  1. The Ravens look like an absolute machine right now. There is way too many things to try and stop.
  2. The bottom line on the MVP debate is Josh had better stats and lost last year because of his teams record. If Lamar doesn't get the same treatment this year the MVP vote is more about who the writers and NFL want to have the publicity around.
  3. Someone needs some warm milk, a blankey, and his Mommy.
  4. Confucious say one who look ever backwards is bound to run into things.
  5. Thinking of picking up a half baked pizza from Bocce Club on Saturday and cooking it for the game. Not completely sold on that but at this moment thats the plan.
  6. Trey Hendrickson is an absolute monster. Nick Hilton, Cam Taylor Britt and Germaine Pratt are all very good players in the league. They have talent on defense.
  7. They have plenty of talent on that side of the ball. What he is a victim of is the ebb and flow of defense in the NFL. They lost their first three games by a total of 10 points and didn't recover.
  8. Its gotten to the point with McDermott that I want them to win as much for him as I do for the fans and city. He deserves some of the criticism he's taken but some of it is way way over the top.
  9. They really needed to do a better job of building a culture rather than just collecting talent. Now they have two about to be over 30-year-old divas who both want out of the organization in Hill and Ramsey. To move on from them it's going to cost them somewhere in the range of $52 million dollars which they will owe through the 2028 season. I suppose it makes sense to keep Grier and Mini Mike through next season so they dont have to pay each of them money to do nothing as well. They need to fully tear down and build up.
  10. What worries me the most about this game is our safeties crapping the bed. Mims isn't an elite wideout but he will make you pay if you have your eyes too far up field. That said, the offense cant have a bad game this post-season, they need to score and score a lot.
  11. I think he is a guy who is still putting it together. Obviously has tons of size and talent, but maybe a year or two away from realizing his full potential. If you had to point to a weak link on the oline, which is very hard to do, he would be it for me. Dont misunderstand what I am saying, I dont think he is a bad player. But if I am an opposing coach and I have to target one guy on our line it would be him. That said, you cant ask for much more from a second year player who has earned a starting role and not let it go.
  12. I think you're really underselling the similarities. Similar size, similar speed, similar hands. Each of them has overinflated yards per catch statistics because both of them are 9 route specialists. Just because Keon has high pointed a few passes this year because he is a basketball player doesnt mean he is great at contested catches. Gabe got a lot of crap here for having bad hands, meanwhile he never had as bad a season as Keon who is currently at 50% catch rate. There is some recency bias with Keon but if he continues to play like he did this year his act will wear thin as well.
  13. Kind of shocking considering how loud the stadium still was.
  14. I have a feeling he is going to stay available for awhile.
  15. Thats a pretty wild stat. Looking to find reasons to feel positive about this game because I know this week is going to take forever.
  16. Based on seeding alone I would take the Chargers over the Texans or the Commanders over the Bucs.
  17. Took a look back at recent playoff history since the NFL added the 7th seed. 7th seeds are 1-6 against 2nd seeds. Not counting the Superbowl lower seeds are 16-32 against higher seeds in that same timeframe.
  18. Its good he has plans. The problem is I don't think he has a whiff of an idea about how poorly the Jets organization is perceived by potential coaching hires. It reminds me of when Ralph thought he could bring Cowher to Buffalo. Woody's plan should include a bridge Quarterback and Head Coach and bottoming out to try and go get Arch Manning.
  19. How many big plodding wideouts are successful in the NFL anymore? I don't think he is a guy you can stick outside and expect tons of production from. If you go back and look at Gabe Davis' from his rookie and 2nd year I think you'll see a very comparable player. Not especially fast, doesn't catch the ball incredibly well but can give you some production as a big slot and on go routes. Maybe in time he will be something special, but I think the more likely outcome is a Michael Wilson/Gabe Davis type.
  20. Not a starter but probably stole Spector's roster spot for next year.
  21. The best and most predictable part is he hasnt bothered to consider he may be part of the problem. He isnt a young player anymore. He relies a ton on speed and maybe, just maybe he doesnt have the jets at full blast anymore. Dolphins are going to need a really nice deal to eat 54 million over 2 years, especially when they are already 15 million over the cap for next year.
  22. There are coaches you can just tell are out of their depth. Ben McAdoo, Freddie Kinchens, Antonio Pierce all comes to mind. Mayo is in that group, easily.
  23. Just checked on fanduel 8.5 over there. However, it looks like the Ravens just went ahead of the Bills for Super Bowl favorites.
  24. Looks like Broncos fans are very confident they can come in here and provide an upset. They dont seem too worried about the Bills at all.
  25. Which I completely understand. More just from a Bills fan side I don't like to take too much joy is another teams misery because of how fast that can change.
