If the president is the target, I don't think that's the pertinent question. The question is: is there enough evidence to try him in the Republican-controlled Senate, as it will be the Senate's interpretation of High Crimes that matters. The only way impeachment on Trump goes all the way forward is if there is quid pro quo, imo.

Yes! "Insufferable douche" can be used to describe both Brady and your generic Bostonian ? -
Josh Allen - Draft night retrospect
Capco replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Before the draft, I was hoping that Allen would go first to Browns in the All-Time Brownsie move, Mayfield third, and that we'd get Darnold at 7. At this point I'm much happier with Allen than I think I would be with Darnold. Allen just fits this team and city like a damn glove. -

Look at the way he chews that though. Like a damn rabbit. I'm telling you he's not of this world... -
(5) (A) An employee of an element of the intelligence community, an employee assigned or detailed to an element of the intelligence community, or an employee of a contractor to the intelligence community who intends to report to Congress a complaint or information with respect to an urgent concern may report such complaint or information to the Inspector General. (B) Not later than the end of the 14-calendar-day period beginning on the date of receipt from an employee of a complaint or information under subparagraph (A), the Inspector General shall determine whether the complaint or information appears credible. Upon making such a determination, the Inspector General shall transmit to the Director a notice of that determination, together with the complaint or information. (C) Upon receipt of a transmittal from the Inspector General under subparagraph (B), the Director shall, within 7 calendar days of such receipt, forward such transmittal to the congressional intelligence committees, together with any comments the Director considers appropriate. (D) (i) If the Inspector General does not find credible under subparagraph (B) a complaint or information submitted under subparagraph (A), or does not transmit the complaint or information to the Director in accurate form under subparagraph (B), the employee (subject to clause (ii)) may submit the complaint or information to Congress by contacting either or both of the congressional intelligence committees directly. (ii)An employee may contact the congressional intelligence committees directly as described in clause (i) only if the employee— (I) before making such a contact, furnishes to the Director, through the Inspector General, a statement of the employee’s complaint or information and notice of the employee’s intent to contact the congressional intelligence committees directly; and (II) obtains and follows from the Director, through the Inspector General, direction on how to contact the congressional intelligence committees in accordance with appropriate security practices. (iii) A member or employee of one of the congressional intelligence committees who receives a complaint or information under this subparagraph does so in that member or employee’s official capacity as a member or employee of such committee. (E) The Inspector General shall notify an employee who reports a complaint or information to the Inspector General under this paragraph of each action taken under this paragraph with respect to the complaint or information. Such notice shall be provided not later than 3 days after any such action is taken. (F) An action taken by the Director or the Inspector General under this paragraph shall not be subject to judicial review. (G)In this paragraph, the term “urgent concern” means any of the following: (i) A serious or flagrant problem, abuse, violation of law or Executive order, or deficiency relating to the funding, administration, or operation of an intelligence activity within the responsibility and authority of the Director of National Intelligence involving classified information, but does not include differences of opinions concerning public policy matters. (ii) A false statement to Congress, or a willful withholding from Congress, on an issue of material fact relating to the funding, administration, or operation of an intelligence activity. (iii) An action, including a personnel action described in section 2302(a)(2)(A) of title 5, constituting reprisal or threat of reprisal prohibited under subsection (g)(3)(B) of this section in response to an employee’s reporting an urgent concern in accordance with this paragraph. (H) Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit the protections afforded to an employee under section 3517(d) of this title or section 8H of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.). (I) An individual who has submitted a complaint or information to the Inspector General under this section may notify any member of either of the congressional intelligence committees, or a staff member of either of such committees, of the fact that such individual has made a submission to the Inspector General, and of the date on which such submission was made. (6) In accordance with section 535 of title 28, the Inspector General shall expeditiously report to the Attorney General any information, allegation, or complaint received by the Inspector General relating to violations of Federal criminal law that involves [1] a program or operation of an element of the intelligence community, or in the relationships between the elements of the intelligence community, consistent with such guidelines as may be issued by the Attorney General pursuant to subsection (b)(2) of such section. A copy of each such report shall be furnished to the Director.

ESPN: Bills have the best defense in football
Capco replied to VW82's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good catch. I think I remember the pre-snap movements too. That's probably a consequence of going into year 3 of this defense with 10 starters from last year. Continuity allows that kind of thing to happen more frequently. -
NFL's newest franchise QB: Daniel Jones

If we end up 4-0, the narrative on Allen might change overnight. -
I think this is a bit of a leap. There are undoubtedly still unexplained natural phenomena that are terrestrial in nature. What was seen was not definitively an advanced craft operated by someone/something unknown. That was neither declared, nor can it be made certain from the information provided. It could very well be something natural and terrestrial in character that we just don't know about yet. As far as we know, we didn't get up close to it or examine it, whatever it was. There's still more questions than answers.

From my understanding of the EP offense, it's somewhat geared to making things easier for the quarterback at the line by putting more of the complexity and weight on the rest of the team. I'm sure it's still complex for the QB on an absolute scale, but I think the above is part of the overall philosophy.

I'm somewhat familiar with the history and stuff like Blue Book, but I'm still not seeing the "a ha!" moment. I'm not saying it's all impossible, but again what the Navy just admitted does not verify anything in the past other than the events they admit occurred. I can see it as one of many stones, but it's not the capstone that completes the arch if you will. And if there were aliens associated with the UFOs, why would they release the UFO footage? That would definitely be something they want to keep secret. The unit the Navy used to investigate these sightings was disbanded because the problems/reports weren't significant enough to look into. If they released something that's probably because it's not that big of a deal in their eyes (and if there were little green men then again there's no logical reason to release the footage). And the earliest video was from what, 2005? If this was sensitive information of paramount importance, I think they would have kept it secret for much longer. I mean the Allies kept Ultra secret for what, 30 years? That information literally rewrote the historiography of WWII because of its significance, and what you're implying is even more significant but only 14 years old at the oldest.

Unless I missed these extra admissions, all I remember from the article I read was that the USN acknowledged seeing a UFO and released video/audio recordings of the pilots. That doesn't instantly verify the past 70 years of these theories. Stuff like Roswell being an alien cover up hasn't transcended into fact because of this. Or is there something new/recent I didn't catch?

I get where you are seeing the potential for a connection, but at the end of the day most of the people who buy the deep state thing are right-leaning people who think the left are the bad guys trying to overthrow a legally elected president, right? And they are also the same people who say government can't do anything because it is incompetent and inefficient, and advocate for smaller government and deregulation. And then in the same breath they say that this government has been successfully covering up and misinforming the whole world for decades? ? It's just inconsistent logic on a very basic level if you take a step back from being mired in all the details.

Pretty much. It's been very entertaining though. I'm also surprised no one brought up any mid to high level business meetings during the dick measuring contest. Unfortunately any time I see DR's name from now on I will immediately think of the aliens guy (no offense, I just think that was taking it too far. I still enjoy reading his takes though).

Thanks Icebowl. I'm not really expecting a W against the Pats, but I'm not expecting we roll over either. We definitely have a fighter's chance as they say, but if we want to dominate them (lol) then we need to clean up a lot of our play. Here's hoping for a good week of practice and preparation.

I wonder what the spread will be.
