  1. I gave this a like because in theory it could be really interesting to say the least if somehow it ended up being Watson v Mayfield. In reality though, it will likely see Darnold v the Browns backup QB. There is no way that Mayfield will beat out Darnold at training camp whilst he is learning the playbook. Nothing to see here.
  2. My hat goes off to all the good folk who devote some of their valuable time in maintaining the various forums we all frequent.
  3. Sanity prevails. There is now renewed hope for the once great USA.
  4. We don't have the full gammut of options in our part of the world. If you follow the NFL down here, you're watching ESPN - whether you like it or not.
  5. As long as he keeps puking touchdowns after kickoff I'm not bothered.
  6. Damn...only 15 years of tread left on his QB tyres!
  7. A foreigner's opinion: An individual's financial situation is obviously a key consideration. That said, you'll be watching Josh Allen for the next 15 years. Even if you need to take out a loan - it's money well spent IMO.
  8. A first time for everything. Woo-pee! Note that this has only occurred now that the Pat's are an average team. I can't remember Brady going down there early.
  9. my reference is to the fact that we always play them in the searing heat where the fish are acclimated to the humid weather, whilst the Pats always play them in December when conditions are more suited to the visiting team. Our recent success against them is incidental, the point remains - why do the Pat's get the same cosy deal every year whilst we get the short straw.
  10. Why do we always get screwed playing at Miami in September? Why don't the effin Pat's play them in September?
  11. Addison was always a professional and had a work ethic to match. Unfortunately, he's just lost that half-a-step. Good luck Mario and thanks for your efforts in Buffalo.
  12. Same. Articulate, intelligent, humble. Possibly the best introductory interview I have seen at OBD. He has already erased any doubts I had about the pick.
  13. You'll be seeing him multiple times each game holding for PAT's. Laces out please Matt!
  14. Not as well as Haack - he'll have his work cut out
  15. We really need some depth at guard - Saffold is only a 1-year filler and is not great against the pass. Bates has not played a full season and the likelihood that Ford will come good under Kromer is low. Must strengthen the IOL.
  16. Just watched the draft, goddam ass end of the world timezone. When Yolo blows multiple virtual loads over a guy - you know we have our guy!
  17. Be as funny as f*** if they took Matt Araiza.
  18. Hope to land a gem F****d if I know who we'll take Shoot me if its Breece
  19. There are some zinc-rich rebar primers that are actually very effective. The determining factor in terms of their application is the quantity of rust on the rebar. Light surface rust - no problem. Heavy or flaking rust that has penetrated deep into the rebar - game over.
  20. Correct. Once excessive amounts of concrete cancer are evident, it's game over. There are a range of concrete repair products that are actually very good (expensive - but good). However, these are suitable for relatively minor structural rectification works - I suspect that the structural issues with the old Ralph might be of a more substantial nature.
  21. It's vital that you get to the can before you touch cloth.
  22. Many draft experts considered McCargo a late-2nd or early-3rd round pick before the 2006 NFL Draft. Because of this, many people were shocked when the Bills traded up to select him in the first round with the 26th overall selection. McCargo spent most of the 2006 season on injured reserve. He passed out at training camp his rookie season, mainly because he had to run difficult drills in hot weather at his 300-pound frame. He was the second string defensive tackle behind Larry Tripplett in 2007, and played in all 16 games. On October 14, 2008, McCargo was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for an undisclosed draft pick, having been beaten out in the depth chart by Kyle Williams. However, after failing his physical the following day, the trade was voided and McCargo was returned to the Bills. ----------------------------------------------------- So glad those days are behind us.
  23. If Feliciano and Ford are blocking, it may push us back to 32.
  24. I assume they have Mahomes & Rodgers 1-2?
  25. Looks like Beane found a few quarters in the back of the couch.
