  1. lol Athletic mocks again have a horrible history of putting players in positions for clicks.. that being said.. again.. good job.
  2. Richardson is way to low for a top listing but I could see him go that high. Johnston way to low as well. buuuut... All in All Well Done.
  3. I don't know if I would call #1 an unpopular opinion with hindsight.
  4. This is a whole lot of silliness here. Do the Fans overreact more to the bad then the good? Absolutely. BUT! The Criticism of Davis has been more then fair.. There is a reason why they tried bringing 2 old bears back at the end of the season. He was not producing.
  5. You know... It could happen but it would have to be some sort of Miricale with our cap situation... 3 1/2 months later.... Oh Damn this could happen! I want your crystal ball man.
  6. 1. Mc.D likes to sit some of the positions for a year, Like WR and DE. These are players that can develop on the bench without hurting a "SB" ready team. 2. One thing Mc.D does not take kindly to is drops and fumbles. Shakir had 2 drops early in the season and Cook had the dropsies too. He does not tolerate it and I respect Mc.D for that. 3. I seriously think this GM/HC combo has a different philosophy outside their first draft. They try hard to plug holes so they are more wide open to the talent as much as position needed so yea.. 4. I don't think I would categorize our last 2-3 drafts as great... yet.. Does McD need to have more trust and faith in his rookies? Absolutely.. But that being said, if he feels the same rookies will hurt this team more than help.. Then they sit the bench. I would argue Davis should have seen the bench more while he was struggling and while Shakir was excelling he should of had more playing time. As far as the CB situation? that was tough.. No White do to injuries early on so he had to 1. decipher which CB was the better of the 2 and then decide if they wanted a vet. In short? I trust the process but the process needs to speed the heck up a bit.
  7. you say you want peoples opinions, obviously its just yours you want. I am not going to engage in this convo with you anymore.
  8. Won't have that conversation because the chances are slim of them falling I would rather have a realistic conversation then discuss this... IF they did? ID trade with someone that needed a CB and pick up extra picks this is not madden football. it is not as easy like that. Who are you going to trade? White? not with that contract. Elam? Not on that rookie contract. Again, I would trade the pick if lightning struck like that and get draft pick(s)
  9. I just want to say... I LOVE this topic.. It's like we are getting it all out of our system in a positive way. GG mate.
  10. I will add another one.. YOU CANT TEACH ACCURACY! Uh Rah!
  11. the values themselves are messed up... not just in general for each position but for the positions on teams themself. Doubling down + some on QB, when WR is a need in this league is crazy. and .03 for HB? mine as well say you do not need a HB at all.... thats my biggest issue with all of this.
  12. says it in the title. he is trying to build an entire draft board based on our vote. the problem with that is, many do not know one name from the next. and yes... lol... I agree... CB is the least of our concerns.
  13. no.. read back a couple posts. I did not see the math equations in small print. now go back and read my last reply to orange.
  14. GOT YA! TY for explaining it. Way to much wait for QB compared to the other positional values. IS it a QB driven league? oh yea lol! BUT! to say the QB position is over 100% more important than the WR position? Last year with buffalo is proof how wrong that value is. TY SIR for explaining it. I guess bottom line, his values are bad. especially where he puts them with some teams. RB .. dime a dozen... but .03? christ.. lets drop cook and sign a crap HB if thats the true value of a HB on a team? .03? come on man. FYI i did not see these numerical numbers on top of the SS till I blew it up. Thanks again mate.
  15. My personal opinion that i NEVER agreed with? Funny I just touched on this in another thread. "Because of JA elbow injury, It is easier for him to chuck it 60 yards down field, then a 7 yard pass"' I mean Bloody Hell.. Just the torque alone to throw a ball time after time deep on an injured elbow?
  16. HA HA! glad we cleared that up! lol. someone with a head on their shoulders... I LIKE IT! lol! Cheers
  17. Ok... after us "talking" I get it. you want to build a draft board... but their are tons of draft boards out there and many people on these forums do not know who half these names are, thus not giving a really good vote. I guess that was my point. And to the point of @GunnerBill , I am not sure any of us would be happy period with any CB in the first 3.
  18. I agree. but wait.. someone will chime in and take 1 dr's words that JA could chuck the ball 60 yards down the field easier than a 3 yard pass...
  19. thanks for getting this back on topic. Great post bro. 1000% agree with you
  20. Do we need a CB? I am confused... why is this such a big topic for this team in early rounds?
  21. Math. This is supposed to be done with a mathematical equation and until now you can't explain it. you have one offense with 3 of the 5 positions in the green and a little red and another team with 2 green and 3 red. It does not add up. period. There is no where in this formula that says a QB weighs more than another position group... If that were true then somewhere it would say that in the formula the QB position or say the WR position outweighs other positional groups. but it does not say that.
  22. No. I am asking how the math works where Cinci and all their positional values ends in a total offensive grade of 1.8 and then the same with Dallas. Fact is they don't match.
