  1. The Bass contract is really just a product of the rest of the bad contracts. If they werent paying Miller and Knox, they could have easily parted ways with Bass. Still think the Miller contract is one of the worst in Bills history.
  2. I am not a Gabe Davis fan but you could have had him or Darnell Mooney for less than what you're paying Knox alone.
  3. Khalil Shakir is a legitimate #2 wideout in the league. Kincaid is a very good tight end in the league. Coleman is as good as players like KJ Osborn or DJ Chark. That said, the Bills are paying Knox, Samuel, Hollins and MVS $27 million dollars to be completely non existent.
  4. It's both. And to say anything other is ignorant. The coaches didn't tell Spector, and Lewis to not get the right depth. They didn't tell Dorian Williams to get toasted in coverage or for the entire team to stop tackling well. They didn't tell the oline to not show up or the wideouts to drop passes. They didn't tell dlinemen to get fooled on misdirection over and over again. The coach made massive mistakes but this was a total team loss. Football isn't baseball with some goofball in a jersey doing little to nothing but it also isn't all coaching. It's the one sport that takes great players and great coaches to do well.
  5. Unprepared and outcoached. This one is on McDermott and his staff.
  6. Max protect only works if your running back knows who to block
  7. Misdirection is fine. A throw behind the line or jet sweep that turns into a half back or wr pass is fine. Putting your franchise qb in danger is stupid beyond stupid. Did anyone think Curtis Samuel was going to throw the ball there?
  8. Played 3 bad teams to start the year. Not built to play from behind. They want to play ball control and their defense isn't good enough to support it.
  9. Keon Coleman gives off major James Hardy vibes. Can't run or be trusted to run anything but the nine route or try and body a corner on a jump ball. So far off from being a NFL ready wideout.
  10. Amazing how out coached they got in the first half. My 8th grader could run the Ravens offense. All day to throw to wide open players.
  11. Watching the ball get out in under 2 seconds and the running backs run by them
  12. Collinsworth "you're taught to get your head in front" said no football coach in the last 30 years lol
  13. Lamar makes a side cut for three yards and Collinsworth goes "wow I've never seen that before"
  14. He's thrown three checkdowns
  15. Gonna be fun watching the refs tonight
  16. Didn't you hear Collinsworth that was a bad throw....hate listening to this idiot
  17. Given the way things went between he and McDermott his last year here and the ice cold hand shake last year, I dont think you see Daboll back here.
  18. Woman of Color. That's her exact platform. They have her running the Obama campaign of change and hope when she is the incumbent and I think Americans are just stupid and racist enough to fall for it.
  19. Really sad. For a sport that lives on the history of the sport, they messed this one up royally.
  20. Its not incredibly expensive but they dont currently have the cap space to do it.
  21. His season cap hit is $18,313,000. If he is traded post June 1st, the Browns eat $1,963,000 of his salary. Given the trade deadline is Nov 5th, I would envision any team trading for him would do it before the November 3rd games. His game checks are an average of 1,077,235. You get him for 8 games minus the $1,963,000 the Browns would take as dead cap. Gets you somewhere in the range of $6.8 million for 8 games. Just a quick and dirty.
  22. No. Even if the Bills made a move for him at the trade deadline they'd still have to pay him somewhere in the neighborhood of $7 million dollars. Thats incredibly expensive for an 8 game rental whose contract isn't guaranteed for next year. Hopkins had his chance to be a Buffalo Bill and he chose the money. Thats all I'd need to know as a GM. If Cleveland is out of it by the deadline I'd inquire about Amari Cooper, a little younger, a lot cheaper.
  23. Cant find the video or the tweet now, but apparently Sluka got his 100k. Once they beat Kansas and Houston he and his parents decided he was worth 300k, when he and his agent asked for the additional money the Coach told him no. Once he heard no he quit.
