  1. He just said this off season the Bills have the worst fan base. Who knows maybe he really doesnt want to come here.
  2. The Von contract may be the worst in Bills history. If they cut him next year which I fully expect, and he continues on his current pace, the Bills will have paid him 59 million dollars for 15.5 sacks in three years. Arden Key had very similar output for the Titans and Jaguars during that time and he was paid 51 million less. 59 million dollars for 5 sacks a year, one torn ACL, and one Domestic Violence suspension. Can anyone think of a worse signing?
  3. I still dont know if you're kidding but I am pretty sure only Gase and Kotite have a worse winning percentage. Even Bruce Coslet was better.
  4. The Patriots need to rid themselves of anyone who had anything to do with Bill Belichick. They needed to go outside of the organization for the GM and the Coach. Instead they hired two Belichick disciples. Mayo is out of his depth.
  5. Seriously?
  6. Good move by the Jets. One of my least favorite people in the NFL. Sealed the deal for me when he jumped on top of a players dog pile week 1 last year. That said, he is a good defensive coach and the real issue with the Jets is their overrated GM Joe Douglas.
  7. Daddy Kelce should be looking up Mama Worthy.
  8. That big boy has played running back before. Had the 5 points of pressure on the ball and had the other arm ready to cover in case anyone got cute and went for a strip. Well done big fella!
  9. There wasn't enough contact anyways. Worthy just falls down because a sneeze can blow him over
  10. Saints keep playing two high and giving the middle to the Chiefs. Chiefs send outside wideouts deep and clear the middle of the field. It's there all day.
  11. Can someone please explain the wiping your fingers over your top lip celebration? I am in my 40s and have no clue what that is.
  12. They aren't scared of their own shadow.
  13. He just fired a coach people thought he wouldn't . Hopefully that extends to the football team.
  14. Roscoe Parrish would like a word with you.
  15. Daddy Kelce isn't exactly the definition of beauty either. They are evenly yoked.
  16. Some of this isn't scheme. It's Kelce knowing where to stop and flash in space.
  17. For a long time I hated the Patriots and then one day I just started to appreciate how good Brady was in their system. I feel the same way about the Chiefs now. I envy their fans.
  18. I think the more interesting test would be to see which of them would be able to figure out what half speed means the quickest.
  19. Looking at the players who could potentially be available for the Bills I think Amari Cooper is the only realistic option. Hopkins, Adams and Kupp are too expensive. Dionte Johnson and Kendrick Bourne wouldn't make enough of a difference. Part of me wonders if Gabe Davis would be available after the nonsense with Trevor this past weekend. Only way you look into that is if you can bring both he and Cooper in because Gabe cant be a 1.
  20. Johnson has always had drop issues and its steadily gotten worse. If we are trading for a wideout it needs to be someone who will lift the rest of the group. The Bills need a #1 wideout and Johnson is a borderline #2.
  21. From a drafting perspective Beane has made 46 picks not counting this year's class and for the most part it hasnt been bad. There are a few instances where he missed on picks and could have had better pieces, Devin Singletary over Terry McLaurin and Nate Davis, Justin Shorter over Puka Nacua, Kaiir Elam over Tyler Smith or Tyler Linderbaum, Tremaine Edmunds over Jaire Alexander, Frank Ragnow, or DJ Moore. In other instances, he made a bad pick where he could have picked franchise altering pieces Cody Ford over AJ Brown or DK Metcalf, Boogie Basham over Creed Humphrey. However, his decision to go after the right Josh is the primary reason the Bills have been so successful. Because of that cant give him anything less than a B- for drafting. When it comes to extensions, he made errors in overspending on Knox. I am also not sure they needed to spend money on Oliver and Spencer Brown. They are good but not great. Probably should have never given Diggs what he wanted when they extended him. In free agency he has done a fairly good job of supplementing and not overspending. Where he really screwed the pooch was overreacting to .13 seconds by overspending on Von Miller. You dont beat Mahomes by pressuring him. You beat him by outscoring him. The move was way outside of his normal spending, and it's a big reason why the Bills do not have the ability to replace Diggs. It's one of the worst contracts in Bills history. Free Agency and extensions probably a C-.
  22. I think everyone knew that. I knew they were going to run the ball. The issue here is they have also made the passing game completely inept. There is absolutely no reason Josh should be at 61% completion percentage going back to last year.
  23. I was thinking the same thing this morning. I feel like its the only way the Bills will move on from McDermott. He will Tomlin his way to winning records by being better than bad teams as long as they let him. But they need to get back to outscoring teams by passing the ball.
  24. The issue is Cole Beasley played like a rabid dog and gave maximum effort. From what I saw of Samuel yesterday, he runs his route, then gives up on the play.
  25. To start off I've been a massive McDermott and Beane supporter from word jump, but seeing what McDermott has reduced the offense to in an attempt to try and become a more balanced football team has me worried for the organization's future, most specifically what they are doing with their Quarterback. To get a better understanding of where they are at, I went back and took a look at Josh under each of his three offensive coordinators. I did not include his rookie year. Passing Yards GM- Daboll (239), Dorsey (264), Brady (257) Pass TDs/GM- Daboll (1.74), Dorsey (2.05), Brady (1.66) INTS/GM- Daboll (.77), Dorsey (.96), Brady (.83) TD/INT Diff- Daboll (.97), Dorsey (1.09), Brady (.83) Comp PCT- Daboll (62%), Dorsey (66%), Brady (61%) Multi Pass TD %-Daboll (57%), Dorsey (65%), Brady (41%) 100-199 Yrds Gms- Daboll (28%), Dorsey (19%), Brady (41%) 300-399 Yrds Gms- Daboll (20%), Dorsey (27%), Brady (16%) One of thing Brady gets flowers for is reducing the amount of interceptions Josh is throwing. The reality is they've done that by taking the ball out of Josh's hands. He has reduced the interception percentage, but he has also cut his passing td output. The Bills, by design are now paying a franchise QB a quarter of a billion dollars to hand the ball off and throw safe passes. Rather than playing to win like they were under Daboll and Dorsey, they are playing not to lose. The answer to that will be the talent they have on offense currently. To that I say talent is only 50% of the equation. If you know your wideouts stink, do something to scheme them open. They built a team to beat cover two defenses. Lots of slot wideouts, running everything over the middle. Now defenses have adjusted and are playing single high closed middle against them and they havent adjusted, and thats on Brady. Run some outs, comebacks, flats and gos. Clear out the seam and run a wheel to Cook. I've never coached beyond high school but there is a saying in coaching that says, "You can tell bad coaches by how often they blame lack of talent for losing." The Bills are currently 22nd in yards per game. 21st in passing offense. Josh is on pace for his lowest passing yardage and passing touchdown output since his second year in the league. He is on pace for his lowest number of completions since his rookie year. He is essentially having the season Russell Wilson had in Denver last year. Until the Bills want to be the team that dictates the game to their opponent again, they will be a team trying to play ball control offense with a franchise QB who they want to make a game manager.
