  1. This actually worked really well on Madden unless your opponent had a good audible/hot route for it. I remember people in middle school calling me a cheater for using it lol.
  2. This is what happens to fans who are thirsty for a franchise QB. Week 1 can't get here soon enough.
  3. I see now. Thank you for the clarification.
  4. I'm cautiously optimistic about anything offense-related when it comes to the Bills, but this is the most excited I've been about the offense in a while. Most of us remember how Chan was able to consistently put up a decent offense despite having some of the worst offensive talent in the league to work with. Scheming success is possible to do, but only a few coordinators can do it. Let's hope Daboll is one of them.
  5. Can someone explain to me why playing for 4-5 years under a rookie contract, getting paid according to your contract, and then hitting free agency to sign a new contract with a different team is considered "double dipping"? If I'm reading these responses right, it sounds like "offset language" is just a way for a team to take money back that they agreed to give a player for playing JUST because they won't re-sign with the team. Is that correct?
  6. I'm pumped about this defense too. But remember, even the most talented players in the league get tired. If the offense is going three-and-out constantly, our defense is going to suffer. That's really the only thing tempering my expectations for the defense at this point.
  7. I really like Daboll so far. You can hear his Belichick background in his verbiage. He seems very thorough and no nonsense. He just seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I never really got that feeling from Dennison.
  8. Can they still do that? This is the first time I've ever seen a ref ask the crowd to quiet down. I thought crowd noise was an accepted part of home field advantage?
  9. Is that Gary Kubiak as the placeholder for the Broncos' kicker?
  10. Or maybe we'll eventually find out that he was doping on something this whole time, and the substance conveniently gets banned right after he retires. The future is still unwritten.
  11. He looks fine. The only thing worthy of note is his apparent hypocrisy in regards to taking his lifestyle and selling it to others as the greatest thing ever. Clearly there are better methods than the TB12 in regards to getting fit.
  12. A little surprised to see so many old farts. Makes me a little worried that the NFL is slowly dying.
  13. Quite a few typos, but a great read nonetheless. I can't remember when I was this excited about our draft turning into something special.
  14. Critical part of the evaluation process: "When they’re going through stretch lines, is he patting them on the butt and getting them going?" ?
  15. This is exactly how I feel. It's just a hunch, but I don't see Zay being stopped from getting better. The kid has too much talent and it sounds like his work ethic isn't bad either.
  16. JP/Rodgers debacle is still haunting this franchise.
  17. I'm not sure if anyone here can provide the answers you seek.
  18. We don't know. But some of us will still make jokes about loaning bridges to Georgia regardless.
  19. Looking at the rows on the left, starting with Buffalo Bills, the chart shows the total wins against each team in each column. For example in the AFCE, the Bills were: 19-13 against the Dolphins 4-28 against the Patriots 14-18 against the Jets
  20. I often wonder about using a time machine and swapping QBs of different eras to see how they would compete. Just a hunch, but I have a feeling Brady would wither away and die an early football death if he played in a less QB-friendly era. I think some of the old time greats would put up similar yards, TD:INT ratios, and passer ratings to the QBs of today. Bills example: Tyrod is the highest rated (passer rating) QB in Bills history, isn't he? There's no way in hell you can convince me that he's a better QB than Kelly.
  21. As with most things in life, it isn't very black and white. I have a feeling both were factors.
  22. Sorry if this has been asked already, but can anyone tell me if the Bills player #55 (Jerry Hughes? not sure how old that pic is) is being held by the 49ers OL? If not, why doesn't that count as holding?
  23. I think it plays into his ego. He knows he's "the guy" on this offense. In regards to the OP, I just hope the Bills can be a middle-third passing offense by the time he retires or parts ways with the team. He will be able to make more plays in a more balanced offense, imo.
  24. "Let's make Brady our B word."
