I just read it. It essentially says the return would benefit the Bills most in the locker room. It sent on to say his most likely spot would be taking over for Hamlin. While Bishop is waiting in the wings he hasnt done enough to take over for Hamlin. It wouldnt be acceptable for McDermott to make that move. But if it were for Hyde it would be more acceptable in the locker room. Personally, I think it would go against everything McDermott stands for to bring Hyde back this late in the season to take over for a guy who has played every game, regardless of perceived shortcomings.

The problem is the defensive lineman we are going to be looking for are specifically suited to our scheme. Mason Graham is the best defensive tackle in the draft, but he is a 3 tech, which we dont need. The best edge rushers in the draft are 3-4 outside linebackers outside of someone like Mykel Williams. The better idea is to sit back and grab a 1 tech at the end of the 1st round, someone like Tyleik Williams or Deone Walker and then get an edge rusher in the 2nd. Guys like Kyle Kennard from South Carolina or Jack Sawyer should be there for the Bills in the 2nd round and both are good players. No need to spend picks on moving up.

Give them a few weeks and ask again. Changes with the temper of the day.

He did get a big pay day after the Steelers. He got a 2 year 38 million dollar contract from the Panthers.

Any sort of frustration from him is because of his entitlement. He wasn't trending to becoming a perennial 1000 yard wideout. He had 1, count em 1, 1000 yard season. And even that season he was barely over 1000 yards. He isn't a special player. He is an above average player who got paid a good chunk of change to have spotty hands for a possession wideout. Yes, he is fast but he averages a little over 11 yards a reception for his career. Any sort of career success he has is strictly because of number of targets. When these guys fail to understand that their targets are not more important than the overall health of the team they find themselves in places like Carolina really quickly. Good teams don't put up with bs.

The issue is it doesn't break it down by routes. Just can throw a deep post fine. He can throw the corner, and deep outs pretty well too. What he doesnt throw well is a wide-open go/9 ball. It seems like he struggles a great deal when he has to put air under the pass and drop it over a wideouts shoulder. That said, yes, teams do try and take that route away from him with the two high shell. The opportunities arent as vast for guys like Josh and Mahomes.

At the time youtube still had every snap "film" of college players. Baker was by far my favorite, he was must see viewing at the time anyways. I hated Rosen. I thought he moved like dog crap. Darnold was a turnover machine. When they drafted Josh I just figured they knew more than I did and was fine with it. He is well on his way to being the best Bill of all time. Just awesome.
