Deon “Primetime” Sanders to Colorado
thenorthremembers replied to djp14150's topic in College Football
I completely agree with you. However, there is an air that both he and his players carry themselves with that rubs some people the wrong way. That said, the bridges he burns will likely just light his path forward. -

Yeah shocking Christians are sinners. It sure doesn't mention that anywhere in the Bible. -

Let's not pretend Coach Prime is some humble guy who doesnt warrant some of the disrespect coming his way. He's good for college football but I think we all kinda knew how this one was going to swing. -
When I met my wife I was in a two year relationship. After meeting my now wife and talking to her for a bit I knew the two year relationship was over. 7 months after meeting her we were engaged. 11 months after meeting her we were married. Oddly enough I was the same age Josh is now. 13 years and 4 children later I am still over the moon about her. There are a lot of beautiful women in the world and you may even marry the wrong one by mistake but I truly believe only one ever is meant to be your wife. I found mine. I hope the same for Josh. If she is the right one don't waste time. Life isn't guaranteed.

Oh no, poor billionaires losing money.
thenorthremembers replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll gladly pay the my portion of taxes to keep the Bills here. I pay for the Jets and Giants, I am about to pay a tax hike to drive on a road thats already been paid for 100 times over. Last thing I am going to complain about paying taxes on is something I actually enjoy. Its a futile complaint anyways. -
Eric Bieniemy giving Matt Milano his flowers
thenorthremembers replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not sure its the only thing keeping him from getting a job. But think about the NFLs recent history regarding violence against women. If the interview process is close do you choose the person with a clean past or the dude who choked a woman? Its been a long time and he may have changed but the Drunk driving, assaulting a woman, luring recruits using sexual favors/alcohol and the odd interfering with a fireman charges are all in the public domain. I think the narrative about him being in Reid's shadow is only a small part as to why he hasn't received a job. Personally, I think NFL teams see the guy as a PR nightmare waiting to happen and would rather not have to answer questions about his past. -

I don't disagree about him being in Reids shadow but its goes beyond that for EB. He had a sexual assault charge while at Colorado. -

He should have stopped at a little weed. He's smoked whatever amount produces Bob Marley references in your blaming the FBI for killing your mother Instagram video. -
Can you believe he is only 25 years old! Lots of room to grow..... Decent player, not an impact player. Milano was the obvious choice to keep.

USFL-XFL merge; become UFL w/USFL and XFL divisions
thenorthremembers replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
XFL started with a great business model. They wanted to be an alternative to college football to give kids with academic issues or the financial need to go pro right after high school a chance to get paid to play football. Think Overtime Elite in basketball. Instead they just did what every Spring League does and featured past their prime ex-NFLers and guys who never made to the league. It's bad football. Until the NFL agrees to make one of these leagues their farm system its never going to work. -
If Zac Taylor was the coach here Bills fans would have shown up at his house with pitchforks or spray painted a ***** on his front lawn. He is a sub .500 career coach who has been very lucky to, at the same time, have a good qb on a rookie contract and still pick top 5 in the draft during that time period. One team I will never have any respect for. Note: The starred out word isn't what you think it is. Very scientific term.

Both teams get the ball out incredibly fast.

Raiders at Bills 1990 AFC Championship Game
thenorthremembers replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall
Pretty much everything my Dad and I did together centered around sports or music. Somehow he ended up a California sports guy Athletics, Lakers, and Raiders. We watched a lot of Lakers and Bulls, Bills, and Athletics baseball. Outside of that he coached my youth sports. Only paralleled by weekend trips to the House of Guitars or setting up equipment for his shows on Friday and Saturday nights. Its funny. The activities may have been sports but those times spent together produce so many other conversations. Only had my Dad for 10 years, but his legacy lives on in my relationships with my Sons. -
Raiders at Bills 1990 AFC Championship Game
thenorthremembers replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall
One of my favorite childhood memories. I was seven years old and watched all the games with my Dad. He watched all the Bills games but grew up a Raiders fan. He'd tell me great stories about the Assassin Jack Tatum, Snake Stabler and the Mad Bomber Daryle Lamonica. When I first found out he wasn't a Bills fan I was kind of crushed but I wouldn't change a thing as the stories he told me about the 1960s and 1970s football were some of my favorite times with him. Long story short I remember the week leading up to the game being a huge deal. 97 rock had the parody song "Raiders in the Storm" (No Snow in Californ). My Dad was in a local band and his band mates would call the house after every Bills score to give him crap. Needless to say the phone rang non stop. By the time it was 41-3 all he could do was laugh. Great memory of my Father, awesome game. -
Agreed man. He is into his leg kick before the ball even moves.

I cant believe how bad NFL Football has been so far. The Eagles left tackle is leaving early on almost every snap.

Should be a theme until right up until October 31st.
