    It's an article written in the context of fantasy football leagues. Of course Josh didn't perform stellar on the stat sheet. But he most certainly helped us get a W, and in the real world the W is the only thing that matters, not the stats. This thread shouldn't be 5 pages long lol.

    Hmmm idk. The Dockery/Walker/etc. FA signings of the 2007 season were probably the worst in recent memory. And don't forget they had more dead money than anyone else last year and still managed to eek out 6 wins. That speaks volumes about the non-player components of the organization, imo.

    Don't think so. The cutoff refers to plays after the cutoff, not before it. It would be weird to have the game clock ticking down to 5:00 and then stop without also stopping the play clock (like they do for the 2 minute warning).

    Oh for sure. You can tell that Darnold is an NFL QB. I'm looking forward to a great rivalry between these two. I think Darnold is at his best with a clean pocket and doesn't improvise as well as Allen. If the Jets give him a good offensive line, he's gonna put up some numbers in his career.

    This is 100% correct afaik. And it's been that way for at least 15 years. I know because they even programmed it into Madden 2005 (best Madden ever). The game clock still runs when a player is pushed out of bounds for the majority of the game. I think in Madden the cutoff didn't start until the 4min mark, but 5 minutes is probably correct IRL.

    Does anyone know roughly how good the Giants offensive line is? The best way to cancel out their numerous weapons is to dominate in the trenches, imo. Does our DL have a significant edge?

    I was just about to type the same thing. It felt like those were at-the-line audibles, not scripted formation changes. Plus, the personnel they had out were running personnel (FB, RB, TE).

    This puzzled me as well. I've seen other games where that overhead angle is used via a camera suspended on wires. I guess the Jest stadium doesn't have one?

    The talking heads on CBS went through a detailed, lengthy analysis of several games, then do a quick bit on the Bills-Jets game right before their break. Typical.
