  1. "and um like.... and um like.... and um like....and um like....and um like....and um like....and um like....and um like...." - Ellis Lankster
  2. I gotta say this warms my heart - seriously - mods would have so much less work if folks had the moxie to cowboy up and say "yeah, too far, sorry!" more often. All is good my guy! Zero hard feelings... it's the internet and we all over react to a Bills loss, especially.
  3. It's not hard when you attacked me for saying he's not the problem and has had a good season and called me Mrs. Dawkins, shared links, called him a liability, etc etc.
  4. He was caught in bad position a few times this game but I thought each time he was able to correct it throughout the play and make up for it. Everyone gets beat but his effort to keep playing from whistle to whistle has been awesome. I also think people forget that he had Jurrell Casey lined up in a 3I basically all game and that JC is an absolute monster.
  5. Were you not telling me just last week that he is a "consistent liability" ? Then proceeded to share links about how bad he was and call me Mrs. Dawkins? I think calling someone "consistent liability" is more than saying he's inconsistent. EDIT: Sorry, you said he's good just for LT Depth or LG.
  6. He's also not the reason Zay doesn't fight for the ball or play defender.
  7. I'm not disagreeing with you at all.... As long as that call is consistent (as rare as it may be), i'm fine with it. It happens and its a rule they're implementing. Not all players are intentionally trying to hit a player in the head when they do it.... it's still a penalty.
  8. You've seen a player flipped into a QB's knees before?
  9. Yeah I was wondering about that too.. Similar to the "blocking into the punt returner" penalty. That flag is picked up. I guess the intent doesn't matter when it comes to QB's. That's a VERY rare play to happen and I'd be interested to see if the league keeps it consistent if it does happen again. I have no problem with that being a penalty if its consistent. They're simply trying to take low hits to the QB out of that game at all costs.
  10. Lol blown coverage? He beat the guy off the line and inside on a slant... on the 6 yard line......? Explain "blown coverage" please
  11. I agree.. As Oliver, Edmunds, Milano, Wallace, even Murphy keep progressing.... we're going to keep getting better.... I didn't like Trent Murphy because I initially thought he was brought in to get sacks. Now I realize that he's not being asked to be a pass rushing specialist, he's play his part and has been above average against the run. I think he's finally feeling caught up from his ACL and all those injuries last year.
  12. Based on everything we know of McDermott. I'd be absolutely SHOCKED if he doesn't help his assistants get HC jobs. Your goal as a boss is to set up people you care about for success and help them achieve their goals.. I don't think Frazier gets snagged and I don't think Daboll has done enough yet. However, I can see Ken Dorsey getting an OC job or a college job some where.
  13. I love how the article says "different expectations" The outside perception of this team pre-season was SOOO different than our perception. It's so weird how everyone thought we would be a bad team, even with returning 10 starters on defense and drafting Oliver.
  14. I wonder if Frazier wants another HC job. I wonder if he really likes his position and being a part of building this thing. Not to mention, with the way the league is going with young offensive minds... does he get consideration as a past coach that didn't do great as an HC(especially as a defensive guy)?
  15. The fact that they are doing this without turnovers means it's much more sustainable, no? A lot of times pics, fumbles, etc are "luck" in the NFL. Can we create more opportunities? sure but forcing 5 + 3 and outs week in and week out is very sustainable. Yeah, I love this about our coaching staff.. that's how you create a team, not "stars" Yeah and if need be, we have Kurt Coleman to come in. There'll be no drop off. Marlowe has played pretty well too.
  16. After watching yesterday, I continue to be blown away at how incredibly sound and well coached this defense is. There was two plays in particular where I thought, "WOW, that is a combination of great coaching, execution, and discipline." This defense follows their keys like a team I haven't seen in a long time. Here are the plays: 1) Siran Neal blitzes off of the edge, and the Titans ran a swing with their WR. Based on that blitz, one wrong misstep or misread by our defense that play beats us 95% of the time for a big play. Poyer (could have been Hyde) comes from the safety position and fills with a gain of ~1 yard making a great open field tackle. 2) Titans run a power stretch. We're 100% beat to the outside. Hughes was being double and to make up ground, spins to the outside and forces Henry back inside for the LB's to fill. It was truly a very savvy play by Hughes that I don't think he makes even last year. When I'm watching this defense, the cohesion has been absolutely unreal. There's very little drop off with sub packages and our rotation is strong. If we stay healthy, we have a VERY special defensive unit. It's been very fun to watch.
  17. Yeah, look at how well the Vikings did with him and Theilen last year. Steelers with AB and JuJu.. didn't make the play offs Falcons with Julio (aside from one year, where their defense was incredible), Calvin Ridley and Sanu.... 1-3. How many times Calvin Johnson made the playoffs Man those Bengals REALLY KILLED it last year with AJ Green and Tyler Boyd. And WOW did the Giants KILL it with OBJ. All of their sub 6-10 seasons. All the "GREAT" WR's pats had last year (other than Moss, they don't have great receivers, ever) Julian Edelman is probably avg on any other team, see Wes Welker All those "GREAT" WR's the Panthers had when the went to the SB. (cotchery was their #1) Seahawks with "all of the money" they have tied up in WR. (Who is their #1?) Point being... QB driven league, WR's don't win you games. QB's make receivers.... not the other way around.
  18. Never understood wanting to spend money at the WR position. With no QB / OL, they're useless anyway.
  19. Maybe the coaching staff is holding out hope that Robert Foster comes back from his injury after the bye week and returns to last seasons form? That would be ideal. I don't think we're making a trade for a WR. Just get Dawson Knox more involved.
  20. No, stop it man. You sound like someone that understands football outside of ESPN and what some website tells you!
  21. Please see "that stood" Dion Dawkins has no been bad in the slightest this year.... Every linemen gets beat. But i'm wondering where this liability film is? I have yet to see him get beat "plenty" this year and look out of place, Mr. Sullivan.
  22. He has 1 holding call this year that stood and 1 last year..........................
  23. Proof of him being a "huge liability" please. I'm assuming you meant constantly... so let's find this proof.
