Holy hell how many times can you guys beat the same dead horse. -
Seahawks-Bears anyone? (Live Game Thread)
thenorthremembers replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bears are running the risk of giving Williams happy feet before he even has a chance to develop at QB. Embarrassing to see that many olinemen standing around looking at defenders tackle their QB. -
Suggested ways to make the NBA better
thenorthremembers replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
I love basketball and still watch the NBA a great deal. That said, the league lost when they started letting the players act like the owners of teams. Crap players are making way too much money and have way too much say in what happens with the team. Another issue the NBA has is the games are on way way too late. It's the same thing with baseball and hockey. They care more about the few thousand people in the arena than actually trying to get the millions they could from TV revenue. I am a big fan of the Dallas Mavericks but I am not staying up until 10pm for a game. -
A losers mentality is expecting to lose before the game is played, which is exactly what you did in your post. Stop acting like they only play the Dolphins, Jets and Patriots every year. They haven't won the big one yet but they have been successful. Only one team wins the Superbowl.

Who cares. It's literally a push between he and Coleman in almost every category except games played. Neither guy has been all that good, Worthy has just been more available.

If he wants to get paid like a #1 wideout in the league I cant see them bothering to bring him back. Josh does so much of his work off schedule that paying Cooper, even as a top 20 wideout in the league isnt worth the Bills time. That said, if the guy wants to come back here on a one year deal for between 3.5 and 5 Million great. Otherwise go draft someone else.

At the very least its classy.

No way you have a tattoo. Imagine all the bad things that may happen.
-
No. They just need to not be delusional in negativity. "This franchise is cursed." - Fan of a team who has won nearly 70% of their games the last 8 years.
-
I second this. Send them back to their fear bunkers.
-
What a complete loser's mentality.

The Bills are going to have a better record this year including huge performances in prime time games. The Bills were 6-6 at one point last season. If you'd like to look at every negative go for it. I'd rather look at the positives.

Allen had 15 more touchdowns and more yards than Lamar last year and lost because the Ravens had the better record. I fully expect Allen to get the MVP this year.

The game was over when they kicked that field goal. Now they are chasing points. You have to score touchdowns against the Chiefs. -

Disagree. You're contradicting yourself. You say they are winning with defense and then later saying we shouldnt be wasting resources trying to win on defense. Take Chris Jones and the defense away from the Chiefs and they still win. Take Mahomes off of the Chiefs, even with Reid coaching and you have a team who loses in the playoffs every year. -

Some of its coaching. Some of its having a quarterback who runs the offense like a well-oiled machine. -

The Chiefs are putting together a clinic on why defense matters so little in today's NFL. Everything they are doing on offense is quick and 5 yards at a time. They essentially turn it into 7 on 7 football. It makes the pass rush irrelevant, and puts all the pressure on the linebackers, cornerbacks, and safeties to not make mistakes. Bottom line is your offense has to score more than theirs. -
Will He Reinvent Himself: Coach Sean McDermott
thenorthremembers replied to waterglass's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just depends on who your whipping boy is. The defense may have been to blame in 2020, and 2021 yes. But, 2019 was on the Hall of Fame QB, in 2022 the offense scored 10 points, and last year they missed a field goal. Its not an annual defensive debacle, thats revisionist history. The Super Bowl is hard to win. Especially when your hall of fame QB is playing in the time and conference of a better hall of fame QB. I will never justify 13 seconds, but to constantly bang the McDermott sucks drum is asinine. There is more to the teams failures than just McDermott. Just like there is more to this teams triumphs than just Josh Allen. -

I guess my real question is what does he need a pass for? Having a top ten defense five of eight years? Or having a .659 winning percentage as a head coach? I am not going back over the entire injury history, but if you cant admit the Bills defense has been bit by the injury bug the last two seasons, I dont know what to tell you. The truth is posters like you have a personal issue with McDermott despite him being a very good coach. -

If the offense was missing Dion Dawkins, Spencer Brown, James Cook and Amari Cooper would they not get a pass?
