  1. As with everything about Allen, I feel like I am watching something different than everyone else. I didnt think he looked good at all.
  2. Exactly. You end up with a bunch of 6'5 230 guys who cant play.
  3. Hard to tell but to me his workout seems to be slower than the others Ive watched.
  4. Just rewatched the TCU game from last year. Seriously just a passing clinic against the 16 overall defense in college football last year.
  5. Sharing that with my family on New Years Eve is something I will never forget. It was 100% worth it. Not sure what the argument here is. No one knows which quarterback from this years draft, if any, will ever be the type of player who can lead a franchise to a Super Bowl. You also have no clue yet if we actually missed out on a quarterback. Having that second 1st rounder was essential.
  6. You truly never know, but just based on the quarterbacks MacCagnan and Bates have drafted in the past, I dont believe Allen is their first choice. In fact I think they'd be likely to take Mayfield over him. If we want Rosen I think we have to get up to #2.
  7. Havent listened in awhile. What is his reason for saying this?
  8. He was never good. Take a look at the statistics below. Any change after the Arizona game, either good or bad was negligible. Prior to Arizona Game Yrds/Gm TD/GM INT/GM Comp % Y/A TD/INT Diff 182.8 .78 .71 58.7 6.6 +.07 After Arizona Game 183.4 .82 1 61.8 6.5 -.17
  9. You're hitting the nail on the head when talking about the 3+ hours. I love watching the games, however when the bye week hits it always amazes me how much I get done by not watching a game. Additionally, I cant do the late games. Maybe I am in the minority, but I wish they could start the Monday and Thursday night games around 7pm rather than 8:30 or 9pm. I understand the conflict with the West Coast but maybe a double header is the answer, I am not sure.
  10. Because he doesnt think Lamar Jackson is good?
  11. He's not anywhere close to the type of playmaker Cam is. He is near 20 pounds lighter and quite a bit slower. There are plays Cam can make that guys like Allen just cant. Guys like Cam and Clowney are freaks of nature. Don't get me wrong Allen's arm is ungodly, but as a playmaker he doesn't live in the same league as Newton, and I think the comparison is wrong. Just my opinion, doesnt mean I am right.
  12. Can people please stop saying Josh Allen has "Cam Newton Like Playmaking Ability?" Newton is far and away the most freakish athlete to ever play the quarterback position. He is the size of a defensive end and had a similar 40 time to guys like Jamison Crowder or Michael Thomas from New Orleans. Allen isn't even the athlete Colin Kaepernick was coming out of Nevada. A fair comparison for Allen in terms of just being an athlete is Carson Wentz, but in no way does he compare to Newton in that realm.
  13. My favorite college football player ever. Amazing to watch last year. The touch on his passes down the seam of the field is second to none. That being said I dont think the Bills draft him. He is my #1 quarterback, but historically Beane and McDermott have been a part of teams who have drafted quarterbacks 6'2 or taller with lower accuracy percentages.
  14. You're correct. I read the OU report last night and they mentioned Kubiak was there as a Sr. advisor.
  15. I think it because with Zo switching back to Defensive End they currently have 7 or 8 Defensive Ends on the Roster. With Murphy getting 7million I think it makes Hughes expendable at 10.4. But you never really know do you?
  16. Good pickup. Hughes is on his way out.
  17. I agree. I just prefer for them to wait for the 4th round to get developmental guys. I generally hope the Bills scout well enough to get starters in rounds 1-3, especially with the roster not being that deep.
  18. You'd be correct, but even for the players that have made it Stafford's is low. In relation Allen's is even lower than that. People want to blame it on the lack of talent around him, but when I watch his games it doesnt stand out to me that thats the case. I see passes thrown into the ground, missing high, completely missing routes altogether with balls being thrown into the middle of the field. He may be great, I am not paid to evaluate football players, but he scares the hell out of me.
  19. Find one quarterback drafted in the last fifteen years with a less than 57% completion percentage in college that was a hit. I cant seem to find one. I think he is a gigantic risk. As far as being a similar athlete to Cam Newton, pretty sure Cam is about 30 pounds heavier and runs a 4.5 compared to Allen's 4.7
  20. It makes sense to be anxious. Going over the 1st round quarterbacks in the last ten years I think its around a 36% success rate. At best that means 2 of the top 5 guys will be good players.
  21. Is he talented yes. But not a lot of super stars play on three different teams in three years. KC just paid near Antonio Brown money for someone who may be good someday.
  22. I feel like there have been more trades/cuts, but the information on free agents feels slower than usual.
  23. Did Albright get this info while on the Matt Moore visit he reported happened yesterday?
  24. Cut or trade the close to thirty year old defensive end who has averaged 5 sacks a year over the last three seasons while earning the third highest paycheck on the team. Yeah I think Id be ok with that, and honestly Ive expected it.
  25. Lets hope so. The only top ten quarterback Beane has ever been a part of drafting was a Jr. who had only started 14 games. He won them all, so maybe thats the better case for Mayfield, I dont know. I am not sure Rosen is a good fit for the RPO, but you really cant tell anymore.
