Agreed. And I’m always a fan of drafting the best players from the best conferences. Makes sense right? It shouldn’t be that complicated but GM’s like to be the smartest guy in the room sometimes .

Looking at the draft board , the play is to take one of those 3 DT’s round 1 then move up in round 2 to get the corner Move up twice if need be. We have a ton of mid round capital to do it

Amos visit is today. Anyone bored enough to go through the Beane era and comb through to see if there is any correlation between when a prospect visits (how close to the draft or further anway from the draft ) and if we draft them?

My guess? Amos round 1 What I want? Morrison early round 2

I have a concern with Amos and that is a lack of production. 4 INT’s over a 5 year collegiate career is not great for a guy who is supposed to be a round 1 guy. That scares me On the flip side , you have Morrison who has missed a bunch of time due to injuries has, but had 9 INT’s in 3 seasons .

Not surprised Sanders isn’t attending . He could slide and all eyes are going to be on him anyways . It’s a good advice

I understand it’s a deep DT draft with guys like T Williams, Farmer, A Collins etc all available in round 2. But I want a difference maker at that position. Someone teams need to plan for . That’s why I want Nolen, Harmon or even Grant round 1. Move up to get one of those quality corners in round 2 if need be. Unless one of Barron , or W Johnson slip in round 1, why take an inferior corner prospect in Revel, Amos when you could take one of those 3 DT’s and still grab Morrison or maybe Hairston etc round 2 Make it make sense for me
