  1. You dont cut a guy who has 27 starts for your defense when the guy in front of him hasnt proven he can start in the league. Damar is poor in coverage, but he can play the run. Unless there is somebody better in free agency you dont cut him until you are sure someone better is getting cut from another roster. The Raiders have a few players to watch. Thomas Harper and Terrell Edmunds are both decent depth players who may be cut. Thats kind of where we are at if you cut Damar.
  2. The Bills dont run a Tampa 2 Scheme under McDermott, they never have. His original base defense here was the 4-3 Under which he learned under Jim Johnson in Philadelphia. Since then the base defense has been more 4-2-5. A Tampa 2 scheme depends on a middle linebacker helping to play cover 3, thats not the role of a middle linebacker in 4-3 under. You had multiple people give you thumbs up for your post. It's fine if you guys want to bash the defense but at the very least try and understand what you are bashing.
  3. Even given that definition I would say thats a pretty good hull for a guy drafting in the end of the 1st round every year.
  4. Came into the league one year earlier than Josh and is already a coach, thats pretty wild. Loved him at Cal. Coaches kid, so this makes total sense.
  5. I dont disagree there. But to say they are worlds better when they've beat us by 3 points two years in a row is hyperbolic.
  6. Holy crap man how is James Cook not a star player!? He was tied for the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL last year. Is Dion Dawkins not elite? Does he not help Josh? How about Christian Benford? You guys just blindly say things without any facts.
  7. They've beat the Bills two years a row in the playoffs by a combined 6 points and have lost to them two years straight in the regular season. They are not head shoulders, and torso better.
  8. The Chiefs drafted Clyde Edwards Helaire. and Darwin Thompson in the same six year span you setup for the Bills. They also drafted Sky Moore. Just speaking of "game breakers." The Ravens drafted Justice Hill, and JK Dobbins. Spent a 1st on Rashod Bateman. Again, despite your nonsense, no fact providing posts, the Bills GM is not bad at drafting. He does a fantastic job finding good players in all rounds that are near pro bowl or pro bowl level talents. He also makes bad picks, which happens in the draft. Especially when you did such a good job drafting a QB that you're constantly in the later rounds of the playoffs and as consequence pick late in the draft.
  9. Mahomes, Brady and Manning have won 7 of the last 10 Super Bowls. The Bills havent been bad. The Super Bowl is amazingly hard to win.
  10. My Lord man James Cook is one of the ten best players at his position in the NFL. Greg Rousseau is a very good player. Is he great? No he isnt headed to the hall of fame, but he is an impact player. O'Cyrus Torrence has started every game since he has been drafted. Oliver had 9.5 sacks two years ago and continues to play well above average. If you want super stars I guess the Bills better start drafting in the top 5 of the draft every year. Personally, Ill take the playoffs every year instead.
  11. Ed Oliver, Greg Rousseau, James Cook, and O'Cyrus Torrence. Funny you set the limit at 6 years, because of course it helps your narrative a great deal to completely ignore he drafted the reigning NFL MVP in his first year as GM. Also very telling you set the limit at 2 rounds, when he has drafted guys like Chrisitan Benford, Spencer Brown, Khalil Shakir, Dawson Knox, and Terrel Bernard in rounds 3-6 in those same drafts. He isnt bad at drafting. Definitely not any worse than average. Just complete non-sense.
  12. I dont think you need this preseason to know what he is. He's a backup runningback in the NFL. He'll likely play out his contract here and then fizzle out quickly after. That said, he is good enough to play snaps in the league.
  13. Not according to the rocket scientist Greg Olsen. Who didnt bother to mention that Davidson was the one being held.
  14. My god man. Please find me a GM who hasnt made "questionable" draft choices. Wake up the Super Bowl is insanely hard to win.
  15. Who is available? My guess is a street free agent at this point isnt going to be any better than a guy who has started 27 games in this scheme.
  16. The Bills defense has been top 10 five of eight years under McDermott. Its very far from same old same old.
  17. None of them left with a serious injury Shavers looked like an NFL wideout No turnovers
  18. A QB in high school has to be able to throw 9 route when the wideout is that open. Mike White wasnt able to do that when the wideout was open within the first 5 yards. Absolute dog crap.
  19. I highly doubt they are going to run the "sit the starters and dont get hurt scheme" in the regular season.
  20. I was kind of wondering why they didnt stick with Codrington. I thought he was fine last year. Shenault looks slow to me.
  21. Joe Brady, Kliff Kingsbury, Zac Robinson
  22. Only because he didnt have to watch this game.
  23. Could be worse. This is how the regular season use to look.
