  1. Just read below I am going to say this... If they WANTED Edmunds? They would have moved every dime they could to keep them. I personally do not think the value was there for what he got paid for. I will say the exact same thing for Davis NEXT year. IF you guys want to quote what Beane said PROPERLY... This is what he said quote un quote with link. " "I want to pay them all ... the ones that deserve it and have earned it," Beane said in a press conference. "and there's other guys here that I feel have earned it as well and ... there's guys that have left here since I've been here that I wanted to pay or our organization wanted to pay. But you can't pay them all. "And that's hard, because I'm a people person. I love these guys and love them to death, but I also have a job to do and I have rules to follow from a cap standpoint and cash. And so unfortunately you have to say goodbye to someone. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/bills-brandon-beane-we-cant-pay-everyone Now that being said... Beane is never going to come out in a pressor and say "Edmunds would not of been worth what we wanted to pay". NEVER would any GM go out and say that... and @BADOLBILZ, You need to understand what Beane says is not always face value... There is more behind the scene's then you I or anyone else will ever know. People need to stop quoting every word a GM says because that becomes Diabolical lol. I do believe that if they got the right contract numbers for him,, they would have moved heaven and earth to do it... in short... you are both right and you are both wrong. Pay attention to the steak and not the peas ***This is where I separate the 2 of you and you go your own way"*** ha ha. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @NewEra Keep up the good vibes bro peace Pow.. Bing. Bang. Boom. Now it is lol
  2. So PFF is wrong that he is ranked a top 3 QB in this league? You think all this offensive line just has Dawkins and Brown as good? Implode like Allen? You are either completely clueless or your one of the biggest troll's on this board. The dude was picked to win the MVP early last year pre elbow injury for christ sakes.
  3. yea, that is why I chose that team. Tried being realistic instead of feeding him to a dumpster fire team and that would be a bad example.
  4. No, I do not think he is worth that, put him on a team lets say... The Chargers. A team that just maybe makes a top 10 team. (trying not to be bias) Gabe does NOT get close to these yards.. so no.. we should not resign him unless it is a team friendly deal. First big new contract.. he going to want the money
  5. Monday night opener is not my first choice for sure but come on guys.. There is a lot more worthy things to complain about... Like.. Not getting D'Hop.. Sorry I had to and no... I do not want D'Hop now lol lighten up folks...
  6. these numbers lol... that will be a hard contract to swallow.
  7. again i ask, you said he was ranked 36th.. where did you see that?
  8. Spotrac is not the end of all means. Spotrac has Davis at WR Rank: 29. That means he can be another teams #1 in the nfl. I am sorry but that ranking is way to high so I did some research on pff and top 100 WR's? Gabes off is not even on the top 50. 36th in targets, 52nd in receptions, 30th in yards (thanks JA) 12th in TDl. again (thanks JA) his last 5 games he averaged 60.56 yet Spotrac has him graded on the low end of the WR list at 29... makes ZERO sense. Spotrac has gabe at around 12 mil but lets play at your 10 mil 5 year deal at 50 mil? that would put him around 19th best paid WR in the league... Just stupid. I personally put Davis at around 8-9m a year. Especially if he repeats last year.
  9. just let the boys get their rest the day before. we will be fine.
  10. this whole thread is just nuts. shocked your even playing into it lol. the only thing that looks ridiculous is your thread.
  11. 59.3 was his actual coverage rating. ranked 68. the point was, and maybe I should have worded it better.. point being... Our rookies had a rough year having to START #2 out of the gate with a strong rotation, not allowing anyone to really get into the flow of the game.. They were rookies. They tried getting better then Levi for 2 straight seasons. Nothing panned out. depth guy sure. But if they stick him at #2 and hurt our playing time our rookies desperately needs then its an easy no.
  12. and where exactly does it say that was 36th in the nfl?
  13. should have been killed 10 pages ago.... sigh...
  14. for starters he won't be cut. If porter pans out then Levi still stays as a dime back. Levi passer rating allowed when thrown to him last year was an abysmal 74.6. While Pff coverage overall has him at 59.3. the dude has lost his touch. I do not want him period. let our rookies LEARN!
  15. and off to the next page of another meaningless topic.
  16. lol
  17. good question that needs to be answered just not by me!
  18. He can say this to you
  19. LOL. The Wakeup call has arrived awesome.
  20. hopefully he has this laying around
  21. this ****** place......
  22. If push came to shove... I still believe Bates would move to guard and McGovern would take over Center if Morse was injured. oh DAYM HA HA HA awe man all that work. I give up lol
  23. Yea I mean, things can change quickly. Too many people on these boards have McGovern locked at Guard where I actually think at this point McGovern is a slightly better center... Note.. the most likely player to get wacked on the head on the line is Center. Maybe just MAYBE, Morse would be better suited at guard this year? keep in mind... I think Morse still has center locked.. but early on players are checked out at many positions to see what they are best at! You just never know... Here is what i love... they are NOT messing around with the interior OL this year... Someone gets loose at the Tackle position, JA can roll out... Someone gets loose at Tackle and Guard? no where to go... Cyrus Torrence is the question mark. IF he starts at Guard day one and he is as good as advertised? competition could very well slowly heat up at center. Just a fun conversation to have yes? BTW.. I feel like I could do a 2 hour pod with you easy lol. Nice conversations we have
  24. Sure I will keep it simple Bates OVERALL 61.8 RB 59.0 PB 61.5 McGovern OVERALL 69.6 RB 69.7 PB 69.5 please keep in mind.. again.. last 3-4 years McGovern has lived at the center position. soooooooooo Just for giggles and.. this is going to shock you... "Brace Yourself" Morse 2022 OVERALL 61.4 RB 57.3 PB 67.1 Morse 2021 OVERALL 63.4 RB 60 PB 69.9 Morse 2020 OVERALL 65.8 RB 63.8 PB 71.6 Notice Morse Yearly decline?
