for him...and you keep him off the Jets. I'd not be entirely shocked if it happend....normallly, I'd be VERY shocked anyone would make such a trade. It will be a wild year...I am sure this Mock will be blown to bits by pick 3.
  10. Hmmmm.....good thing I only did a 2 round mock. ....that said...I'm not nearly has high on Campbell as many here are...I think he's just another guy that fits in with a big grouping of CB that are mocked all over the palce from rounds 2 to 5. There are some gems to be found much later. .....agian, I wouldn't make the move up for the RB....i'm rolling with the rumor of the day...(I think it makes some sense if they like Etienne that much....and since this draft is a huge crapshoot due to Covid...later picks aren't that valuable this year...or as valuable as usual)
  11. Doc, not sure if saw the first MOCK I posted in Gunners thread...but in that one I did have the Bills trading BACK to 40 and taking a RB (Not Ettienne) ....that didn't go over that well. It would be unusual in these analyitcal times, for a team to move up, in round 1 for a RB...but as I said....this is a weird type draft...and in my opinion...the Bills would benefit alot IF they had a star RB. I don't know if Etienne is that guy....but if you believe he is...then I can understand it THIS YEAR. If I were a Bills fan..I'd like the scenario I presented originally much better.... Something else to think about here.....The Panthers did spend a HIGH draft choice on McCaffrey...I don't think it's beyond their process to rule out a RB high if you think he's special. I think Gettleman badly wants to prove he was right about Daniel Jones. I think he will take a top WR to help his QB look better. I do beleive Gettleman is a "trenches" kind of guy, but he also drafted Saquon. It's deep draft and you certainly get a guy to play RT for sure, deep into this draft. ...lol...I am a Chiefs fan....I don't like how I have the Broncos doing in this thing either.
  12. Correcting that now...that's a typo....should have been 1 and 3.
  13. Final Mock of the year....as we've drawn close to the actual draft.....it seems like some things are clear..but mostly, they aren't. Explanations with each pick. I'm sure I'll be utter crucified for this....as I am buying all in on the rumors that the Bills want to move up for Ettienne. 1. Jax QB Trevor Lawrence. It's a forgone conclusion. 2. NYJ QB Zack Wilson. Another nearly forgone conclusion..but what fun it would be if they did something else now. 3. 49ers. QB Trey Lance. This is where the first bit of uncertainty is......alot of pundits, mocks etc have Mac Jones here....I had originally thought so too...but based on the idea that SF wants something more dynamic and the potential to be a game changer....I have concluded that this must be Lance. Lance going here shuts down some trade ups that might have happened for him....Now....watch them take Feilds. 4. Falcons. WR JaMarr Chase I very much had intended to put Pitts here....but Chase is a very very highly regarded WR, a position considered more valuable than TE. I might still be inclined to go with Pitts here, but the Falcons did spend a big chunk on Hayden Hurst last offseason. IF Lance was avaialble here, I do think the Falcons would entertain trades, but I do not think anyone is coming up to 4 to get Mac Jones or Fields. 5. Bengals. TE Kyle Pitts If Chase were on the board here....he would be the pick....but instead the Bengals add a dimension to their O they don't have...a dynamic TE. Many will call this OT Penei Sewell...I believe the Bengals can get a quality OT at the top of R2...but there is no TE like Pitts in this draft. 6. Dolphins. WR Jaylen Waddle Tua Tagaviloa ranked 31st in Intermediate throws. He is not a good downfield passer. Short passing is his game...and if the Dolphins are rolling with Tua...then this is the best help they can get him...a guy that takes short stuff a long way. 7. Lions QB Mac Jones I beleive the Lions have had some time to think about just where they are in this draft and that tommorrow is never promised to anyone.....they are sitting on a spot with 2 Qb available to them..and when a regime is new and in the honeymoon phase..then that is the time to get a QB. I am not buying that even thought the GM is the guy who drafted Goff, that they think he's it. Goff is mediocre and EXPENSIVE. Jones seems like the kind of QB that will execute a knee cap biting attack. 8. Carolina. OT Penei Sewell Carolina would be looking to trade out of this, but with only Justin Feilds left on the board, the trade market to get to 8 isn't very robust. Carolina opts to get Sam Darnold the best LT they can here. 9. Denver. LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah Denver is rumored to "like" Lance, but not love him enough to trade up if he fell to 4 or later. It's moot here. Denver would also prefer a trade out at this point, but with only Fields still on the board, and a trade all the way back to 19 or 20, the Broncos would miss on their man most likely. Many have Parsons here. I belive Denver does like Parsons, but consider his characther AND his inexperience in coverage as liabilities....so they get JOK here, if a little high...he's their guy. 10. Cowboys. CB Patrick Surtain MAYBE they go with Horn here....but Surtain is my guess.....the Cowboys have a huge need at CB AND this is pretty much BPA.... 11. Giants. WR. DeVona Smith Dave Gettleman will never admit he screwed up by taking Daniel Jones...and he's going to give Jones every bit of help he can to prove he was right....Smith represents HELP in a substantial way. 12. Eagles. CB Jaycee Horn The Eagles aren't considering a QB, and the calls for Fields aren't that hot. The Eagles fill a need here. 13. Chargers OT Christian Darrisaw They pass over Rashawn Slater to take Darrisaw, who I see as more of a sure thing at LT than Slater. The Chargers mission 1 in this draft is to get linemen for Herbert. 14. Vikings OT Rashawn Slater The Vikings can't believe Slater falls all the way to 14. He's a perfect fit for hte Vikings as htey have needs at G and T....so Slater will fit and start somewhere. 15. Patriots. LB Micah Parsons Despite rumors and smokescreens, the PATS are NOT in on a QB. Belichick is too old to be developing a new guy...they just spend a ton of money to build a two TE run heavy Option type attack around CAM NEWTON. They aren't changing that up here. Instead Bill gets the super talented LB that he'll find a way to use to wreak havoc. 16. ****TRADE***** Bears ultimately outbid the WFT and move up to select QB, Justin Fields. The Bears FO and coaching staff has somehow been given a mulligan on Trubisky and this is their attempt to redeem themselves. The WFT, a bit sour from the Dwayne Haskins pick....has a sour taste in their mouth for OSU QB's with big numbers and rumors of work ethic issues. 17. Raiders EDGE Azeez Ojulari The Raiders a hot mess and could go a number of directions here....being one of the worst pass rush teams in the NFL for years...and having just now cut a couple failed picks from the recent past...they opt for Ojulari here and hope he can make an instant impact. 18. Phins RB Najee Harris More short range weaponry for the Dolphins bee bee gun attack......and from Alabama. The Dolphins are turning into Tide East. 19. ****TRADE***** The BILLS TRADE UP here to get out in front of the Jets, the Steelers and the Jags to take RB, Travis Ettienne Buffalo sends their 1 and 3 to WFT. In my first Mock...I had the Bills trading out of round 1 and picking a RB...that wasn't popular....so I can't imagine this is going to go over well...but my logic in that draft is the same here...the Bills understand that to beat KC, you are more likely to win that game by outscoring them in an offensive football game, than trying to beat them by hold their score down. The Bills want a dynamic player at RB....Ettienne is that player. The metrics DO NOT like 1st round RB's and trading up in round 1 for one....well that's kind of frowned upon....but lets not forget that Beane and McD also flaunted the metrics when they drafted Josh Allen. Let's also remember this draft is a little different....teams didn't have much of a combine...or a season of tape to look at....and a big thing they also don't ahve are MEDICALS...there are alot of guys floating out there with medical questions that just aren't answered because no one can get a physical look at these guy with med staff. If you are going to expend some resources to go up and get someone you love...this is the draft to do that. I can't wait to get completely FLAMED....burnt to a crisp for this. 20. Cards CB Greg Newsome II If you look at the current players on the Cardinals roster in their secondary....they are priced into this pick. 21. Indy EDGE Kwity Paye Indy needs to replace Justin Houston and his 10 sacks.... 22. Titans WR Kadarious Toney A lot of mocks etc have Rashad Bateman here...I don't see it. Toney is the guy with the juice.....Titans opt for the gamebraker here. 23. Jets. OL Elijah Vera-Tucker No Ettienne on the board here..the Jets instead opt for another O lineman who could start at OG or RT. 24. Steelers CB Caleb Farley The Steeler has some big holes to fill on their O line with the retirment of their C....and needs at OT as well...but they traditionally don't spend high picks on O linemen and instead opt to replace the departing Steven Nelson with Farley..who would be a top 10 player if not for Medicals. The Steelers willing to roll the dice here. 25. Jags. OT Samuel Cosmi. The Jags franchised Cam Robinson....wich gets them by this year...but they can let him walk next season by taking Cosmi as his replacement here. In the mean time, Cosmi can play RT. 26. Browns EDGE Gregory Rousseau The Browns have alot of peices already put together on their roster, but one spot they need is edge. They did sign Clowney to a 1 year deal, but that is a stop gap.... 27. Ravens EDGE Jason Oweh The Raven are not having one of the better off seasons....They roll the dice on a workout warrior guy that didn't actually produce. They hope that changes and he does a good Matt Judon impersonation. 28. Saints WR Terrace Marshall Many have the Saints going corner here...but I have them going with weaponry....I beleive they are high on Marshall and feel they can address the CB spot later. 29. Packers DT Christian Barmore This does fill a minor need...but mostly the Packers go with Barmore here because he is by far the BPA on their board at 29. 30. ****TRADE**** WFT move back from 19 and take OT Tevon Jenkins All the top OT prospects the WFT would have preffered were gone at 19...so they trade back and pick up Jenkins who they hope will eventually be a LT, but for now can play OG or RT. 31. Ravens OC Creed Humphry The Ravens again, plug a big hole here with Humphry.... 32. Buccs EDGE Jaelin Phillips You can't have too many pass rushers. Phillips falls in this draft due to injury and especially CONCUSSION concerns. Buccs have the luxury of rolling dice on him. -------------------------------ROUND 2-------------------------------------------- 33. Jags S Trevon Moehrig Jags opt for best S in this class here, helps fill in for needed secondary depth. 34. Jets EDGE Joseph Ossai Easy to fill holes when your roster is full of them....this is another shot at fixing another muhc needed upgrade at pass rusher. 35. Falcons LB Jamin Davis The Falcons aren't in a complete rebuild, but they do need lots of cheap talent to offset their bad cap situaiton. Davis is BPA. 36. Phins LB Zaven Collins First 2 picks spent on offense...now Miami adds a defender to replace Van Noy 37. Eagles CB Eric Stokes Eagles with back to back CB's....revamping poor secondary. will wait until later to address WR 38. Bengals OT Alex Leatherwood Cincy opted for TE pitts to open up.....and paitence pays off when they get OT they need here at 38. 39. Panthers. WR Rashad Bateman Panthers are thrilled to get Bateman here...BPA on their board and fills a big need. 40. Broncos RB Javonte Williams The Broncos have Gordon, who is getting up in years and at the end of his contract, AT RB..they need a replacment that can do it all in Shurmurs offense...or any offense.... 41. Lions OG Wyatt Davis Injured late in the college season, but the kind of guy who can eat kneecaps 42. Giants EDGE Ronnie Perkins Gettleman spent his 1st choice on a WR for Danny Dimes....he can't hardly wait to make this pick on the D line where he thinks the game is won....he goes for Perkins whose films is really good....but ahs problems VS run game at times and there are some character red flags. 43. 49ers TE Pat Friermuth Wait what? They have Kittle....and now they have Kittle insurance, plus Shannahan can do alot with an H back, 2nd TE in his offense. 44. Cowboys S Richie Grant The Cowboys secondary was awful....this is a major upgrade. 45. Jags CB Asante Samuel Never can have too many good DB. 46. New England OG Trey Smith A possible replacement for Joe Thuney here. 47. Chargers OT Dillon Radunz Played LT at NDSU....but the Chargers will have him on the right side. Chargers continue with mission to build a nice wall in front of Herbert. 48. Raiders OC Landon Dickerson Hot Mess Radiers, having traded away their all pro center because he wanted out of the mess...need to find a new Center...and they get him here. 49. Cardinals LB Jabrill Cox Replacement for the departure of Reddick. Cards are an up and coming team, but still many holes to fill. 50. Phins CB Ifeatu Melifonwu Miami just adding more young, cheap talent here. BPA on their board at this point. 51. WFT WR Elijah Moore WFT missed out on the QB's but still adding some high speed weaponry for Fitz and whoever the QB is next year. 52. Bears OT Liam Eichenberg Bears got their QB....now they try and fix multi hole O line 53. Titans EDGE Carlos Basham Jr. Titans had one of the most pathetic pass rushing defenses in the leauge....they give the instinctive high motor Basham a chance to help. 54. Colts IDL Levi Onwuzurike More trench help for the Colts this is a BPA pick 55. Steelers IOL Quinn Meinerz Steelers rolled the dice on CB while watiing to get Oline help...Meinerz is probalby day 1 OC for them. 56. Seahawks CB Kelvin Joseph Seattle needs help in the secondary and don't have much draft capital...they are thrilled to get Joseph here...BPA on their board. 57. Rams LB Baron Browning Another team with not alot of draft capital....use this BPA pick to shore up a weak spot on the roster. 58. CHIEFS EDGE Joe Tryon Edge rusher with only one season of good production. opted out for Covid....a bit small...but explosive player. KC roster is EDGE deficient...a need pick here. 59. Browns WR Rondale Moore Do it all WR that can also return kicks...brings some explosiveness to Browns passing and gadget game. 60. Saints CB Elijah Molden Saints just filling holes with BPA as best they can due to resetting cap this year 61. BILLS DT Jay Tufele I don't think this will be a very popular pick with Tyson Campbell still on the board here..(who I have seen is a popular pick among Bills fans) My reasoning here...you have Star...who is passed his prime, coming back this year. I suspect he's close to finished...and you have Oliver...who hasn't lived up to his billing thus far. Tufele covers one or both of these guys being roster liablilities in the near term. It's a shallow DT draft and this is one of the better ones availble....this draft has a ton of mid round level CB...including Campbell who may last another round here. 62. Packers WR Dyami Brown Packers finally get a guy with some downfield playmaking ability for Aaron Rodgers.....breaking KC's heart. 63. CHIEFS LB Nick Bolton KC will run into a situation next off season where they will be parting ways with Anthon Hitchens at LB. His replaement isn't on the roster and KC will be spending big money on extensions for Honey Badger and Orlando Brown...that means that MLB has to be cheap labor guy....and Bolton is it. 64. BUCCS QB Kyle Trask Tom Brady really is going to have to retire someday....The Buccs opt for Trask here to see if they get a diamond in the rough who was a prolific passer at Florida.
  14. One more I want to add Tyson Campbell won’t be drafted until round 3 and won’t be among the first 10 CB taken.
  15. The Broncos will not draft a QB day 1. New England will not draft a QB day 1. The Jets and Steelers both take RB in round 1. The Bills stay at 30 and take EDGE Ronnie Perkins.
  16. ......and so you get an Orlando Brown.
  17. I want to point out again because it seems to be misunderstood. KC cut both tackles because BOTH sustained injuries that will likely cause one to retire (Schwartz) and the other to likely miss the entire season (Fisher). Both were in the final years of their deals. There was no reason to absorb the cap hits for both of them as they weren’t playing and their contracts were expiring. We Lost then both to injury, not the cap. Also, Schwartz was lost very early. Duvarnay- Tardiff opted out, his replacement. Osimele, tore up his knee in week 5 and was lost for the year. And it just got worse. KC had 11 different O linemen start at least one game. And by the time KC reached the Super Bowl the starting O line was 3rd string LT, 3rd string RG, 1st string C 2nd string LG, 3rd string RT It wasn’t due to a lack of depth or planning. KC just ended up finally running out of dudes at the very end of the roster. No team is 3 deep at O line.
  18. No. KC was going to pay Trent Williams. You can bet KC will extend or Tag then exten Brown, and as I have said before, the cap doesn’t matter if your owner writes bonus checks every year and you kick that can each year as the cap goes up. This is NOT a problem as far as money at all. it’s an offense driven league. If I’m the bills I go get a dynamic RB and try and upgrade the TE spot. Allen and the O are where your best chance is to win Watch the draft now for C Creed Humphrey....KC has a pair of 2’s to help them jump the Steelers and/or Raiders This is a legit concern I have. Blocking for Jackson is a lot different than for most QBs
  19. They aren’t close to expanding. All I am saying is that given they can’t get any more US eyes on TV sets, growth in revenue and tv dollars would be from international expansion. That would include Canada when the time comes is all I am saying.

  21. I put a question mark behind the Bills as if to ask if that is what the NFL would ask someday? I already know your fan base is awesome and the Bills should stay in Buffalo.
  22. My 2 cents on the Canadian football marketplace. The NFL is going to want a team in Canada sometime sooner rather than later. Toronto is the obvious choice and ultimately will probably be where a franchise is located...but the thing to remember about the NFL at this point is their moves are all about expanding TV/media deals. We aren't going to hear of US expansion....ever again most likely....and the reason is TV dollars. In the US, NON NFL cities already watch NFL football games at a rate every bit as high as NFL media markets do. You do not gain eyes on screens by putting a new team in Portland, OR and San Antonio, TX. ......doing so means you have the same viewership numbers, but now the owners have to split that pie among 2 more teams. They aren't interested in that. What would very much interest the NFL is NEW TV money....ideally without expansion even....same 32 clubs get to share the new money....and new money comes from new markets. you put ONE NFL team in Canada...it's going to become "Canada's Team".....and will draw media interest.....and the NFL can sell the rights for a nice fee, wich the owners then share on top of the US TV deal. Same with London...you move a team over there....it's the UK Team....and the big media deal that goes with....split among the 32 owners..... So....just by moving the Jags....to London....and some team (the Bills?) to Canada.....the 32 owners can VASTLY expand their revenue. Maybe there is some friction trying to move 2 existing teams....so you expand.....same thing applies...whatever expansion happens...MUST be in line with adding screens and thus raking in the new media market revenue. Expansion then to London and Toronto.
  23. I don't have a strong opinion of him one way or another....he just seems one of the favorites at CB on this board...and not as much around the leauge.
  24. I've seen Tyson Campbells name here quite a bit.....he seems to be a hotter name among Bills fans than other places...any reason?
  25. Frankly....I think my first one is more likely. Picking at the end of round 1 is a B word for sure.
