  1. Yet many people became 'okay' with the idea of McCarron starting the season opener with Allen sitting behind him, after his first preseason showing. Not so much by the end of his second game. Preseason is pretty much all you have to judge one by.
  2. Yep. And all he did was average 11 yds per att. in both games.
  3. "There are no style points in football, only points that count are the ones that win games". ---Burplebull
  4. I think he expressed exactly what he meant and to that, he got a response.
  5. Mind you, he's criticizing a four-yard completion on third down in the fourth quarter, that left the Bills' in field goal range, after Peterman helped to regain the lead.
  6. Or you an honest, English major. 3rd and 6 is not the same as 3rd and 8. Your presentation of info suggests exactly what I stated it did: Bias and a willingness on your part to throw anything related to Nathan Peterman out there with total disregard for facts. You present opinion as if fact and when presented with fact you attempt to do away with the validity of the fact. BurpleBull and Patrick_Duffy, same person, two profiles? Must be, after all, we were both able to point out the same, obvious contradiction found in Mr. Quick-Witted's post during his effort to discredit Peterman.
  7. What exactly was I trying to convince people to believe?
  8. I know what I typed originally and I shortened my response because I realized even that two sentence response, was too much given in response to such a nonsensical assumption. To your question, I responded "Being that we aren't the same person, no' and 'Why would someone create a second profile to express a view?".
  9. Peterman didn't face a 3rd and 6 play where he passed short of the sticks. This along with other things you've posted, highlights your general disregard for accuracy when it pertains to Peterman and your obvious bias against him.
  10. "TD Burger Flipper" would work too...he just needs a move to the Washington, D.C. area.
  11. Oh, so now you've moved on to bigger and better things, like determining what questions are and are not relevant in a discussion. I'll go back and pull it up for myself.
  12. You lost me at "Brah". I think this actually serves as a window into your reality. We're halfway through the Preseason!!! Predict who wins the starting QB job for Week 1 Multiple exclamation points ??? Check. Those numbers do in fact reflect reality...brah.
  13. Imagine that, one Peterman supporter and one QB-neutral Bills' fan, we both picked out the same piece in your comment that illustrates Peterman's recognition of the busted play...and of course your take overrides both. You also failed to answer the question I posed in response in to your post: Was the 'stupid 3 yard pass' to a covered receiver on 3rd and 6, before or after he brought the team back through the air?
  14. This pretty much illustrates the recognition of a defensive weakness.
  15. Agree 100%. Either that or create a 4th team offense and relegate him to it ASAP.
  16. Are you faulting Peterman for recognizing the weakness and exploiting it? Peterman located and exploited weaknesses versus the Panthers' 1st team defense. Is it his fault that he was out there against Bengals' third string defenders who made the job easier for him? Was the 'stupid 3 yard pass' before or after he brought the team back through the air?
  17. Wish he hadn't gotten injured. He seemed like an intriguing prospect and was spoken well of in the Panthers' game. Meanwhile this guy Tyler Davis is still on the roster as a placekicker.
  18. How do Peterman's stats reflect a false reality and what is that false reality? Are you suggesting that more has been added onto Allen's plate than Peterman's by the coaches?
  19. Based on what? The Chargers' game from last year or is it the out route throw? Assuming both are named starters...Nathan Peterman vs. Tyrod Taylor. Right out the gate, I thought Peterman was better at going through his progressions and finding the open man than Taylor. That's kind of important.
  20. Exactly! Nassib sacked Allen but it wasn't him with the penalty, it was another player on the line who got called for a 'hands to the face' penalty to a lineman. If not for the penalty, the Bills' are punting and it's highly unlikely that anyone gets the chance to rave about a long scoring drive that Allen ended with a TD...at least not on that series. Furthermore, on that drive although Allen made some nice completions, it was Marcus Murphy who accounted for much of the drive's yards. Do you really think his anti-Peterman supporters haven't gone back to scrutinize the game and the numbers? They have. They just won't present any evidence that will take away from Allen's great, but somewhat of an illusion of a performance.
  21. I think the fact that Peterman is 24 years-old vs. 27 years-old, no frills to his game, yet very solid, is exactly why people are quick to dismiss or downplay a solid showing from him. Folks don't want there to be any challenge to Allen's throne...certainly not from another QB just two years his senior. When would 9-10/ 116 yds 1 TD and 8-10/ 113 yds 1 TD performances be accepted as solid outings from anyone outside of Josh Allen? If those stat lines came from an almost thirty-year-old, veteran 'bridge' QB, signed on a two-year deal. When wouldn't they? The answer is obvious.
  22. Just as you've cemented the fact that you're quick to make the snarky comment. Allen is the subject in that discussion, not Peterman.
