  1. LOL, I was going to say, the fact that someone had to ask that question is not good LOL.
  2. For most teams, this game is for guys that are trying to make it. I'm not sure that's the case for us.
  3. Are these guys good at blocking on screens though that's the question. I wouldn't trust Ducasse on ANYTHING
  4. After watching the game again, I'm not looking forward to this interior having to face Michael Pierce and Big Bad Brandon Williams. If I'm the Ravens, I'd play Tim Williams on rush downs vs Mills. I don't think Mills will be able to contend with the speed and athleticism of Williams, who has been looking really good and ready to make that jump for the Ravens.
  5. I think the reality is that this year fans are really going to be tested by the Process. This will be a slow process for everything to come together and I think it will eventually, but not early on.
  6. Talent is an issue for sure. But to me, it's more than that. Remember that time we beat Baltimore 23-20. We picked off Flacco five times and was constantly in his face? Do you guys remember that? Well that OL had Pro Bowl players on it. The Ravens couldn't run or pass that day. The struggled that entire season. That line consisted of Mount McKinney, Kelechi Osemele, Gino Gradkowski, Marshall Yanda, Michael Oher. McKinney was replaced early in the season by Eugene Monroe through a trade. Flacco was sacked 48 times that season, second only to Tannehill who was sacked the most. Guess who was the coach of that OL? The Ravens bring Juan Castillo in fresh off of their SB victory and Castillo made these guys look bad. Their OL penalty rate was the highest it ever was, guys missed blocks like crazy. The Ravens rushing attack went into the cellar. Kubiak and Dennison came in and corrected the ship in one season. When they left the OL went straight back to hell. So yeah, it's talent on the one hand, but Juan's lack of success in Baltimore gives me a lot of concern and with the way our OL was last year even with Cogs and Wood, it still had some major issues and to me those issues have everything to do with the OL coach.
  7. Doesn't matter what OL they shuffle and new talent brought in. Juan Castillo had a Ravens line of Eugene Monroe; Osemele; Gradkowski; Yanda; and I forget who the RT was at the time. He managed to make all of them look like FOOLS. Complete fools.
  8. This team aint going that far with an OL looking like that. Secondly, I said it early on we are going to be completely overmatched in the trenches in week 1. The only way Baltimore loses is if Hyde, Poyer, White and a few other guys pick off Flacco several times. I don't see us
  9. Ravens fans are looking at this laughing. Saying Juan is up to his old tricks.
  10. The biggest issue is good OL help is difficult to find. Most people are not letting good OL walk unless they already have someone else in the pipeline ready to play.
  11. Juan Castillo needs to be fired. He probably said he doesn't need any players at the position and he can make these turds shine.
  12. Sign Kayvon Webster. Need some insurance for Davis.
  13. should have challenged it ohh well. Get ready to go down 21 -0
  14. YES. Everyone has basic overloads.
  15. I don't see it. I'll have to see how Frasier tries to hide Edmunds deficiencies and what fronts/alignments he will employ to shore up the run defense because I can guarantee that they will try to take our young linebackers to the woodshed with a lot of misdirection and play action. I want us to win and I want Allen to look great, I just think the road trip and that defense is not a good recipe for us. It is? Maybe when Brandon Williams is not playing it is. But they plug the run up real good when he is.
  16. The fans never liked Pees because of his bend/don't break style of defense. They are used to and want the attack style defense from the past and think that Wink Martindale will bring some of that back. I think the thing about Smith being out is kinda huge, but not. Don't overlook Marlon Humphrey, who actually had a really good rookie year last year.
  17. Everyone is until the defense is playing press coverage. Also, I'm not sure "excels" is the word I would use. If he excelled at anything it seems to me there wouldn't even be a competition at QB. Just design a short passing attack and let this guy lead it since he "excels".
  18. No. Indecisiveness on who to block has nothing to do with the QB and everything to do with guys just not understanding how to apply what they were taught to what is happening in the game. It might be they don't understand what was trying to be taught.
  19. I never thought a real life OL would look as atrocious as the linemen do in EA Sports Madden NFL, but our line proved me wrong.
