  1. No one on the roster would have been better AND it is not good enough. If it was good enough he would be playing Sunday. But now NP is on the roster and we are going to see if he can do better and hopefully it will be good enough. Ruling out the draft pick from last year as being the franchise QB without playing him is ignorant. Thankfully McD isn't ignorant.
  2. I can understand your argument about wanting to keep Tyrod on the field. It's the safe way to go. His stats tell a story of decent and mistake free football. But you are quickly becoming an unreadable poster with your infatuation with the topic. Barring injury the Tyrod Taylor experiment is over brah. It's over and with good reason. He was given every opportunity to succeed and he simply doesn't have the talent or the mental toughness to get it done as a starting QB in the NFL. Nathan Peterman will be the QB for the rest of this year and hopefully for the next 10 years. Have a drink, close your eyes and say your goodbyes to Tyrod. You will feel much better in the morning.
  3. Interesting that you only think the trade for Benjamin was only a win now move. Also interesting that you believe they don't have a plan and direction when every move made has been quickly, concisely and without fear to follow a plan. Making moves that quite frankly no regime has ever made so quickly to completely turn over a roster in 2 to 3 months in the history of the NFL. I'm not sure if you have been paying attention the last 6 months. You can disagree with the plan and the direction, but to say there is none is outright ignorant.
  4. The young guys cost a lot of money. There was a stink to the culture and the locker room that needed a change. You can't pay the young guys who haven't won amid the stink all that money and hope for a different result. So they decided to remove those young guys and receive high draft picks and at the same time keep high quality veterans to help remove the stink. They also signed and drafted some high character young guys to build on. Hyde, Poyer, White, Jones, Matthews, Gaines, Benjamin, Milano and of course Peterman. Should be a great group to root for for the next 5 years. Much better than what they let go IMO. Oh and by the way, they are 5-4. Enjoy the game Sunday. Could be 6-4 Monday. And you don't have to watch the stink of TT either.
  5. That's why he made the switch to Peterman, so there is a chance to make the playoffs.
  6. We would have been 7-2 with JWill. Damn you McD. Damn you....
  7. Don't understand the post but... Okay
  8. TT 2nd half: 9 total plays. 2-6 passing for 15 yards. 1 interception. 2 sacks for -6 yards. Okay.
  9. Nate Peterman got the first first down of the second half....
  10. No way Tyrods makes one of the throws Peterman did in the same garbage time. In fact, I would say that Peterman would have played every passing play in that game better than Tyrod did. It's nearly impossible to be worse than Tyrod was. If any person who has watched Peterman play in the preseason, in practice or in the game yesterday doesn't believe Peterman has the skills and the mental game to be a better QB than TT is lying to themselves. I say this and I'm not 100% sold on playing Peterman yet because I don't think he can lead this group to the playoffs either and it might be best to keep him on the sidelines for the year.
  11. Didn't he have these guys yesterday at home.... After 10 days off? He had 56 yards passing. It was the worst Buffalo QB performance I can remember.
  12. I think you have to give the kid a chance to lead the team to the playoffs, therefore I think the Colts game is too late. If you start him this week, he plays well and they make the playoffs, then there are 5 picks in the first 3 rounds to build around him. If not, draft a QB and they compete. Either way Tyrods fate in 2018 is set with his up and down performance thus far in 2017. I think the vets will understand at this point. Do you know? And if so, how?
  13. Other than Carolina NFC south is not a good conference and I could argue they are average as well. Bills handled Tampa at home, Atlanta on the road and a play away from Carolina on the road. Dome team coming up to play outside in the cold to play a team with 10 days rest after an embarrassing loss? I'll take my chances.
  14. I disagree. I believe they will be gone.
  15. https://twitter.com/SInow/status/926569761034702848 He even called himself a whiney B word.
  16. Most of you folks aren't too bright. He is speaking to the fact that Thursday night games are bad for all players in the NFL. It is a much bigger picture than making excuses for the loss. There are many things the players are upset about and this is one of them. It will be part of the discussion in the next CBA. No question the fact he just got his ass beat didn't help his delivery, but the man feels the same way win or lose as do a large percentage of the player population.
  17. McD and Beane wont take him for free because of the contract. They might take him if the Colts to pay for half of the rest of his salary or give them a third or fourth to take on his salary ala Brock Osweiler...
  18. I doubt there is a team that would give the Colts anything more than a 4th rounder for that player with that contract, especially the Buffalo Bills. No way this team is going to invest 40 million dollars into 800 yards and 6 TDs. It is not the way this team is built. Besides that, McD is not going to inherit a player who has been coached by the likes of Chuck Pagano mid season without knowing the person and having a chance to talk to him about culture and his team outlook. If you havent learned that McD and Beane are not only interested in numbers than I don't know what to say. This team is going with Jones, Matthews, Holmes, DT, Clay, and Oleary.
  19. Yes we were 4-2 as well last year, but we were 4-2 with a miserable head coach, in salary cap hell, a GM who assembled a ego filled locker room with no I for the future and a brand new team owner who was still taking his lumps as he learned his way in the NFL. The 4-2 this year includes 6 picks in the first 3 rounds in the draft next year, a manageable cap, by all accounts a great culture shift and a head coach who has aassembled a veteran staff and who at the very least is.... Coaching. Some of the individual moves made may not turn out to be in the Bills favor, but the overall work done in a short period of time, IMO is nothing short of amazing. I feel great about the rest of this year rooting for this group is fantastic, and the setup for the future looks great too.
  20. Beane has made a bunch of great moves over the past 6 months but without a doubt this is the best. It's a great time to be a Bills fan.
  21. This. Jordan Matthews had surgery on his thumb 2.5 weeks ago and is at practice dying to play on Sunday. You can see it in his actions which backs up what comes out of his mouth. There is no reason to think this same injury wouldn't hinder Sammy for the rest of the year. Sammy plays for himself and the cash at this point of his career. That is why the Bills traded for Jordan Matthews and traded away Sammy Watkins and that is why Sammy will not live up to his talent level. Ask anyone, it's the ultimate team sport.
  22. My guess is Carolina.
  23. I couldn't disagree with this more. A great QB does much better with this crew... it opens up the run... defense puts more effort in the run... Wr's have easier time getting open...etc. etc. etc. Placing no blame on our average at best QB is a joke.
  24. I would be shocked if anyone could name 2 of the 3 starting WR's on more than 10 of the teams in the NFL. Every NFL teams WR corp sucks except about 4. The Bills had a middle of the road receiving core before Clay and Matthews got injured. Now it is near the bottom just like any teams would be if the top 2 threats went down.
  25. I didn't think he would trade Watkins or Darby either. If he thinks there is value, I believe he will pull the trigger. Not a first or second, but if it's something like a 3rd for say a Keenan Allen type where he really feels he's getting value than I could see him doing it. I just don't think those types of trades ever materialize during the season.
