  1. Good for him... don't let the door hit him in the **** on the way out. 13 seconds. As Chef Ramsey would say The Fish is Raw... Our new defense is going to crush Miami. BILLIEVE!
  2. If this happens? IF? This team would be able to outscore anyone in many different ways... SB bound if this happens. Playbook changed this year.. 1000%... With Knox, Kincaid, Davis and Diggs on the field? Everything has changed because now... Instead of throwing more outside? you can now gear your playbook to more down the middle stuff, more screens... Knox, Kincaid and Davis on one side of the field can make for one hell of a screen play game. And if that is not enough for ya? Well I guess you have to get over it then...
  3. I think you have to look at this more cup half full. Our old DC and Current HC worked out a scheme that both agreed to. This is going to be a new defensive scheme especially with no Edmunds. Have some faith. Last year our defense was beat up. On the offensive side of the ball and O line needed to be fixed and a good weapon added. I think we got both done.
  4. I will take this one on. I spend time on different teams popular podcasts "know thy enemy". I show my respect on these pods and over the years they have given me mods on these pods.. So just from them talking, I have a stronger idea on how their teams a run. Just to start out, some on these boards feel this team has not been aggressive. Defense that seems to Blitz are teams that struggle on the defensive line a ton. Buffalo was per pff (https://www.pff.com/news/team-blitzing) the 4th most Blitzing team in the NFL. I think 4th most Blitzing team in the NFL... That number may shock some of you. But to be honest. Blitz is not the only thing that makes a team aggressive. It is how you go about doing it. That being said let's talk Miami. Miami was the 6th leading Blitzer last year... but it was how they did it. Many times, when Miami Blitz, they love to play bump and run. this is VERY aggressive because if that blitz is picked up, but even more was how they Blitzed. Miami loved Delayed Bitz, going around or inside Chubb or Phillips. and when they did that, they ran a tight (within 15 yard) zone forcing you to sit in the pocket a little longer to find that open man. Cinci is different. way different. Ranked 26th in the league in blitzing. They love to bump and run all day long and get physical at the line of scrimmage on most downs. They also loved being sneaky with their safety's, spying on QB's and at times... played lots of 3 safety packages that just made it difficult to pass in. In that way of play? Very aggressive. In short, I feel Buffalo was trying to be aggressive last year, but how they were going about it was all wrong. On top of all that? The massive DB Injuries destroyed what this team liked to run. We have a physical at line of scrimmage guy named Elam. We need to use and abuse that ability more often. Our problem is.. Tre White is not that aggressive type of player at the line. For this team to be aggressive, we need to scheme better. We need to do more of what the 49'ers do. Same play a mix of zone and man. It is not our play calling that lacks aggression, it is our scheme. IF it is the same scheme then we will still have that team that destroys teams that do not have a top 5 QB, and struggle with the rest.
  5. With everything the Bills went through in the 3 weeks leading up to that Cinci game, Injuries. players not getting 100% healthy and playing. the whole mental side of it as well... people need to move on from that game. we were not in it from moment one.
  6. I have 2 words for this team this year. Cautiously Optimistic.
  7. Oh Boy, I am looking forward to this becoming another 300+ page thread
  8. https://www.draftsharks.com/fantasy/injury-history/deandre-hopkins/6679 he is still considered low risk do to when most of them happened.
  9. why does everyone look at games played and think the dude coming off injury?
  10. You really Think a player gets the over all picture better than a HC and a GM Just because he is a good speaker on radio? WHO was talking about well before this aired that Josh needs to run less? Thats right our HC. Just a stupid title.
  11. they not selling many magazines these days so now they have to sell clicks.
  12. for starters, that was a different time period and Kelly was a different person. Kelly from day one had this sense of arrogance to him. There is also a difference in times. Teammates are more often than not, going to work out their issues off camera then on. Camera's catch everything now a days where back then, camera's were slightly more skarse and you could get away with interactions like that without it getting noticed. In the Video above, Manning was Mic'ed and would not of been a camera on him like that 24/7
  13. Beane's biggest blunder will be when he reads this thread. Just saying
  14. Good Clip of how well he handed a 1 tech dt
  15. Andre I will give you, that was the year before. BUT, Polian was Heavily involved in getting Kelly with Buffalo in 1986
  16. you are missing so much Polian did, Smith, Kelly, Thurman, Reed, snatched Lofton, Drafted Wolford I think.. I could go on but yea.. you are wrong on this.
  17. Someone said Davis Bulked up? He looked Thinner then Shakir.
  18. I was really hoping @Augie would have answered my original question and not everyone else, because the whole point people are trying to say is.. MCD may not be able to get us there. And do you let go of Good HC because of it? Again, I new the answer and that is why i quoted @Augie with it.
  19. We are only discussing the bolded, where you value them elsewhere and other positions is not the point. The point is... IT depends on the draft for any position but in general? Many great LBS came out of round 1. so for me saying that does not make sense. but its your opinion and i respect it.
  20. So good LB's don't come in round 1? that's why would not draft LB in round 1? Am I getting this correct?
