  1. Different world of everything really. Most are completely disconnected from the reality that the rest of us face daily.
  2. Interesting. I wonder if the player agents get something out of it upfront if they manage to negotiate a slightly higher contract, even if it's not guaranteed.
  3. I haven't argued anything of the sort. It was just the first thing that popped into my head after reading that list...
  4. Peterman ahead of Anderson and Barkley? Idk about that ranking...
  5. His Wiki page needs a post-wrecks update. The last thing about him says he switched to 3-4 OLB.
  6. Who was the last above average RT the Bills had? Brad Butler?
  7. Wait. The last doctor I had would frequently get takeout lunches delivered by this guy in a suit and overcoat. I couldn't help but think "why is this well-dressed guy delivering lunch from Olive Garden? Must be a friend of the doc's or something." That SOB was probably a pharma rep!
  8. It's a shame that people with terminal illnesses can be strapped with such a financial burden in the richest country in the world.
  9. That's such a good scene.
  10. RIP Pancho. Viva Los Bills!
  11. Agree with other posters who say balance is key. The run-pass balance in the NFL is part of what makes it so much harder than other levels of football. Even the most pass-happy teams understand the value of running the football at the professional level. If you are equally good at running and passing, you make your offense much more difficult to defensively scheme against.
  12. I don't really have much else to say. It's just a feeling. You know how some players are especially entertaining to watch when they play? OJ is a textbook example. I just get the opposite feeling from the couple clips posted above of Sills. That's also the first and only time I've seen him, so maybe it's just in my head. But that was my first impression.
  13. Agreed.
  14. There's something about the way Sills moves that I just don't like.
  15. Who's the guy McDermott referred to that needed to be told where the A gap, B gap, and C gap are?
  16. I can see him filling a role for both the Pats and KC.
  17. The bleu cheese question isn't getting enough attention in this thread.
  18. As we were walking by, my buddy looked at the cop funny. Basically looked him up and down, giving him a look like, "you ain't sh|t." Didn't say anything. Didn't make any aggressive movements. Just a look. That's what started the whole thing. Cop felt he had to pull him aside and teach him a lesson. Again, once it started my buddy didn't help things at all by being himself, but yeah. That was how it started.
  19. And I do get that, as I noted the situation in my first sentence. Tapping someone on the shoulder to ask a question in and of itself isn't illegal (afaik?), but like you said you have to be aware of the whole situation. You're outstretching your arm toward a LEO in the middle of a crowded stadium lot while that LEO is in the middle of detaining someone. Some people won't look at it like that though. They will be upset that a guy trying to ask a question got body checked (you should have heard the crowd when he hit the fence). Bottom line though, nothing happens if my drunk buddy doesn't start the pissing match to begin with. God he was such an idiot then (this was like 10 years ago).
  20. The law enforcement at the games are massive dbags, but when you're corralling thousands of drunk people (especially after a loss), things are bound to get hectic. If people want to see less cop beat downs, one way to do that is to curb the drunken, reckless behavior in the parking lots. I understand that won't stop butthead cops from being dbags though. Once we were walking to our cars when our buddy got into a pissing match with a sheriff deputy. His brother goes to tap the cop on his back shoulder to ask what's going on, at which point the cop's partner body checks the brother against a fence, screaming "Don't you EVER put your hands on a LEO!"
  21. The run defense isn't good enough to take the loss of Shaq and still perform at the same level. Remember, we were the #2 ranked D mainly because our passing D was #1, but our rush D was #16. I think the run D was "just good enough" for McDermott's defense to work well. The pass defense will suffer if we become too soft against the run. He fills a need, we have the cap space, and he hasn't reached his peak yet. I hope he's extended if the do end up exercising the option.
  22. Ain't no way Anderson is going anywhere considering how the QB position unraveled last season. I just don't see them rolling the dice twice on this.
