Or you an honest, English major. 3rd and 6 is not the same as 3rd and 8. Your presentation of info suggests exactly what I stated it did: Bias and a willingness on your part to throw anything related to Nathan Peterman out there with total disregard for facts. You present opinion as if fact and when presented with fact you attempt to do away with the validity of the fact. BurpleBull and Patrick_Duffy, same person, two profiles? Must be, after all, we were both able to point out the same, obvious contradiction found in Mr. Quick-Witted's post during his effort to discredit Peterman.

I know what I typed originally and I shortened my response because I realized even that two sentence response, was too much given in response to such a nonsensical assumption. To your question, I responded "Being that we aren't the same person, no' and 'Why would someone create a second profile to express a view?".

Imagine that, one Peterman supporter and one QB-neutral Bills' fan, we both picked out the same piece in your comment that illustrates Peterman's recognition of the busted play...and of course your take overrides both. You also failed to answer the question I posed in response in to your post: Was the 'stupid 3 yard pass' to a covered receiver on 3rd and 6, before or after he brought the team back through the air?

Are you faulting Peterman for recognizing the weakness and exploiting it? Peterman located and exploited weaknesses versus the Panthers' 1st team defense. Is it his fault that he was out there against Bengals' third string defenders who made the job easier for him? Was the 'stupid 3 yard pass' before or after he brought the team back through the air?

Exactly! Nassib sacked Allen but it wasn't him with the penalty, it was another player on the line who got called for a 'hands to the face' penalty to a lineman. If not for the penalty, the Bills' are punting and it's highly unlikely that anyone gets the chance to rave about a long scoring drive that Allen ended with a TD...at least not on that series. Furthermore, on that drive although Allen made some nice completions, it was Marcus Murphy who accounted for much of the drive's yards. Do you really think his anti-Peterman supporters haven't gone back to scrutinize the game and the numbers? They have. They just won't present any evidence that will take away from Allen's great, but somewhat of an illusion of a performance.

I think the fact that Peterman is 24 years-old vs. 27 years-old, no frills to his game, yet very solid, is exactly why people are quick to dismiss or downplay a solid showing from him. Folks don't want there to be any challenge to Allen's throne...certainly not from another QB just two years his senior. When would 9-10/ 116 yds 1 TD and 8-10/ 113 yds 1 TD performances be accepted as solid outings from anyone outside of Josh Allen? If those stat lines came from an almost thirty-year-old, veteran 'bridge' QB, signed on a two-year deal. When wouldn't they? The answer is obvious.
