No Swift at Highmark thanks to Bills Mafia!

You think promoting promiscuity to young girls is classy? -
It's an XP. He needs to hit it well enough so there is no debate.

I thought the comment was about Joe Burrow, he's a martini guy. Herbert strikes me as a fermented mushroom guy.

That dude isn't drinking a beer. He's a martini guy.

the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
thenorthremembers replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Daboll is a prime example of why someone like Ben Johnson is being selective about where he will work. I think Daboll is an excellent coach who players like to play for. Had he went to an organization where he got to help choose his QB he would have been much better off. Now he is a career .398 coach who will be looking for his next job soon. -
TNF: Commanders @ Eagles

First time watching Daniel's. He is the kid every coach tells "you may want to hold that hall higher in your drop" or "you need to reach up in your throwing motion." Then by game 2 of watching him you just say "nevermind" -
Paul has some snap to his punches but lets be honest about what this is, its a money grab. Thankfully Netflix footed the bill for us. Paul has fought three fighters who are actual boxers and is 2-1 against them. The one guy he fought who wasn't past his prime was Tommy Fury, despite his name he isnt a knockout puncher and Paul still lost to him. Paul has purposely fought boxers who have low knockout rates. Anyone tuning in to watch Tyson knock him out is going to be vastly disappointed. Tyson is a legend, but he hasnt won a fight in 21 years. He is 31 years older than Paul. The entire thing is a circus.

I am sure she will inherit plenty of blood money when her war monger father kicks the bucket. -
Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!

Does the guy have a broken wrist? He's missed or played an insignificant number of snaps in 3 of 4 games. I honestly think the Bills would have been willing to give him a 1–2-year deal at the end of the season had he come here and helped the offense. I am all for guys getting healthy but it is getting a little weird. -
Who’s the best Left Tackle you have ever watched?
thenorthremembers replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
The best I recall watching was Jonathan Ogden. He just completely enveloped people. Even when compared with some of the best Left Tackles of all time he seemed on a different level in terms of both size and athleticism. -
Cant be. It is my understanding after reading this board that Beane and McDermott are complete morons for not playing him and releasing him.

My Grandfather had the NFL Films VHS tapes when I was growing up. I watched them relentlessly on the weekends. Coach Robinson was a fixture on a few of those. I always found it very cool that he and John Madden were friends growing up. LA Times did an article about their friendship when Madden passed away a few years back. John Madden's Lifelong Buddy John Robinson Sad to see these last links to a different and less corporate era of football pass away. RIP Coach.

the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
thenorthremembers replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
It may have come from the owner, but Schoen looks to be the reason the Giants wasted another two seasons on Jones. I think the Saquon move was the right one, but man its bit them in the butt. For the sake of the incoming rookie QB the Giants need to tear down and start again. The likelihood the rookie comes in and takes them to the playoffs is low, so you will essentially have a lame duck coach with your franchise QB. Better off to have the franchise QB come in the same year as the new coach. -
I enjoy Locked on Bills as well. Started enjoying Buffalo Plus more and more. I like Rockpile Report as well for the humor. Havent listened since last season though.

Are The Bears Wrecking Caleb Williams?
thenorthremembers replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. He is a rookie. In terms of rookie play he isnt wrecked. If he comes away from one year wrecked its because he is mentally weak and thats not on the Bears. Eberflus will be fired and they bring in an offensive mind to work with him.
