Wrong.. The key to any season on offense is BALANCE. Just enough run to keep them thinking. Just enough pass block for our receivers to get open. Talented enough WR to get the job done. We did not have any balance last year.. it was just JA constantly running out of trouble and winging it. Its different now with the talent we have at WR/TE and the line. This might be in total the most complete offense Since JA has been with us.. and that should excite many of us. does me.

yea um.. I disagree with you on this one.. Some WR's take time to shine in this league. Many WR are late blossoms. Last year with Miami, he had over 400 yards and that was BEHIND The best WR duo in the league. He had 30 receptions last year 400 yards. Every new WR from another team that has joined us has had a better career because of the dude named Josh Allen. The dude has come to camp and I have been live to see it in person a few times... The guy is Balling. Cant tell me this guy cant consistently get 400 yards a year under Allen. No one is asking this dude to be even in Gabe Davis shoes.. But this guy can run... he can do one thing we have not had a guy that we have not had on this roster since JA was drafted. a 50/50 catcher that catches in 65% on those type of plays. There is just a different feel about this guy. To early to jump a gun but if he balls like this in preseason... heh... look out.

at this point with how good the rest of the line has gotten? I would trade the farm for a good RT...

IF they think he is good enough, they would have moved him up with the 1's for a while just to see. That never happened and the fact that he's with 2's and 3's speaks volumes on its own. That is the significant part of the whole thing.. I would hope we all trust where the coaches are playing him is significant in itself. What has Torrence done significant? Nothing other than play with the starters... or has the coaches seen enough on him that, that is where he belongs?

hes getting pressures against the #2's and #3's and not starters. He has not done anything significant though to think this highly of him.

I think its interesting you picked one really good game from McKenzie and not put in account all the MEH games he had. Harty has been plagued by injuries his entire career. 2 years ago he had a 59 target 570 yards 15 yard average in 13 games. McKenzie best year was 65 targets 423 yards averaging around 10 yards. I would easily argue that a healthy Harty = McKenzie. Health is the biggest issue. But lets not talk about one great game. McKenzie had a Dude named Josh Allen.. Who was throwing to Harty? Winston? Taysom Hill? Perspective...

And sideline toe taps from anywhere on the field.. You do not have to be the best route runner out there but if you do other things really well then it does not matter. He gets his body frame in position very well to my point... He is not going to give you a big QBR short yardage but that does not mean he cant get you short yardage first downs.

spot on. I am only saying... Just cause he catches and QBR is low because of the short catches does not mean he cant do it. Only time will tell if he has evolved. My narrative is not that he should catch 60% short 40% long, ITs that if that 25% short catches goes up to say 35%-40% who cares if it is keeping the drive going. That is my only opinion on that. How many times did a third and 4 drive stall do to a deep throw. That Miami game where we owned the ball for 40 minutes? I thought this offense was on perfect display of how well we as a team can play the short ball game and control the clock. we just never finished drives. But yes... that was my main point. Last year no sanders, Brown or Beasley type players tightened up the field. Well said.
