  1. What amazed me was the training facilities for a HS team! It looked like it belonged in the NFL or a major college program
  2. it all depends on how the Bills are doing; the importance of the game; and how the other team is doing If it turns out that the game is for 1st place in the division, it will be a hot ticket If the Bills are not making the playoffs, the Patriots are 3-12, and it is below zero, you can probably get in for free
  3. Who is that mid round QB who is above average... and is above average if forced to play as a rookie w no prior game experience?
  4. It is just pre season I watched the highlights and saw Shane Buechle as the QB with significant playing time - I never even heard of him - let alone knew he was on the team The bears scored most of their points in the 4th quarter - probably nobody on the field for either team then will make the the NFL
  5. 1972 Lakers Wilt Chamberlain Jerry West Elgin Baylor Gail Goodrich Happy Hairston Keith Erickson Jim McMillian John Trapp Leroy Ellis Jim Cleamons Pat Riley Flynn Robinson Had we not traded AD for Billy Knight and traded Malone for $, we would have had a frontcourt of 3 HOF'ers: McAdoo, Dantley and Malone. Possibly one of the greatest ever and could have competed for titles Thank you Paul Snyder and John Why?
  6. I think that having Super Bowl experience is much more valuable than Stanley Cup Experience 1. One game vs Seven 2. Much more hype, media scrutiny and buildup to the game 3. All on the road vs being at home and having games in your own building
  7. .. and any other posters. please take down your listing if a) tix are already sold b) you don't need tix anymore c) the game has already been played Thanks - it makes it so much easier for those looking to buy or sell tix to not have to sift through outdated listings Go Bills - can't wait until the Listing title is "Super Bowl TIx Needed!" or "VIP tickets needed for Bills Super Bowl Parade"
  8. I remember listening to that game while at Chestnut Ridge Park - we lost 48 to 6
  9. We were over the cap and most of the players that were let go were a combo of a) too expensive b) on the down side of their careers c) apparent malcontents d) coming off injuries We traded down JUST 5 spots and ended up with a 3rd round pick and much better draft positions - I think a pretty good move I am sure Beane's plan is to use some of those later picks to get us back into better position in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and we can end up with hopefully 4 or 5 starters out of the draft
  10. pick 12 and not a single Defensive player picked - All QB, WR and OT Tells you where GM's prioritize
  11. Was at that game - think were shut out 19-0 IIRC, we once had a 4th and 52 from our 2 yard line
  12. Anyone who thinks they can complete a single pass (that is not a shovel pass) is totally delusional You have no ideal of how a) how much chaos is going on with each play b) how fast and athletic the defenders are c) how you would probably not even be able to see past the line of scrimmage In HS, me and 2 friends played 3 on 1 against a 6"5 scrub who was on the NBA Buffalo Braves. We could not get a shot off as somehow he was able to cover all 3 of us at once (and yes we were spread out - one on each base line and one at the foul line)
  13. Totally agree (but would say the 2nd and 3rd rounds) - that way you are getting a whole slew of theoretically good players and all on relatively cheap contracts
  14. 2 of the 5 First round QB's already traded: Wilson and Fields likely to be as well Fields is only one of the 4 that will actually be garner more than a mid to late round draft pick
  15. I think we only draft/sign Isaiah's who are WR's!
  16. The site only shows what people are asking. Is there any place that shows the price PSL's have actually sold?
  17. Why waste a pick on someone who will hopefully never play and if he is forced to play, do you want to entrust our season to a late round inexperienced Rookie qb
  18. He decided to stay in college for one more year - had he come out earlier he was considered an overall #1 pick
  19. Went to Minneapolis and Pasadena (IIRC we lost both of those) Face Value back then was $150 and could scalp for around $400. Cool stat - my dad RIP went to Super Bowl 1 - was in LA for a conference and splurged $5 for a ticket I still have the program he bought for us
  20. Could it be colder weather later in the season
  21. He will be paying 37% Federal Tax and 12% California State - so he will be paying around $7 million per year in income taxes Our National Debt is around $34 Trillion or equal to $1 million for EACH man, woman, and child - so $1 million from each of the categories you suggest is barely a drop in the bucket
  22. Would be interesting to see how these compare to the league averages
