  1. Crazy thing about Todd Collins is that he hung around the NFL for 16 years - 13 of them after he left Buffalo. In the first 10 years, after he left the Bills threw a grand total of 27 passes
  2. I think there was a post a few weeks ago which listed a whole explanation by Belichick on why back up QB's are not used anymore.
  3. To me it looked like JA jumped to make the throw and Clark hit him while he was already in the air
  4. In general, it seemed to me that the run blocking was not very good. It seemed that the RB's were stuffed at the line of scrimmage quite frequently which lead to many 2nd and 3rd and long's.
  5. Hyde and Poyer are amongst the Bills' all time great FA signings
  6. That was the aspect of the defense that stood out the most to me. Every time they completed a short pass, there was a total swarm of Bills around the receiver. It seemed they had no YAC as a 5 yard completion stayed a 5 yard completion and not 15 yards and a first down. Frazier called a great game, and the Bills D executed it to perfection
  7. a few times during the game, I thought a penalty flag was thrown, but it was only the gloves

  9. There is a game there this coming February which we'd all love to see the Bills in!
  10. Since we won those 3 games by average of over 30 points, not sure he was the "difference maker
  11. just because the Lions have one playoff win in the last 65 years does not make them bad
  12. how about when Dave Winfield in 1983 killed a seagull on between inning throws and was "arrested for animal cruelty https://jaysjournal.com/2020/03/22/blue-jays-obscure-memories-dave-winfield-accidentally-kills-bird/
  13. Trevor Lawrence and Zach Wilson were drafted high by teams that were the worst in the league , whereas Mahomes and JA were drafted by decent teams that traded up for them, so they both were coming into much better team talent situations. Also, Trevor and Zach are both with rookie head coaches which certainly does not help
  14. I had Rams season tickets and was sent a detailed survey on my views on pricing and options on PSL's. I have 8 Bills tix and was not sent any info. Did any season tix holders receive a survey?
  15. Not unexpected, but the problem is that not only do you pay for the PSL but you still have to pay for your tickets which I am sure prices will go up. I have 8 lower level seats between the yard lines. I don't think I would want to pay $20,000 to $40,000 for the right to buy my season tickets where the price will go up from 135 a ticket to probably 200 a ticket (and those seats were $90 just a few years ago) I had great Rams seats when they first came back to LA, but it was around $50K to buy a PSL so I gave them up when they moved to SOFI
  16. As with all "all time" lists, hard to compare TE's from different eras 1. TE's are now much featured in an offense - before they were basically glorified "Tackle Eligibles" 2. In general, all receiving stats these days are so much more inflated due to a. the emphasis on passing game and b. the more liberal rules allowed to the offense t
  17. .. and to top it off , the punt went into the end zone so only got a touchback!
  18. ... but after a turnover, having the whole defense running the entire length of the field, sliding in the endzone, and doing a choreographed routine is not?
  19. One of of my 'favorite' lines that he said that all announcers say: "The FORMER first round draft pick" No - if you are drafted in the first round, you are always a first round pick. you never lose that status
  20. lookin good on Singletary!
  21. A. The difference between oldest and youngest teams is pretty small: youngest (25.1) oldest (27.0) so we are actually right in the middle of the pack B. This takes into acct the entire roster. A more indicative stat might be average age for starters. C. This does not take into account Standard Deviation. Two teams could both be exactly 27 years on average, but one could be 100% of the players are 27 and another could have equal # of players from 21 to 33. Clearly the age profile on these 2 teams is quite different
  22. really insightful - gives a perspective that the average fan does not not have
  23. That is a very generic statistic (as most are) It does not take into account; - how much you are down by (losing by 20 is included in losing by 10) - when in the game you are down (e.g. are you down early in 1st quarter or late in the 4th) - that the offense might come back, take the lead, and then the defense blows the game on the last play
  24. Section 111 ========= - Row 8 on the aisle on the 50 yard line (2) - Row 9 two seats in from the 50 (2) - almost directly behind the first pair - Row 14 on the 47 (4) $200 per ticket PAYPAL DM if interested and include your email Have rest of season available as well Go Bills
