  1. Nobody runs a "fumblerooski." Fake News.
  2. 18 of the 32 teams have a fullback, which means 44% of the teams dont use one. Dimarco played in 63% of the snaps last year, your 1/4 comment totally disregarded his contribution on special teams, which like it or not is part of a football game. Whaley worked for the Bills for six years in that time the team made the playoffs 0 times. He drafted 20 players from 2014-2016, 10 of them no longer play in the NFL. He wasnt a martyr for the bad coaches alone, he was a bad GM. You and I can field a call from Chip Kelly to trade for Lesean McCoy, that was a slam dunk. Bottom line is the Bills made the playoffs one time in 17 years, and that had something to do with whatever McDermott is doing there. I think I'll roll with that for awhile rather than defending Whaley.
  3. You seem to be looking at this from a very face value perspective. First, the assertion Pat DiMarco contributes ZERO to the team is flat wrong. He played 25% of the offensive snaps last year, including another 38% of the snaps on ST. Beyond that, the FO brings in guys they know can help build a culture and set an expectation for the young guys. If you dont have a mix of those type of guys, you are essentially returning the team to where it was under Whaley. Those teams had boat loads of talent with no real direction.
  4. They are a 5-11 football team on talent alone. Lets see if process can squeeze a couple more close ones out of them.
  5. Do the Jets and Bills share scouting departments now? Seems like they are in on all the same players.
  6. He is still a kid so I get it. We've all done stupid things. I know I did, but I had a lot less at stake. Karlos' situation is worse in my mind because he was already on a team, and I think he would have had a chance to fight for the starting job by now if he hadn't of smoked, ate and instagrammed his way out of the league.
  7. I'd drop Kittle. You can usually find viable tight end options on waivers and I don't believe for a second Barber will start over Ronald Jones all season, dont care how atrocious he looked in the preseason.
  8. Bo Scarbough Seems like exactly the type of no nonsense leader McDermott is looking for. The Bills passed on this guy 7 or 8 times in the draft despite his offensive coordinator being here. Should tell you all you need to know about Mr. Scarbough. However, now he can start his career in politics.
  9. The absolute worst. Loud and ignorant. The amount of NJ residents who attend UB also produces an influx of them to the area. Dont discount the quarterback position. I couldn't stand watching Tyrod anymore but he was a veteran who had seen certain scenarios and knew what to do where Peterman and Allen are doing the baptism by fire thing. Tyrod's constant scrambling around in the pocket also made it harder for defenders. The loss of Wood and Incognito are big, the schedule is brutal, and I don't expect as many turnovers from the defense. Maybe they win 6-9 games again but I don't think someone is stupid for noticing the lack of talent on the roster.
  10. Schmidt's issue was the team being able to save 1.25 million dollars by cutting him. He was in a contract year and they knew they werent going to extend him beyond this year. As such, they may as well look for someone younger and cheaper to try and develop.
  11. Xavier Sua Filo, David Amerson, Leonard Johnson, Roger Lewis, Kendall Wright. Also really liked Carl Davis coming out of Iowa but he hasn't done much for them to consider releasing Washington to sign him.
  12. Feel the same way regarding the craziness around Ray Ray McCloud. You'd think we have the next DeSean Jackson on the team
  13. If they think he is better than Miller or Ducasse they will. Not sure they will move Teller off the roster for him and expose their draft pick to waivers.
  14. .My favorite part of this post is someone giving Bryant credit for projected games he never played and then giving someone else crap for quoting his actual real life stats. I would love to try that at my job. "Granted I didn't show up half the year but given my high performance the first half of the year you have to assume every other day I would have shown up but didnt, would have been exactly the same regardless of circumstances" You get credit for the things you do, not the things someone thinks you will do. The guy is a tall wideout who ran the 9 route well for a bit of success. He is also 27 years old, never played a full NFL season and appears to like weed more than football.
  15. I was a bit more optimistic in the Spring. But I expected a lot more from the linebackers, cornerbacks and defensive line throughout camp and the preseason. Not feeling real good about the talent on the roster and would not be surprised in the least if they are picking top 3 in April.
  16. Xavier Sua Filo . He has at least started games in the last few years.
  17. Would love to see the numbers on that. Long term you're probably correct but In would highly doubt "most" 7th round picks are cut in their first year.
  18. Man, these guys with all their passive language. I believe a big trade may or may not be coming, but probably is or isnt. Most likely this weekend or sometime between January and December. Stay Tuned!
  19. I understand and ultimately it's fine. I just dont like the trend of using 7th round picks on guys who don't make the team
  20. Not sure what the hell Beane was thinking with the Coleman trade. Did the same garbage with Kaelin Clay last year.
  21. Glad the Bills didnt get into a bidding war. The Bears got absolutely fleeced. The market for Mack should have been closer to what the Patriots got for Chandler Jones and that wasnt even a first. Only a few players in the league are worth more than one first and they are both quarterbacks. If Trubisky sucks the Bears will have a long hole to climb out of
  22. He was arrested last year. But the cornerback who just got out of prison is Sean Smith.
  23. I'll bet the under on this one. Carolina's depth isn't all that great and at this point the Bills backups are almost all players Beane or McDermott hand selected. 1 at most. Could see them bringing in Daryl Worley at CB if the Raiders cut him though.
  24. Not sure why everyone is getting on the guys case for bringing this up. Lawson has literally played DT in this scheme, both during the season last year and during this preseason. I agree. They should be moving him around because he doesnt have the first step to be a pass rusher.
  25. Licht loves him some Ryan Griffin. It seems like every time he speaks about his quarterbacks, whether Griffin is asked about or not, he works his name in there. The Glazers made a big mistake bringing Koetter and Licht back this year.
