I don't know what Delta Sonic is, but I'm assuming you are trying to be funny and kinda witty with some kind of abstract local reference but it doesn't come off as funny at all. It comes off like your an ignorant lower to middle class comedian wannabee with a hard on for the backup QB of the Buffalo Bills and your trying out some material on a Bills chat board. I'm sure Nate and his hot wife won't need a tip from your poor ass any time soon so you should probably keep it. But I'll give you a tip... Keep your day job brah yo **** ain't funny.

Yep. That's how Vegas does it... They just go ahead and set a line without all of the information they care about. That's how the casinos built all of those big buildings in the middle of the desert. SMH.
-
The line opened at 9.5/10 when the starting QB was unknown. It didn't move off that number when Tyrod was named starter. Vegas doesn't care who starts between the 2 as far as the line is concerned. That's very telling if you ask me. Also after watching SD dismantle Dallas on the road makes me think even moreso that the QB didn't matter last week either. Tyrod loses that game as the starting QB with about the same score as we saw only with sacks, fumbles and punts... I'd say he has this week and next and then he will never start another game for the Bills.

Here's our problem: Draft Rounds 1-3
Bills Pimpin' replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2017: Round 1: Tre White and a 2018 1st. Round 2: Zay Jones Round 2: Dion Dawkins Round 5: Matt Milano Free Agents: Micah Hyde Jordan Poyer Looks like a decent start to me..... -
I agree with a lot of this and I as I said earlier, i believe much of the decision to resign Tyrod was based on his work ethic and leadership qualities and not his ability to lead this team to the playoffs. Then 5-2 happened and they had to shift gears and make a run at it this year so they spent a draft pick to get KB for a playoff run. When Tyrod didn't throw to the dude basically for the entire Saints game (that would seriously piss me off as a head coach) and Tyrod played so poorly McD decided to throw a Hail Mary with Peterman and we all know the outcome. Personally I think he should stick with Peterman at this point, but I can't blame him for going back to an original plan and play Tyrod. That seems plausible tome but of course I could be full of **** too, I'm not in the meetings. I think his biggest mistake was underestimating what the loss of Darius would do to the Dline, especially vs. the run. That side is as much to blame for the 3 game skid as anyone.

http://www.espn.com/blog/new-york-jets/post/_/id/73028/can-these-two-hollywood-qbs-save-new-york-football Part if the reason to start Peterman. The "win later" part. Obviously its never a sure thing but damn it would be fun to have one of these two....

Does anyone care if Tyrod Taylor was the best QB on the roster in 2015 (he was) and how many games the Bills won when he started? (Not enough). Should the answer of these trivia questions have any bearing on the decision to play him at QB this week? Of course not.
-
Um.... How? He has been in the league for 7 years. Don't you think he would have played sooner than 5 years into his career if he was a great player? He is a sixth round pick who outplayed Matt Cassell and EJ Manual to get a starting gig on a perrenial loser with a dumb!@#$ coach and parlayed it into 20 wins by hard work and a good attitude and some leadership ability. And I'm actually impressed by the dude to be as successful as he is with limited size, questionable accuracy, terrible pocket presence and inability to read a defese. The 7 year comment not only isn't clueless, it continues to prove what Tyrod is... An average starting but fantastic backup QB.
-
It's for another thread but there is not a great draft pick I can think of from Whaley. Name one player he drafted that has leadership qualities. I can't think of one. He overspent for talent rich, not bright, me first guys. There wasn't a leader on the team from his regime. McD had to keep all the old guys around and get rid of the young for leadership qualities so he could change the culture. In fact that's why he kept Tyrod around...leadership not talent.
-
Yes he has 20 wins, 7 years in the league and that a commendable achievement in the league. And yes there was some negative commentary from some national media and a few player that I know of publically, but I'm sure you are talking about Richard Sherman. I am certain none that was taken in consideration in either QB decision. Maybe you think it should. Also, I always root for the Bills to win regardless of the QB playing or whether I think it is best for the team long term. You should stop making assumptions and derogatory statements about others on this board who have differing opinions, they are all valid.

I think it's a mistake to start a lame duck QB and although I disagree with the decision to start Tyrod I'm sure the coach has valid reasons for doing so. I don't think it will make a difference in the outcome of the game. Vegas doesn't give a **** about Tyrod playing either... the line moved from Bills +9.5 to +10 yesterday after the annoucement. Peterman and the teams play was just too brutal to play him this week. I don't think he's happy about it either. In the press conference when he said Tyrod needed to "Do his job" I felt like he wanted to say "Do his !@#$ing job and throw the !@#$ing ball". He knows Tyrod can't win in this league. Unfortunately he doesn't have a choice.

Who starts next week: Taylor or Peterman?
Bills Pimpin' replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You folks still don't understand the point. Regardless of how many picks Tyrod would have thrown or not thrown in the game Sunday, the Buffalo Bills we're not going to win that football game. It doesn't matter if Peterman throws a pick or Tyrod takes a sack. I don't hate Tyrod. In fact I don't think the Bills lose as drastically as they did if Tyrod played the first half. But they still lose. And they will lose against the Chiefs and they will lose against the Patriots regardless of the QB. Now you can be delusional and think somehow Tyrod is going to become a franchise QB and lead this team to the playoffs and a chance for the Superbowl but it ain't gonna happen. 0% chance. And in all honesty, I would put the chance that Peterman can ever win a Superbowl at about 20%. Before the game Sunday I would have put it at 30%. There are 6 games to see if that number goes up some or down to 0%. That information is imperative for the future of this franchise. It's time to move on from Tyrod Taylor. Waiting 6 weeks is wasting 6 weeks. -

I never said Taylor would throw 5 picks. I said the result would be the same on the scoreboard. Buffalo would lose on points. Now if the team that throws the least amount of interceptions wins, then I would definitely play Taylor. Unfortunately for the Buffalo Bills, there is more to playing the QB position than a low interception rate. -

1. You've never set foot in that locker room or any locker room as far as I know. "Lose the locker room" is a way over used cliche and when uttered by delusional fans is even worse. 2. Tyrod Taylor is not going to be the difference of whether this team makes the playoffs. In fact there is no proof Tyrod would have fared any different in the first half of the game on Sunday. In fact it was eerily similar to the first half at home versus the Saints. 3. I already think Peterman has more upside than Tyrod so I am not backtracking on that. I do think he will be better given the opportunity. 4. Tyrod was a sixth round pick so please stop comparing these players by draft status. 5. Tyrod is done in Buffalo regardless of your opinion and my opinion. It's time to move on especially for the emotional folks like yourself. -

Who starts next week: Taylor or Peterman?
Bills Pimpin' replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really disagree with this and think it is this way of thinking that has helped keep the Bills out of the playoffs for so many years. I do think there is a responsibility to try to win every game and I don't think McD has ever said differently. But I believe it is just as important a job for the head coach, and maybe more so to win a Championship. That should be the ultimate goal. So I agree with you that McD hasn't given up on the season, but he has to think big picture too and he has. Starting Peterman is a big picture championship seeking decision. Starting Tyrod is a single game winning decision that has haunted this organization for 10 plus years. I'll try the big picture decisions for once and see how it goes. All that being said, I think Peterman will as good as an option as Tyrod in a few weeks if he's allowed to start. -
Who starts next week: Taylor or Peterman?
Bills Pimpin' replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't Tyrod have a strip sack fumble for a touchdown in the second half last week? Wasn't it in mop up duty? To think Tyrod is heads and shoulders above Peterman is crazy. They both have different terrible faults at this point, it's just that Tyrods have been there for 3 years in Buffalo and Peterman has played 1 half and can still learn from it. Tyrod is what he is. No more evaluation needed. -

The kid obviously had a tough day but I would put him back in this week. I can't take another year of average Tyrod and we are not making the playoffs with him so there really isn't much reason to start him IMO. Plus I don't think Tyrod can win the game this week just like he couldnt win the game last week if he started. -

You think Mcd is smart enough to know if Peterman didn't work out it would piss Tyrod off enough to play better? Maybe it will light a fire under him and the whole offense? Or am I just grasping at any thing I can feel good about? -

The only good thing that would have been good about Tyrod being in there is that he wouldn't have thrown such a good ball to KB and got him hurt. -
