  1. It was a tough game... But football is a game for tough people. The first half wasn't pretty at all offensively. They got absolutely no push in the run game and Jordan Mills was a turnstile in the pass game. Allowing Peppers in the backfield all day.

Rough play calling was also the norm in the first half. What happened to opening TT up??? I hope this is an anomaly because it was JV esque. The other team knows you're running it on first down... So run a quick PA or a backside screen. Dennison HAS to be better. The first few drives were very rough

Football is a team game. I've always believed and preached that. It never comes down to one play. Football is a 60 minute game and you play it through the final whistle every play. Some times the first half stinks.. you regroup and have a fantastic second half hopefully. I'm also not a believer of singling out a guy just because he played bad. I've been on that side before, and you need your teammates to have your back. That's the family part of football. It's a long season

Big props to the defense. Backs against the wall all day, and they never broke. The kept fighting, clawing and scraping by play after play. Shaq Lawson had his best day as a pro. Good for you young fella! Keep building on that

Fantastic Defensive performance from the front 4 and the Defense as a whole. After adjustments in the second half they were flying Around and I appreciate that they played all 4 quarters even with no offensive scoring and having bad field position all day

TT and the line have to play a lot better next week if we are gonna have a chance.

    Go Bills

    Billieve

Man I was hoping this is the week we unleash T Taylor ,
  2. Does anyone change their goal? I know the knee jerk but if the Patriots have an average year and MIA forced to play 16 straight mixed with the Jets sucking is anyone kinda feeling the Bills this year or is the trading away of Sammy and Darby just really kill it for you? I'll hang up and listen.

Darby trade wouldn't even be an issue for me , but the Watkins trade ( IMO ) definitely hurts our chances to compete against the Patriots, just watching the last nights game speed kills

  3. It's building a team, not just putting a bunch of talented players on the roster. Some pieces just don't fit. There is no way they would have signed SW for the money he's going to demand and people would have been more pissed that they let him walk for nothing. Get something for him and avoid a messy situation in the off season. If a player doesn't fit the scheme, try to get something for him and ship him out. Letting JW go was more of a ST decision than anything, TJ is good special team'er.

I can't really argue too much about any of their moves to this point.

We can't really argue with any of their moves to this point , is because we haven't seen anything ( YET )

Let's see what happens on Monday morning

  4. Tougher schedule, offense that doesn't fit the players we have, weak receivers with no one to draw safeties away from playing near the line of scrimmage, and a ton of roster turnover as well as new coaches and scheme on defense with a suspect secondary/linebacking corps.

I have this team between 5-7 wins.

Wow your pretty optimistic with up to 7 wins ,

I don't think we win more then 4-5 wins , IMO we're in the top 5 worse teams in the NFL this year ...

  5. No, it's all doom and gloom around here, remember?

Seriously though, instead of having an offense that puts up a lot of points and a defense that just can't hold on for the win (e.g. L37-31 to the Jets; L28-25 to Miami; Loss 31-25 to Seattle, and the list goes on), this year we should see a defense that dominates and an offense that does enough to win. I'm pretty sure we'll see several wins of the 17-3 and 14-10 variety, as well as the occasional game early in the season where we put up 24+ on bad teams (i.e. Jets in week 1). As this season progresses I see the offense getting more comfortable and consistently scoring 2 to 3 TDs and 2 to 3 FGs each week, while it will be rare to see the defense give up more than 21.

I'm not as sold on the defense as you are quite yet , remember there was really no game planning, once we face and we will some great QB's I'm not so sure will be able to hold them to 10 - 14 points as your suggesting, but I do believe that will be good against the run ,
  6. As a Canes fan, I saw him play a lot. He is a smart kid, a good kid, and has potential. He runs into problems when he is getting the crap kicked out of him. He may not have the strongest arm in the world, but I would try to develop him.

As an FSU fan I saw him few times and like the kid
  7. OVERRATED: ERIC WOOD

    UNDERRATED: TYROD TAYLOR

    YEA I SAID IT

How much did he make last year 17 million ?

    Agree with both you bros

Tyrod isnt nearly as bad as some of you dummies campaign.

Underated: Tyrod, Groy, John Miller, McDerm and Fraisers def scheme, Poyer, B Tate as a WR, and J Will (injury made him lose a year of football before we drafted him, hes now jus getting back up to playing speed and getting that burst back)

Overated: Peterman (fans want a QB so bad they overrate anyone not named Tyrod, its sad, i like NP but he cant hold Trubisky, Mahomes, or Watsons jockstrap even Kizer has made a lot more ye popping plays than NP and vs the 1s on the browns to put that in prospective), Cognitos pass block hes really solid at run block, Andre Holmes, Castillos OL coaching, and Streater (not saying hes bad but not much of a drop from him to Tate and Reilly.

    Lol
  8. But how can this ever be known? It's impossible to know. I'm not saying every rookie QB should be thrown to the wolves, some may take longer to develop. You evaluate this on a player-to-player basis. But to give a blanket statement that a QB must sit to develop, or would've became a great QB if he hadn't started so early, is categorically false. After well over 60 years of football, there's still no evidence to suggest this and even still, the league is constantly changing over the years.

I think a team with a good OL , strong running game , reliable WR's like the Cowboys for example , is a pretty situation for any rookie QB to be in , Who knows how Dak Prescott would look if he was start for the Jets this year as a rookie
