Justin Zimmer signed to active roster
BurpleBull replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wait a minute, if he's been as bad as you say he has, then wouldn't he need to make a ton more impact plays like the one he made vs. the Pats to offset the myriad of bad plays that you have on him in your vault? He's already exceeded expectations based on what, if you're not acknowledging the pluses that he's shown, minus the forced fumble on Cam? How could he be the best the Bills have at DT without being any good? You'd be suggesting that Ed Oliver, for one, is chop liver at that point. Feel like I'm getting double-talk from a person whose hot take on Zimmer was shredded this past Sunday especially, but is dead-set on maintaining his stance to save face. Video evidence shows that Zimmer is always hustling trying to make a play, and using his brute strength to harass the quarterback and help at slowing the ground attack. -

You finally posted a response a whole seven days later, but I'm the lazy one. Lol Why would I go through this thread to prove your point when my opinion was established from watching the same game these clips were pulled from? Zimmer's physical strength and athleticism is undeniable, so I'm confident that the coaching staff will find ways to utilize that to help this defense get better as the season goes on. -

He is so overlooked it's crazy, because he's in on so many plays; he's consistently pushing back the guy(s) blocking him and he strong enough to hold up at point of attack. I think he's a real gift to the D-line. -

Sorry, gotta bump this. Lol What were you saying about Zimmer? Can't always wait for PFF to tell you that one of your player's is good. -
MONGO! Feliciano activated
BurpleBull replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We just need Ford to return and moved back to RG and the run game will take off. -
Dez Bryant signed by the Ravens...

He's the type of guy that Lamar Jackson can vibe with and whose career he can help revive. Two players who play with passion. -

I didn't see the video you're talking about, but I saw last week's game against the Chiefs. He was in on a lot of tackles and a few were for losses. He was able to get push into the backfield often (even though it didn't lead to a sack) and showed chase-down ability. -

THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATER LIES TOLD!!!! SORRY, THIS IS SO BAD THAT IT MUST BE TYPED IN ALL CAPS. It's a shame just how many people bought this lie, as evidenced with the 'thumbs up' votes. Zimmer is actually the brightest spot on the D-line right now, he made positive plays throughout the Chiefs game. Something seemed to go awry almost every time Ed Oliver stepped onto the field. This is just a ginormous lie and it shows how uninformed Bills' fans can be. I expect a big improvement on the D-line if Zimmer s given more snaps. Probably the most physically imposing player on the defense; the coaches have to find a way to get Ed Oliver impacting the defense because right now his play is underwhelming---not very dominant at all. -
Allen’s weapons relative to Tenn/KC
BurpleBull replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Feliciano is key; he has the attitude on the O-line to go along with strength. I think we could survive easily on Feliciano and Spain---if McDermott ever went back to him---until Ford returned. -

I think Feliciano back would make a world of difference in the run game. Kick Ford back to RG and play Feliciano at LG. That would alleviate the O-line issues I think, then it's on Moss from there. I wasn't feeling the Moss pick at all, because of his lack of breakaway speed paired with Singletary's didn't make sense to me. I warmed up after repeatedly watching his highlights and listening on the intricacies that possibly made Moss better than I was giving him credit for. I'm hopeful that Moss will turn it on and show why so many people in here wanted him drafted. -
Lorax discusses Tremaine Edmunds

To be fair @ 8:36 the guy breaking down the vid uses the same term. -
Tyrel Dodson getting more snaps than AJ Klein

Has Dodson showed you something that would suggest that he isn't very good? -
Evaluating trades: Wyatt Teller breaking out
BurpleBull replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So many peopel Much like most of us knew that Quinton Spain would be a permanent fixture in the O-line, when it was obvious that Spain was being overrated. -
I think Tremaine's somewhat of a finesse LB in general, love him when his game's on, but when he's getting wiped out of plays by blockers or avoiding of contact and wiping himself out of plays, I just sigh.
-
No way they take Taron Johnson's spot, it's like having an extra LB or SS in the lineup when he's out there. Tremaine Edmunds could learn a thing or two on how to tackle from TJ.

The Legend of Josh Allen...
BurpleBull replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard he now slides as part of a business decision, rather than take Josh Allen head on. -
This thread is kinda ridiculous. Mahomes doesn't need his arm to be any better than it already is, he's already won a Super Bowl and been named league MVP all before the age of 25; who cares if Allen's arm strength rates out at 99 in Madden and Mahomes a 98? Don't see the point of this diatribe against the league's other MVP...almost reads like it was put together by an impassioned, semi-disgruntled Ravens' fan with the intent of e-mailing it to Ozzie Newsome and the Baltimore front office to voice his concern...but it really reads like Lamar Jackson's success and the very idea of Kyler Murray succeeding strikes a special nerve in you.

Cody Ford at LG; Quinton Spain benched
BurpleBull replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mentioned a while back that I didn't think Spain was a better option at LG than Spencer Long. I'm just glad that Ford showed ability and promise at LG, I didn't think that was in him. -
Russell Wilson Says He’s the Best in NFL

Nah, it's Josh Allen. Still hasn't thrown one red zone INT in his career. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. -
Edit: NFL removes Bass's kick from All-22 video
BurpleBull replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bass needs to act on righting his kick so that the football travels through the center of the uprights.
