  1. good question. the only person that could come close to answering this that I know? @GunnerBill
  2. Sheet2.html How SI is doing it is kind of vague. looking at spotrac I am going to do the 2024 numbers and totals for top 10 paid. Soley based on Cap hit ok? Total Cap hit the Bills pay 28,189,176 more than KC top 10. but I feel the Bills talent wise on the bottom end is better than their top 10 paid in 24. In 2025 the Bills pay WAY more top 10 paid. It is not close. What does All this tell you? WELL... This means KC has to pay out next year for top positions... like DT Chris Jones Who is considered one of the best if not THE best DT in the league. I believe ESPN has him at 2? CB L'Jarius Sneed WIDELY considered a runners up for top 10 CB DE Mike Danna a top 100 player in the league. around 70 LB Drue Tranquill 95 tackles last year 5 sacs and an int will not come cheap ---RFA next year at 27 in prime expected to get paid. What BIG names do we have that become Free Agents in 2024? Gabe Davis? Now the even bigger picture.. Ready for this? Cap space for the Bills in 2024? -41 mil. KC? + What the article does not say is how much we have already paid for our stars in the future. KC has free agents coming up in the next couple of years... big names. I did not even compare numbers and check data on Cinci yet.. But this article leaves out an awful lot of info.
  3. I feel like our team is built to absolutely destroy every team that is below the level of great. Then when we play the highest tier great teams we struggle to do much of anything. On both sides of the ball. This got proven in both OC tenure. It is the same door that opened the same way the year before. But now there is a squeak to it. Here is my problem. On Offense, you use the same scheme from the year before accept you do not have a guy opening up fast underneath. Beasley lost some steps and you did not have Smoke running deep routs scaring anyone any more. The field was not as open any more... and I blame not Dorsey on much of this but on the GM/HC for not doing nearly enough help on the offensive line to justify not having the talent on the WR's team. That is the "squeaky door" I am referring to. Now we have a new playbook. Better Line. Dalton Kincaid who we all hope he ends up as good as we think he will be. For me? The book has not been written enough to put Dorsey on that top 10 pedestal. You can thank the points per game for the dude we got named Josh Allen. There was nothing creative about what we ran last year. I feel like I am reading a short 150 page novel and I am only 25 pages in. too soon.
  4. can I Join you? I got more popcorn t bring and snacks!
  5. Another interesting list https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/06/02/top-10-tight-ends-season-league-kelce-kittle#gid=ci02c0b8d590002755&pid=10 Travis Kelce, Chiefs George Kittle, 49ers Mark Andrews, Ravens Darren Waller, Giants Dallas Goedert, Eagles T.J. Hockenson, Vikings Kyle Pitts, Falcons Dalton Schultz, Texans Pat Freiermuth, Steelers David Njoku, Browns
  6. Weo. It was still a good conversation to have man. We good. lol. This among many other things is Why this article is being trashed on everywhere. I am always a sucker for a good convo. heated or otherwise. We have 2 perspectives. 2 opinions. Does not mean either of us are right... or wrong. Respect.
  7. This is why @Airseven should be banned from these forums. Of ALL POSTS... he eyerolls this? Why the hell is he here other then to troll? Maybe the mods can answer this one... no you gave the eyes to the person just because... that is trolling.
  8. that was in the article silly. I was quoting the article. I myself never brought it up. did you actually read it or just what i wrote?
  9. they are but there are things they can not grade on, things that have situational awareness. They are getting stand alone grades nothing to do with what is happening around them or how their teammate is messing them up by not going to the right guy, not helping with 1 tech and so on. You can look at the facts that guard play can absolutely screw up Center play and you can look at how bad the guards were around him. Now. If he had guards around him that equaled Morse quality and Morse numbers still went down? Then with full absolute we can blame the center.
  10. you ASKED for pff info. did you forget? just wow... here is your reminder.. and another reminder... before all this i NEVER brought up pff.
  11. or maybe learn some football on the way instead of having to lean on pff stats? you act like pff stats tell the whole story and it does not. not even half the story. just cue in on pff and ignore the rest of the facts at hand.
  12. seriously Thank you for helping me make my point. @Mr. WEO will some how explain to us how this means nothing but Thank You!
  13. And if you think PFF numbers on one person tells everything of why he is putting up those numbers then you are clueless. You think Guard play does not effect the Center play then I do not know what to tell you. This is common Football Knowledge man.
  14. how about stop being LAZY and look it up yourself? I told you the numbers he regressed between 2020-22. You really need that number so bad? look it up man. The number is between 20-22. Use your imagination. Unless you want to talk about why it is not the guards fault I am all ears. I think others are right though. just trying to get under my skin. have a nice day! you never argued one point other than wanting one number. nice try! Guess this is not a team sport where it could not be possible where one player vastly effects another huh? he obviously thinks guard play does not have an ill effect on centers.
  15. no you are not... and again... This is another example of why we should not listen to media.. cause this will now be considered a source for another media outlet and thats how bs spreads.
  16. Do you have a point man? I mean... to answer your question, I would say the quality was the same depending on who played. Saffold was a mess and got beat often when he started. It just depended who was on the field but I am sure your point is that if the quality was the same and Morse got worse why would we blame the guards. And to the answer to that was poor quality starters depending on the week of the season. The degression of the line had much to do with when Saffold was starting and if you cant agree with me on that, then these numbers do not lie. BASE PFF for Saffold last year? 43.7 overall, 10 penalties (6th in the league) You have a guy like that starting next to your Center, it most certainly does effect the Centers ability to do his job. .Not taking the double teams properly against 1 tech .Not sliding to one side or another to support as he should. the list could go on. And for people that think Bates was good or even average on the other side? His base pff was 61.8. Obviously better then Saffold but nothing great right? And speaking of OLINE Men on the decline? Bates was 67.5 in 2020 and went down to 61.8 and if that is not enough for you? Dawkins went from a 78.1 in 2020 to a 73.5 in 22. Guys around you matter when it comes to the Lines. I do not know how else to answer your vague questions then this.
  17. Sir i do not have pff any more. i believe his base was in low to mid 60's but you know who his guards were by him and how bad they were....
  18. I hear his dr.'s are the "cutting edge"
