    The missed sack by Milano

Cunningham blowing by 3 olineman  and blowing up Allen

    Fords "blindside" block

I am not a Milano fan and his lack of ideal size was shown true again with the HUGE missed sack. But in my opinion after all that happened how does the line miss the safety on that play? Its pin and pull. Block down and pull your lineman to basically block first color. This was perfectly called and ran out of different formation from the 1st series in the game. On tv it looks if they block the safety Allen may score.

That play IMO hurt the most.

The cunningham play.  If he's blocked Allen gets 15 yards minimum on that play.  Also with the play happening the way it did, Cunningham speared Allen with the crown of his helmet, it should have been a 15 yard penalty.  At worst we should have had 1st and 10 from the 27 yard line needing a FG to win.

  2. There's 0 chance he lasts to 22.  He'll be taken in the top 10

If Allen regresses or has a down year next year, with the schedule that we have he will already be putting us in a position to draft his replacement in 2021

This year is about improving our current team and surrounding Allen with more talent.  Duke is not the answer but he's the type of WR we need pairing up with JB.  Get someone that can go up and get these 50/50 balls.  The ball to Duke in the endzone was ***** beautiful and we need to get someone who comes down with that 10/10 times

I think this is beyond stupid, especially if Fuller doesn't play.  There's no reason for him to cover anyone else

Tre follows around ***** DeVante Parker in a regular season game, you think he's really not going to shadow Nuk this week?  Come on man lol.  Don't take what players say about the gameplay on a Thursday at face value

  4. Terrell Lewis from Alabama is an OLB/DE that I think could fill in the snaps vacated by Zo.  Had an elbow injury in 2017 and an ACL in 2018, but is a great talent that can play standing up traditional OLB or with his hand in the dirt at DE, just like how we use Zo.

With his injury history, which certainly hasn't scared us away from some recent FAs, I think he's a day 2 prospect.  Give me a top WR in round 1 and pick him up in round 2 or 3 and I'd be a happy camper

I don't recall but I'd be willing to try it again. I think maybe the time you are referring to though was an attempt on like 3rd and 1.5 yards or so. I agree there is a limit to the distance it should be attempted. But I mean at less than a yard. Hard to believe we can't consistently gain positive yardage twice. But it's not an exact science as we know the refs don't always have a clear view of the ball.

I feel like it happened in the Philly game?  We went for a quick line up and sneak on like 3rd and damn near 2.  Didn't get it, then tried it again and got stuffed

Is three ifs and buts combined a lot?

Cody Ford is doing fine you can't fix everything all at once I'm perfectly ok with them focusing more on the O-line this year than WR in a weak WR draft. D.K. got taken at the end of the second everyone passed on him.

I know PFF isn't law but PFF gave Ford a 39.7 pass blocking grade for the Dallas game, he must not be holding his blocks long enough to be getting good grades via PFF

1 sack 3 hurries 4 pressures was his statline in the Dallas game by the way.

  7. Ya, you definitely save that wrinkle when you need it.  I think on sneaks teams' secondaries don't sell out on the 1 yard push in the middle that hard.  It's possible to run a quick pass or an outside toss that could go for big yards though.

But I agree Daboll loves to call sneaks on 3rd and a very very long 1, and I particularly hate it.  Sometimes we'll run a cheap play to get 1-2 yards on a 2nd and 1.  I feel like those are the plays that we need to take more advantage of and go for chunk yards instead of rushing to get the 1st.

  8. Shaq loves to talk *****, been known for a while, he talks constantly during training camp.  Him and Cam would go back and forth during the joint practices.  As long as he backs it up with his effort and his play I got no problems with a little bit of vocality on that DL especially.  Phillips and Shaq bring that dog energy

I don't think Oliver is much like that, he just gets pumped when he makes a play.

BTW, you are building great creditability with calling Watson Watkins twice, you seem real knowledgable.

Oops haha it was just once, and it was like 2am over here sorry

He's made it clear why he passed on Mahomes. In getting things started in every area, he simply didn't have enough time to put into evaluation. I'm sorry, but this is totally understandable to me in a year when the next year was widely considered to be the best QB year in recent memory.

And the Watkins trade has panned out in every way so far. We saved a ton of money, got a lot of draft capital for the move up to get a QB and passed on a guy who hasn't even come slightly close to being worth his contract. Half of KC's season is gone and Watkins is on pace for an 820 yard season. Letting him go was flat-out smart.

And if Allen doesn't work out, moving up for him won't have been the wrong move. Choosing Allen will have been the bad move.

Not talking about trading Watkins, I'm talking about trading up for watkins.  We could have taken Mack, we could have sat where we were and taken Mike Evans

Allen threw basically a perfect pass to Robert Foster last week and he either lost the ball or couldn’t make a simple catch on a ball that landed at his feet.

A perfect pass?  It was literally several yards behind him lmao

A perfect pass hits him in stride.  we had no business throwing deep in that wind with, to date, one of the most inaccurate deep ball passers in the NFL.  Activating Foster and deactivating the twitchy quick McKenzie for a game being played in a small hurricane was a bonehead coaching decision.  Jet sweeps could have been weaponized

can you believe that on this date...october 30, 2019...the year of our lord, someone actually tried to reference how hard the schedule would be the following season?  i want to punch holes in dry wall right now.

Have you looked at our opponents?  We play the NFC West which is very strong, the AFC West, and likely Texans/colts and Browns/Steelers.  But ya I'm a little hasty on it, there might be a team bus crash or something that just tears some of these teams current rosters asunder.
