More likely that as a former TE he will go on a beast mode run and take it to the house. -
The Ike Boettger appreciation thread

Here is his story from the Athletic: https://theathletic.com/2246393/2020/12/08/bills-ike-boettger-journey/ Started as a QB, became a TE, then a tackle. It's an inspiring read. Hard not to root for the guy. -

The case could be made that right now Rodgers and Brees are better QB's but yeah I agree - Mahomes is the only one with a better all round package moving forward. -

Cole Beasley is the absolute goods. What a signing!

The stickiest pair of hands in the NFL. And possibly more important to our offence and harder to replace than Smoke. Davis can fill in for Smoke - who takes Beasley's place? -
I like Louis Riddick and think he is a very articulate commentator. But let's not forget that he is the guy who said that the Beasley signing was uninspiring because he didn't have the catch radius to help an inaccurate passer. And i have not heard any mea culpa. Which means his comments tonight are a little disingenuous for mine. Not saying he is a Bradsnore, Cowturd or Headacheman, but he could show a bit of humility with his about face.

From the Athletic: Buffalo’s defense has turned a corner. The Bills aren’t a perfect defensive team and are still susceptible to teams overpowering them with their running game. But the pass defense is back to playing the way it did in 2019 when the Bills had one of the league’s best defenses. In the first six games of the season, the Bills were fifth worst in the NFL, allowing a passer rating of 106.9 to opposing quarterbacks. They also allowed 12 passing touchdowns and had only two interceptions during that run. In the five games since then, the Bills are fourth best in the NFL, allowing a passer rating of 77.3. During that stretch, the Bills are also third in the league in both passing touchdowns against (4) and interceptions (6). While they had games against the Jets and Patriots in that five-game period, the Bills also had to face Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray and Herbert the last three weeks.

Not sure about that. We would be underdogs of course, but if our defence improves 10-20% and they are slightly below their best then I don't think that you can rule out a Bills win. -

Week 11 Around the League

Agree....except for the fact that they ultimately won a Lombardi whilst he was on the roster. It would be like Buffalo winning a SB with Fromm - it would suck for Josh but mean everything to the fans. So I won't shed too many years for Philly. -

And to think that after we drafted Josh I was hoping that he would be our own version of Carson Wentz. -

That looked like a wicked hyper extension under the load of a lineman. Only thing stopping him from becoming a top QB is injury. Hope he pulls through. -

11-5 and the division title? -
That depends on your perspective. If you are a lefty - yes. If you are a normal person with a job or a small business - NO! Forced lockdowns by leftist state governments have been a disaster. The economy is in ruins. Not that the left understand or care about the economy. There have also been more deaths by suicide due to lockdown-induced depression than COVID ever could have caused. Worse still - it's young people bearing the brunt. The strategy should have been to isolate and protect people over the age of 70 with co-morbidities. And to keep the economy OPEN. In terms of COVID deaths the numbers might look good but it is a false narrative written up by the left. Situation normal, all f.... up.
