Mel is back and I gotta say I love the pick
DJB replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
We see him differently because to me he’s one of only 4 Alphas I see early in this class. One of the youngest available WR’s and plenty of growth still available. -
Not sure there will be any takers with the cap he carries. My guess is he’s simply cut
-
The problem with Legette is that he’s as old as dirt. Guys that breakout late usually don’t have much NFL success.
-
I keep saying it over and over again in this thread. A Mitchell Now I prefer Thomas and Franklin but I really think Mitchell could be the guy
-
Dammit that McDermott quote tells me we are drafting another DL 😭😭😭😭

Bills’ player grades for 2023 from the Athletic and PFF.
DJB replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
56 for Torrence is a joke. PFF continues to show why the numbers are based on majic beans and whether the writers like the player or not -
12 WR’s in the top 50. 2. Marvin Harrison 3. Rome Odunze 4. Malik Nabers 16. Brian Thomas jr 33. Adonai Mitchell 36. Keon Coleman 37. Troy Franklin 41. Xavier Worthy 42. Ladd McConkey 44. Malachi Corley 48. Ricky Pearsall 50. Roman Wilson

Hopefully this means they don’t draft a WR round 1
-
He’s washed so this opens up cap space. Hopefully it means they sign Tua for 70 million a season for the next 10 years lol

Are we looking at it all wrong, esp. With Josh Allen?
DJB replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I really hope we can win one in the next year or two. I’d be able to relax and just enjoy and appreciate Josh more . -
I really really hate KC

How often top UFA WRs get open vs single man coverage
DJB replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Were those 72 times Gabe was “open” when the DB fell down or nobody bothered to cover him at all? 🧐 -
Found it on a dynasty website I follow. No link to a tweet unfortunately

Drop rates for some top WRs in the 2024 #NFLDraft: • Johnny Wilson: 16.1% • Javon Baker: 10.6% • Devontez Walker: 8.5% • Troy Franklin: 7.3% • Keon Coleman: 7.2% • Marvin Harrison Jr: 6.9% • Ladd McConkey: 6.3% • Xavier Worthy: 5.4% MEDIAN DROP RATE • Malik Nabers: 4.9% • Xavier Legette: 4.8% • Rome Odunze: 4.8% • Ja’Lynn Polk: 4.8% • Brian Thomas Jr: 3.8% • Adonai Mitchell: 1.7% I’m going to keep saying it. A Mitchell at 28 Bills

Lots of red flags in this draft . Keon Coleman once again on a bad list . Xavier Worthy as well
-
An interesting format to evaluate the Bills foundation
DJB replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
He needs to take a big step next year . An Oliver sized step forward -
-
I’d bet my life savings we aren’t taking Coleman or at least I darn well hope we aren’t . He doesn’t seem to fit what we should be looking for or what we need

Bills fans dropped to No. 20 in latest fan rankings
DJB replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall
This is ridiculous. We sacrificed fans into the pit -
I can’t shake the feeling that Adonai Mitchell is a Bill…
-
I’m always a proponent of moving up to get your guy and I do agree both these guys could very well be gone by around 20
-
Im in the same boat mindset that it’s most likely to be one of Franklin or Thomas for us.
-
We just dealt with this with Gabe. A large box out type WR that struggles to separate We don’t need that and i want nothing to do with Coleman as a result We need an elite separation type guy and someone to threaten with deep speed. It will open up the middle of the field so much for Josh. Last year our O was compressed, the D could shrink the field and safeties never really had to worry about being beat deep. Imo
