  1. Singletary was open in the flat, sigh...
  2. 3 and out! Nice job D. Gotta protect Allen’s blindside on this next drive.
  3. Flushing Allen from the “packet”? Lol
  4. Some actual, bread and butter NFL throws? Nice!
  5. I still think the Greatest Show on Turf had a better group. Although who knows how this season plays out. Maybe they do eclipse the 2000 Rams.
  6. He's skin and bones now. I just don't see him making a comeback.
  7. That's fair. I think he's overrated as a coach but that doesn't mean he deserved this headcase, even if he should have seen this coming sooner or later. I think Gruden's own ego ("I can fix anyone") got in the way there.
  8. That almost makes me feel sad for Gruden. Almost.
  9. If Beasley catches 100 balls... ... then we have more than 1 stud in the stalls?
  10. I'm digressing a bit, but if wages had kept up with productivity over the last 40 years, $99 would be affordable to many. The price is probably right. The current level of income inequality is the problem.
  11. That would make us an above-average scoring offense. Over the last 10 years the average points/game from all sources (not just offense) is somewhere between 22 and 23. Last season the average was 23.3 points per team per game. If the offense can average 24 points/game I'll be extremely impressed. According to last year's stats that'd be good for the 11th ranked scoring offense. The Bills ranked 30th in that category last year.
  12. Take care Shady! Thanks for all you did as a Bill while you were here. Good luck in KC. I don't think the Bills are SB bound this year, so I hope the Chiefs can make it to the big game for you.
  13. Was pulling for Duke Williams. I'm a big fan of his style of WR but maybe I'm a little old-fashioned at this point. It seems that route running and separation (i.e. creating uncontested catches) are more important than winning high jump-ball, contested catches.
  14. A FB is needed in Daboll's offense, at least if it's anything like the Pats* system/offense. A FB generally helps a short passing game with blocking, as a receiving outlet, and to disguise passing plays with running formations. They are particularly useful in play-action for all 3 of those reasons. At this point it would be too much of a hiccup to release DiMarco and pick up another FB or use a TE in this fashion, imo.
  15. 8-11 is a more realistic range (currently accounting for a combined 86% of the vote), but I voted 8-9.
  16. One year in Madden franchise mode I drafted a 6'5'' 280 lb MLB at the bottom of the third round. The 21 year old had 87 speed, 97 acceleration, 77 strength, but only 56 agility and very low awareness. Because of his size and lack of agility, I thought he might be a better fit as a DE in a 4-3, or maybe as a pass rushing OLB in a 3-4. In the end I stuck with his original position, dropped his weight to 265, and added 21 agility (for a total of 77) before the start of his 3rd season. I had never really had a MLB this big OR this rangy. But my god the things this guy did for my defense. He was almost impossible to create a good offensive matchup against, especially in coverage. I think he averaged over 3 INTs and 10 PBUs per year outside of being a tackling monster for almost 15 seasons. Probably a top 5 CPU-generated player ever created during one of my franchise drafts. Tremaine immediately reminds me of this guy.
  17. That "game changer" could eventually be Oliver, or Edmunds, or if we are really lucky, Allen. Although I agree that as of right now, we don't really have an elite talent at a game changing position. White may be elite, but CB isn't really a game changing position unless you are Deion Sanders.
  18. Gotta start somewhere. I still believe things are looking up for the Bills. 10-6 is a real possibility this season if Allen keeps progressing.
  19. The little people tend to do that. I have a buddy who's 5'6'' with arms almost as big as my thighs. The dumbass always skips leg day though so he's not very proportionally built. Hence his nickname "Chicken Legs".
  20. It's ironic because there was a time where the kicking game was the only strength this team had.
