Caleb Williams WILL play against Buffalo on Saturday
warrior9 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Uh, Kyler Murray also objectively has incredible arm talent. You don't become the #1 overall pick at 5'7 as a QB because you don't have crazy arm talent. Not to mention he was drafted in the MLB. He throws faster than Caleb, actually. I strongly dislike Kyler Murray but you can't discount the dudes ability to throw the ball. In 2021, Kyler lead the league in deep passing accuracy In 2022, he was second in "regular accuracy" according to PFF He has dealt with horrific coaching and REALLY bad rosters. Your statement is patently false. https://www.si.com/nfl/cardinals/analysis/analytics-show-kyler-murray-was-better-than-you-think-last-season -
I answered your question bubba, that's all.

Did you watch football last year? Tucker was 86% and Butker was 94% So no, Tucker didn't die, he just didnt kick as good as Butker.

League Wide Re-draft - Your Top 10 Picks?
warrior9 replied to HereComesTheReignAgain's topic in The Stadium Wall
He also has to have the best supporting cast I can remember for a rookie QB... if he isn't at least "OK" his rookie year, he'll never be good, IMO. -
Washed and lost a step are not the same thing. He had 8 drops last year and only 330 YAC which puts him at the very bottom of WR 1's. Davante Adams was around there with absolutely NO QB. Shakir had almost 300 and played half the time diggs did

Josh Allen.......over/under 10.5 Rushing TD's???

I “Johnson has earned an 82.8 coverage grade over the last two years, eighth in the NFL,” Kosko wrote. “He is also another player who prevents separation at a high level, ranking fifth in the advanced metrics. The six-year pro has been vital to the success of the Bills' defense for several years.” This is from June of this year and he was second team all pro last year. So PFF weighs more than being All-Pro? Second team All-Pro isn't elite? Yikes

We literally had one injury last year. Douglass was just as good, if not better, than Tre. I didn't use the what-if with injuries, I'm talking specifically in terms of talent with Milano. Literally only one team has Tyreek Hill and the team that traded him away has won 2 Super Bowls since him leaving. It's more on the QB / OC than anyone here realizes. I genuinely believe we have more talent than KC but we have a far worse HC / OC than KC and that's the determining factor.

So you're going to use PFF to say Dion wasn't great last season but disregard the Taron Johnson PFF grade because of 1 play? He was literally 4th best in the NFL.. “Johnson has earned an 82.8 coverage grade over the last two years, eighth in the NFL,” Kosko wrote. “He is also another player who prevents separation at a high level, ranking fifth in the advanced metrics. The six-year pro has been vital to the success of the Bills' defense for several years.” BTW, that 8th is out of ALL corners. He was elite my man.

This plus no Diggs, Didn't you prove yourself wrong in your own post? LOL I agree with this. He is not Davis nor Edmunds. Clearly, Bernard stepped in, is the size of a corner and was more effective than Edmunds. Gabe Davis did zilch down the stretch. Not every edge is a premier pass rusher, there are not many in the NFL. He is a solid DE and is still getting better.

Taron Johnson is an elite nickel, Ed Oliver should have been All-Pro last year. Dion Dawkins is top 5 at his position, Cook was #4 in yards for RB last year. Torrence was on the All-Rookie team, Milano was an All-Pro before horrible turf ended his season. We just have Allen? LOL

I know, I know... it's hard to believe because some have told us that Josh doesn't work hard in the offseason anymore. Contrary to the belief of some on this board, I guess Josh DOES do SOME work in the offseason. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/josh-allen-worked-to-make-throwing-motion-as-efficient-as-possible-this-offseason Edit: didn't see this posted last night... RIP to me

Please point to the instance where I was complaining? Calling something brutal is not complaining. It’s pointing out an obvious.
-
That would also be incorrect. He was pretty bad in 2022, actually.
-
I dont really care, I said the mistakes are brutal, didn't go further than that. No where did I complain my man.
-
There are several.
-
Wow, you're right.. That's BRUTAL.. Baylor Spector....

Which battle in camp are you watching the closest?
warrior9 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
This would be SOOO ideal. Even if he loses by a hair but we're better off with him there and McGovern at LG (which I think we will be)., that should be the play. Unless SVPG is just atrocious, this should be what we're pushing for. -

The safety battle is something I’m interested in but not because I’m worried who starts because I think we’ll be fine no matter what. I’m more interested in that because we’re young there and have a lot of athleticism and I’m intrigued to see who rises to the top and becomes the starters. I’m most interested in the WR room and seeing how it all shakes out. Where does Brady see Shakiir? What role will he play? What’s the role for Samuel? Is the other outside between Hollins/ MVS? What kind of camp do they have? Did Shorter develop? How does Coleman’s game look at the NFL level? There is a lot of excitement, unknown, and even for a lot on the board, worry about the position. -
Matt Parrino - "Claypool has been most consistent WR during OTAs"
warrior9 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I did watch a LOT of him at FSU. We aren't talking about stats, you said you saw a lot of bad film, I did not. Of course there are bad plays, everyone has bad plays. What I saw was a lack of diversity in his route tree, which is not his fault. When you have a predictable route tree and only run 4 routes (he basically ran go, post, slant, hitch, that's really it), it's MUCH easier to press and sit... Yet he still had 50 catches avg 13.2 YPC. I do think he lacks a "burst" but that's not his game. That's why we have Curtis Samuel and Shakiir, etc. He did not have "bad film" that is a ludicrous statement. You insinuating that GM's looked at his tape and thought "this is bad, let's pick him round 1 or 2" as a consensus. -

Please send me this film you saw that "wasn't good" and where he "struggled in man coverage" If you don't like him, fine but I'd like to see this film that isn't good. AVG 13.2 yards per catch over your career seems better than "wasn't good" to me. I watched a lot of him at FSU and I disagree with your take fully. -
Joe Marino talks what the Bills have to do to beat KC in playoffs
warrior9 replied to Nephilim17's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lol no, you are changing your tune now. That is not at ALL what you were saying before.... You were saying Mahomes came in with a contender and so did Reid (which isn't true).. I am not misreading what you are saying at all. I genuinely don't think you knew what you were saying or if anyone would agree with the below quotes meaning anything today. Some of your quotes: " But Patrick mahomes inherited a super bowl contender... Josh Allen didn't That is the difference in the first couple years of their career " Ok, although this isn't true.... but what does that have ANYTHING to do with the last 4 years when both were elite and had ELITE rosters? I want to know the answer to this question. One more: My only point was that Andy Reid took over Kansas City and built them into a contender with Alex Smith... When he got mahomes the team was already ready to contend When the bills got Josh Allen the team was not built to contend.. it was not ready to contend till year three Let's say this is true.. again, WHAT does this have to do with the last 4 years when we had an elite roster? Them coming in to the league and McDermott having "only 7 years" with a team means WHAT? NO ONE gets 7 years dude. He's had an elite roster for 4 years... I have NO idea what you're getting at.. I'm not misreading anything. If that's your way of saying "I think the Bills right now can beat the Chiefs".. that's a very odd way of doing it. -

What does this have to do with ANYTHING? What does this have to do with them having teams the last 4 years? That means nothing? They both have had teams to content at the exact same time? How they came in to the league means nothing. They have both had super bowl ready teams the last 4 years. Your point is 1000000% moot? This is the craziest thing i've read on this board in soooo long.. You are theorizing that Mahomes is only better/ has superbowls because he came in to the league with a better roster to start?
