  1. Year 1 and Year 2 RGIII isn't much different from Josh Allen currently, in terms of being an unfinished product with immense talent; I don't know of another story that had a heralded, rookie QB (Top 3 pick) entering the league to rejuvenate a fanbase/org. by taking its franchise to the playoffs the same season, only to find himself off of the team roster two seasons later without dreadful numbers that might support his dismissal. The Shanahans nor Gruden, were invested in the development of RGIII, certainly not the way McDermott and Daboll are with Josh Allen, and that much was obvious.
  2. Good. Glad both coaches from the RGIII era have suffered the same fate RGIII was forced to face. Hope the Skins get an actual good coach, versus the latest hype coach, to usher in the Dwayne Haskins era.
  3. You make your table, you gotta lay under it.
  4. Can already hear the chants: "Younghoe sucks! Younghoe sucks!".
  5. If anything, it might make Josh Allen scale back the aggression behind his runs; after all, the hit happened on a scramble, not on a QB blitz like with Trent Edwards. A person's inner wiring can't be undone so easily (consider JA's tendencies to still force certain passes because his arm strength allows for it). JA has inner toughness, Edwards on the other hand, never epitomized toughness even before the hit.
  6. This is a gotta-win game if the Bills have truly arrived: lose and the Bills are trying to re-establish themselves as relevant out of the bye. Big difference between losing two games after five games and losing two after seven.
  7. No sense in trying to downplay Josh Allen's negatives by using the "EVERY QB" argument; not every QB is in his second season battling the same bad tendencies from college that got him labeled 'erratic' entering the league. I believe Josh Allen's word is good when he says that he's going to make those up-for-grabs INT's a thing of the past (or at least greatly reduce the number of them), but until then, why would you expect people to see him as equally polished a QB as Daniel Jones has shown in the preseason and in his first start? Daniel Jones is sharp as hell with his accuracy, can throw on the move, is mobile and poised, and because of that people feel of all the NY QB's, Jones is most representative of a franchise QB; what's the problem? The Bills still have the most dynamic QB by far and he's already showing that he can lead his team to victory, even when trailing, as you point out; I have no doubt that Allen will continue to refine his game, which will only lead to him doing greater things, and then people will have no choice but give him his dues or be exposed as the haters they are.
  8. I was hopeful Peko would be retained after his performance in the final preseason game...he gives an honest effort...he's a process guy.
  9. The jury should still be out on Josh Allen; I feel good about the direction Josh Allen is heading, but he does still play erratically at times (the toss up interceptons) and I would also like to see him go through his progressions more to find to the open man instead of locking in on Cole Beasley so much. Daniel Jones is hella good and he's shown better at the point in his young career than Allen did his; he looked good in preseason and he led a comeback in place of a future Hall of Famer. It's early but you can see that Jones has the potential to be really good, the early praise is understandable. FTR I'm completely cool with Josh Allen's backyard-style improvisation as long as turnovers don't come along with it too often.
  10. Call up Kyle Peko; he stood out that final preseason game and was a big reason for the comeback win.
  11. The 2015 season ultimately blew up in his face, so I have to disagree.
  12. Just when you think the Rex Ryan era is completely phased out... Brandon Beane for Executive of the Year if he can some how flip these fans for a late seventh round pick.
  13. Hopefully that's not a foreboding of things to come...I prefer for them to be as overconfident as the Giants' fans were. Crossing my fingers.
  14. If this new Bills team believes that this is the season where they make the transition from basement-dweller to title contender and need to believe as a team that they've reached that point of controlling their own destiny, then they need to beat a struggling Bengals' team to add to the momentum of a 2-0 start. A loss would be a setback IMO; I think it is a must-win for the sake of team morale/player psyche.
  15. It was in an article, but I got the sense that he was talking about being underrated by fans (non-Bills) and the media, due to what's asked of him within the defense. I think Bills' fans might really need to make a concerted effort to try and get TreD voted into the Pro Bowl if he's deserving; otherwise, he may begin feeling like the only way to receive that recognition as one of the best, is by playing elsewhere on defense. Hopefully the league and media would do its part after that. Another Stephen Gilmore-type story could be in place if TreD were to leave.
  16. Agreed. The turnout in the other team's stadium these past games, really makes you feel proud to be a part of it.
  17. I honestly wasn't familiar with Pancho Billa before catching wind of his battle; I always considered the Chef and Elvis as being the equivalent of Fireman Ed.
  18. Not for a prima donna who isn't part of the nucleus that helped transform the secondary into what it is today, coming in to steal shine from the unit and replace core guys. I enjoy watching Levi Wallace's development and wouldn't trade what he brings to the table for Ramsey.
  19. Yeah I just read that Shump is really good too; I'm gonna give him a listen right now.
  20. He ain't messing with Dame Lillard...don't even need to hear it.
  21. Always doin' your part!
  22. Don't know if it's too early to regard this a 'trap game', but I hope the D-line plays with the same intensity; without pressure on Manning I feel like this could end up being one of those games everyone thought we had in the bag. If the defense doesn't hold up, I'm hoping Allen, Singletary, and the rest of the offense can hold it down for the defense, like the defense did for offense, until it can regroup. Hope the effects Levi Wallace's current injury isn't lingering leading up to Sunday; I think he may be needed for this game more than many may feel at the moment. Let's bring it!
  23. Both are the bad kind of male, just in different ways; you both assist in establishing disorder at the end of the day. I fall into neither category, but if you can prove that I fall into one or the other, feel free to do s
  24. Nope, just the type to hold females accountable for their decisions/actions, versus giving them a Get out of Jail Free card because of their gender. Foreign concept to your kind.
