  1. You should grade the GM and the coach on wins and losses by the team instead of the success of an individual. Not saying that the performance of Allen won't have a huge impact on the record, but the rest of the players drafted will impact it as well.
  2. And Phillips. And Johnson. And Croom. And Foster. And Ray Ray. And Teller. And who he drafts next year (we have 10 picks at the moment) and who he drafts in 2020.
  3. Which free agent signings are you saying look bad? I hope you are not talking about any players that haven't played a real game yet. That would be ignorant.
  4. Tre White, Dion Dawkins, Zay Jones, Matt Milano, Josh Allen, Tre Edmunds, Harrison Phillips and now that new punter. That's the list so far. The rest of the trades and signings are place holders and cap $ clearings until next year. A few may stick around for another contract like KB, Poyer and Hyde, but don't count on it. If you don't like those players, which I think is fair, then you probably don't like Beane and McD and you probably won't like what they do with the 65 million they cleared next year.
  5. Good call Sky. Hope he can learn to track it after he gets behind em all.
  6. He will be on the PS. Hopefully he can hone his skills.
  7. You are right Brees wasn't traded, but he was not kept by the Chargers either. The Chargers drafted Rivers #4 overall because the Chargers thought "Brees couldn't play at a high level". After drafting Rivers, "Brees lit the place on fire". Those are your words not mine. So explain to me then if Peterman "lights the place on fire" (which is basically the OP's scenario) after drafting Allen #7 how is it not a similar situation? What difference does it make what round Peterman was drafted in if he "lights the place on fire"? If its because you don't think it's plausible Peterman can "light the place on fire" then thats not playing by the rules of the scenario.
  8. Best case scenario... IF Peterman is good this year, it would be reminiscent of the Brees, Rivers situation. Brees drafted in 2001 in second round was mediocre and injured for a couple years. SD drafts Rivers in 2004 and trades Brees. Both go on to possible HOF careers. Buffalo trades Peterman next year and keeps Allen. I'm not comparing the Peterman to Brees but thats the closest I can think of if the 5% chance that Peterman shows possible franchise QB worthiness comes to fruition.
  9. I guess we will have our different opinions on the 2017 sason of the Buffalo Bills and and the first year of Sean McDermott. Remember only 1 team wins the Superbowl and it ain't gonna be the Bills so try not to be so negative little buddy. And some more advice, since I'm in such a good mood this morning and giving it out... There is no need to repeatedly type the same paragraphs over and over to make the same exact point made previously, that takes so much time. I'm sure your device has a copy and paste function. You should use it if you think no one read it the first time and you want to repeat yourself. Have a great day!
  10. I don't understand this post. Who are you comparing in your list of positions? 2016 to last year? Certainly you are not comparing anyone to 2018 because the season hasn't started yet. You know that right? I want to make sure you know a game that counts hasn't been played.
  11. You are the insulting one sir. You insulted the entire Buffalo Bills team including the coach by reducing the accomplishments of an entire years of work as lucky and non deserving. I simply called you out on it. Look inward and take care of some of your own insulting behaviors before critiquing others.
  12. HAHAHA, typical internet bravado. It would actually be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. You wouldn't say **** to Kyle Williams nor should you. The Buffalo Bills busted their ass for 4 months last year and won 9 NFL football games. Things went their way on the last Sunday, no one will deny that, but making the playoffs is a year long effort. If the Chargers wanted to be in the playoffs they shouldn't have gotten beat by the pathetic Dolphins or Broncos. Any other team that didn't make the playoffs last year should have won more games over those 4 months. By picking a game or a week or a play as to why any team did or didn't make the playoffs is ignorant and shows how simplistic you are. Oh and another thing, the Bills were predicted to win 5 games by nearly every media "expert" last year until they traded all the crap your boy Sexy Rexy compiled. After that they were "tanking" and might win 2 or 3. So in all actuality the "wunderkind" outperformed all expectations by roughly 5 games. So you and your ilk continue to talk all your ignorant **** preseason and I'll wait a few months to see where things stand after games are played.
  13. I wish I could watch you go up to Kyle Williams and say exactly what you just typed directly to his face. It would be fantastic.
  14. Is this entire thread based off the result of a preseason game? Methinks most internet forum GM's and coaches should wait to spew their hate until after the first game that counts. And FYI, comparing this regime after one solid season to the previous and coming to the conclusion the previous was better is almost laughable.
  15. How about Lawson grabbing Newhouse by the facemask and pulling him around like a little B word.
  16. Drop off from first to second string on defense is always shocking to me.
  17. No shady, No Dawkins. It will be better. Relax folks.
  18. Could it be possible that the Bengals are the best team in the NFL?
  19. I know it's just preseason and it doesn't matter, but I hope this fires someone up.
  20. I don't expect anyone in the national media to be an experts on the Buffalo Bills or their QB. But I do expect them to be unbiased in their reporting when they are watching the team and said QB on the field. The fact is Allen outplayed or at the very least played on par with the medias darling Rookie QB Baker Mayfield and the media is being disingenuous to this fact to protect their narrative over the past 6 months. This is when it becomes Fake News. The media will protect their progostications til the bitter end and when wrong hope enough time passes by that the masses will forget. You don't have to be drinking the koolaid to see that.
  21. Oooo, since there is a Jets fan here I have a question you might be able to answer.... Have you seen Darnold throw a pass over 10 yards in practice yet? It looks to me you have a captain check down on your hands, but I haven't seen any of the practices.
  22. There will be enough money for that if you pay Mack. But that being said, Dawkins, if he becomes the franchise LT, won't have to be paid until 2021 or 2022 which is the most expensive position on the line. IMO McD and Daboll will go the way of the Pats I regards to WR's. Edge rusher is arguably the second most important position on the field. If there is an opportunity to get a proven top 4 edge rusher and check it of the list they should do it. As I type this I realize there is no way the Raiders are trading Mack.
  23. It all depends on Josh Allen in my opinion. If over the next month Beane and McD thinks he looks to be the QB for the next 5 years, you can give Mack QB money for those 5 years, the cap won't be an issue and you have your edge rusher taken care of. The Raiders have already paid Carr and the Packers have to pay Rogers. I'm not sure it will happen, but the Bills could do it financially and I think Beane is in the mix.
  24. OK brah. Hold onto your completion percentage stat to decide how to handle the playing time of Allen since you are obviously too simple minded to account for anything else. The rest of us, which I guarantee includes the coaches, will look at the the entire body of work and make a proper evaluation. I hope your magic number of 60% shows up soon so you can feel good about playing the kid without "destroying him".
